Has anyone managed to fix this? Or I should just look into MTN fibreX, I tried their form and saw my area but didn't see my street, still want to call to cross-check tho

try moving your ODU around but as long as your previous subscription expired then your speed should be back to normal unless network is bad for your side now

the 5g unlock will reach stable users...make beta users dey enjoy am for now

I think it's rolling out gradually. I'm on beta so maybe it's no working on stable update yet

MTN 5G worked flawlessly on my last 4a 5G {rooted}. It just a little tweak that is only possible on rooted phone. It will cost Google or MTN to make just a minor adjustments to fix this.

My current 6pro is with Lte+ stock and non-root phone, I don't joke with Lte+

I'm using pixel 7 pro. I'm on beta tho

I think the 5G works on beta for now because it was after this latest beta update i started seeing it

Screenshot abeg. I'm using a pixel 7 and I've never seen 5G. I'm in Lekki, Lagos. 5G was stable on my pixel 5a 5G. I don't know what changed

But what we're using in Nigeria is not the main 5G...it's just 5G NSA

Real 5G which is 5G SA (Stand Alone) is not available on Airtel yet as far as I know. Maybe some time in the future sha.

I think they are working on it because for some reason I'm seeing 5g on my MTN although it's not stable just comes and goes in less than a second

Pixel phones doesn't support 5g in Nigeria because they ain't made for us or haven't launch in Nigeria

Hi guys I've been having a LOT of issues with my airtel ODU (specifically ZLT X17U).

Just got it last month around the 25th. Everything beens working well but for like the past 4-5 days my speed has basically reduced to barely anything

I initially was getting about 22mbps steady (Although I paid for the 50mbps but tried everywhere around my house didn't really get up to that). But for the past 4 days the speed basically dipped to 2mbps like it's capped or something

I've tried calling airtel multiple times, First time I was told it'd be fixed in 72 hours although I later got a call that day that it had been fixed, I got home restarted it and it wasn't

Second time, I told the cc to escalate to their supervisor, Was told it'd be fixed in an hour. It wasn't

Third time, It was escalated again to a supervisor. He told me that a technical team person will get in contact with me in 24 hours, It's past 24 hours now and no call 😭

How did y'all fix this please🙏🏿

My fear was that maybe I'm even on my free month that's why it's slow and I should try subscribing for another month. Just for the subscription to fail through transfer and airtime. Had to call them again and they said they'll do it from their side😭.

I've been hearing about band locking and cell locking, if that'll help can someone put me through thanks🙏🏿

That's Band 3. I think Airtel has issues with their Band 7 (both 3256 & 3400) today. Thankfully B3 was okay. This could be peculiar to my location though.

That's one of the disadvantages of Band/Cell locking.

So 7 days after ODU installation in my house, Airtel has not been able to activate the free 1 month browsing, i have called and called bust still no show,I am frustrated right now. I have the other Smart Box 5G with sim, I am thinking of subscribing the smart box sim and put it in my ODU. My ODU is ESIM but i can switch it to External Sim. Would the subscribed smartbox sim work on my ODU?

I was experiencing very bad network until my network switched to this and it became very fast. Abeg those doing cell locking, how is it done?

Someone just chatted me claiming to be owner of this moniker "PHERANME..." he is asking for 7k to resolve my ODU issue. his number is 09033399151. Is he legit or a scammer?

I just searched the number on nairaland self and the number don even cast because people have reported the number as scam so many times

Gd evening guys. I have the ZLT W304VA PRO ODU. Installation was done over 5 days ago but it is not browsing till now. I am fed up with calling them. I have a Smart box 5G with Simcard in it but very bad network on the Smart box, Can I remove the sim from the Smart box and use it in the Odu?. My ODU is E-Sim. Can I switch it to External sim and use my smartbox sim card? Would it work? Kindly advice. Thanks inadvance
