Can anyone else confirm they no longer throttle your speed after hitting 1TB on the 25K - 50Mbps plan? I know the 45K plan had 1.5TB speed cap also.

BTW, i was the first to report the 1TB speed cap throttling to 2Mbps sometime last year. I stopped subscribing because of that.

Mine is around 160gig...that is why I switched to the one year plan...I can get max speed for N25k if I use 160 gig per month for 4 months.

Hello people. Please I need help with my ODU, I subbed after months of being away. And the network has been so bad I don’t even get up to 500kbps unless from midnight. Now Iearnt to put it at 3g during the day to get like 1-2mbps. What can I do? I have called their customer care several times and the last one said before 72hrs, they would resolve it. I don’t think it’s because there is no Airtel network. Is something wrong with the router?

Mine hovers between 20-40 at best.

I'm using the 3 months sub. It's capped at 1tb each month not 1tb for the whole 3 months.

I always use 6 months on my 5G router to save money. However, you should know if the Airtel network is good in your area. If you're unsure and new to this, try 90 days first to get a feel for their service and find a workaround before committing to 6 months.

Does that lives in ibadan you can visit any mtn shop closest/available to you. A friend just got his MTN ODU today 20/05/2026 from there for 30k . I think this will be good for new users who are just coming into the ODU shit. Compare to airtel 40k package/installation

Hi guys, I did a 6months subscription for my Odu Airtel like 4days ago but data is yet to be active, anytime I try to connect it says connected without internet.

Since the last time Airtel happened to me, I have been having largely improved experience. Today for instance, and right now as I type, I'm streaming football matches on FHD with no buffering.

I wouldn’t say I don’t experience downtimes either Airtel sometimes, but it’s not that common. A simple band lock fixes it, there are times you must have to combine bands for network to be stable, there are times you’ll just need to lock to a single band. This was my speed around 11:40am . I was downloading with torrent . Also I noticed that devices connected to your router sometimes prioritize themselves for speed which in turn affects other devices. But overall I’m enjoying this Airtel, and Starlink is the only thing that can replace it for me.

Today is my 8th day without service on my ODU. They keep telling me that they are working very hard to resolve the issue.
I think I have to quit at this point. It wasn't a good experience.
Bought on the 19th of February, started working on the 21st and stopped on the 9th of march.
The worst is that the due date is on 19th of march. Are the expecting a renewal from me or what?
