I graduated there years ago, medway campus is close to Gillingham and Chatham. The campus is extremely excellent for study having situated longest library in Europe if am not mistaken. Drills library is sophisticated with diverse of textbooks and hi tech computers. The lecturers are seasoned and deliverables.
The environment is quite different from London in terms of bubbles but is Ok if you're not outgoings.
The cost of living is averagely ok, you can get nice apartment with moderate price but no jobs in that zone. You can only get few places to hustle in either Chatham or outskirts but nothing in Gillingham and medway. Above all, the university is strictly on studies they'll surely bombarded you with coursework. If you're going for Engineering course, I advised you to tighten your belts.

If you are also studying there can you tell me a bit about the Environment? Life in medway? Cost of living ? Jobs ? And getting a nice accommodation… I don't think I want a dry/dull community LOL �

Something is bothering me and I need you to help me out.

My husband is about to sponsor my masters in the UK while he will apply together with me and our daughter as my dependent.

1) Since he's my sponsor: does he qualify to be my dependent as well?

2 ) Can we use his account to apply together ? Or he needs to move the entire funds into my own account and then use my account to apply?? He has a business and personal account.


Please I need your advice
Someone said since he's my sponsor he cannot apply to be my dependent. (We can’t apply together).

Please Nairalanders, my uncle is sudenly confronted with this eye problem since last week that he hardly sees with one of his eyes. We have been to many hospitals in eastern nigeria but all to no avail. My fear is that it could effect the other eye that functions well if care is not taken. I have my First degree B.Sc in Computer science ( 2.2) But I have huge passion for nursing and I'm About to enroll for msc pre nursing in the uk.

The problem Is that the schools want me to show evidence of care/health experience,some schs will request for 720/750hrs/800hrs..

Please how to I demonstrate my care/ health experience ? Do I need to enroll in Nigeria for a 6 month short nursing course ?

Thanks for ur response. I do not have receipts to show for the outgoings. It’s my day to day account and I use it almost everyday for my feeding, workers feeding, fuel , food stuffs, utility bill and other miscellaneous , and there is no way I can get a receipt for all dis.

But I already had invoice for proof of savings because I received some heavy inflow monthly as well

I was asked the total amount of money I spend in a month. After calculating my monthly expenditure on my bank statement I got confused coz it varies.. I don’t have a fix amount.. some months I spend in total over 200k, another month over 400k and another month over 800k and over 1m in another month.

Please how do I calculate my monthly outgoings? (Expenditure ) because I'm having hard time filling the form when asked about the total amount of money I spend in a month

On my personal account I don't have a stable outgoings due to my job coz sometime I spend over 200k , over 400k, 800k and about a million sometimes.

I'm a building contractor and I intend to use my personal account.

Please help! How do I go about it.

Yes he qualifies. As long as you have enough maintenance and ihs fund for both of you and the child.

He can use his account without issue. Or can also transfer. It does not matter.

The person who told you he can't be your sponsor is confusing student visa application with visit visa application.

Thank you for this information. We have enough money for the maintenance and IHS.

1) How do we calculate the IHS fee ?

2) can you explain this ::: you (or your partner or child) must have this money for at least 28 consecutive days. The end date of the 28 day period must be within 31 days of the date they apply for their visa. ??
