How to flash Infinix ROM.
You must have the proper drivers installed on your Computers do have peculiar issues. However one of the following steps will install them.
A. Auto driver installer
B. Universal naked driver
C. Clockworkmod universal ADB drivers.
Troubleshooting
If you have installed and reinstalled drivers, you may want to use USB DEVIEW, 32 or 64 bit as needed to uninstall some them.
Pda net can also do this.
Or switch off your phone and connect to your computer. The preloader will be and when you switch it on, other drivers will be installed. It largely depends on the computer.

1. Open a folder on the computer desktop and name it, Infinix
2. Extract the downloaded ROM and the Infinix flash tool inside the Infinix folder.
3. Open the flash tool folder inside the Infinix folder and run the Flash_tool.exe as administrator.
3a. It will takeep you to the Infinix dashboard. Click on Brower.
4. This will open a Window with a number of files, ignore them to the left, look for desktop and click on it. This take you to the desktop.
5. On the desktop navigate to the infinix folder and open the folder where the extracted ROM is. It will open a window with text files.
6. Click on mt6589_android -scatter, the necessary files will be loaded. This will take back you to the Infinix dashboard.
7. Click on start.
8. Remove the SIMPLE cards and memory card from your phone and fix and connect the USB to it.
9. Place the phone on a flat surface and then connect it to the computer.
10. Once connected, DON'T break the connection.
11. If drivers are properly installed, flashing will commence immediately with different colours showing on the progress bar.
12. When it gets to the yellow color it slows down and will run to 100 %. A tick will appear. Close in Infinix flash tool dashboard, disconnect your phone and insert the cards back in. Power on. Done.

I feel angry with myself for attempting to root my phone on Sunday...up till now... my phone is still bricked.... and I don't know what else to do...the most annoying part... friends dey price the phone 8k.... phone I got for 20,500 barely 2weeks ago

You don't get it my broda, i av downloaded rom said to be infinix Hot Note Pro kitkat stock ROM of 1gig, flashed it only for my phone not to power on, I had to flash back d lollipop, well i went further again to havotek downloaded wat was also said to be d stock rom flashable able again with sp Flash. Of 885mb my broda I cudnt even flash dat successfully as it complains one or 2 files are missing, so my phone refused to power on again, i had to flash back 0925 lollipop Rom..

So i tot if there's any possibility of restoring d cwm backup I made on kitkat b4 i upgraded buh stil my bro na same story.

jreyez... I just bought an infinix hot 2 android one ...running 5.1 loliipop barely two weeks ago and i bricked it in an attempt to root it.
actually, i had already rooted succesfully with kingroot 4.5, the brick happened when i tried replacing king user with supersu-me and updating the cmw recovery....
I rebooted and that was the end...phone enter boot loop....

I formatted the phone in recovery mode, for wherreee!!!! Phone no gree work
took it to slot where i bought it, their wack engineers couldnt flash it because they dont have the official infinix android one firmware...

For now, that phone is part of my life, because i cant imagine myself going back to android 4.4

Go to infinix website and download the android one firmware. Follow the instructions there and you can use it to unbrick your phone.

For those whom their devices got bricked; at what point did it brick? Was it after successfully rooting it? Or In the process of rooting? Or when trying to replace Kinguser with SuperSu?

mine got bricked after replacing kinguser with supersu and restarting
