PoliticsRe: Tinubu Reveals ‘Driving Vision’ For Nigeria by limeta(f): 3:11pm On Mar 12, 2022
Dsalvo:
How? Something that is well-defined as a system of Governance, used by many nations worldwide, is "meaningless" ?

Tinubu is a learned, visionary and, dare I say, brilliant man even if that reality does not sit well with some of you who host preconceived and baseless negativity towards him.

We have all agreed with all that is written below at some stage and advocated it as the panacea to our problems. What is then "meaningless" about decentralized democracy?

Or is it meanlingless because it comes from BAT?

I myself, would be rich for the number of times I have cited USA as an example of a good template for Nigeria. While we have the Nigerian NPF for our relatively big land mass, USA has LAPD, NYPD, CPD etal.

In theory we practice a system. Of government similar to that of the USA but it is obvious our leaders have adopted elements of the American system of governance that allows a few to loot copiously, to the detriment of the citizenry.

Yet the same Nigerian politicians have consistently and wickedly rejected all aspect of the American system of Governance that empower States, individuals and boosts wealth and wellbeing in a free and competitive market system.

Ngige: There’s No Money To Meet Demands Of ASUU by Health16: 8:20am
The Minister of Labour, Employment and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige, has stated that the Federal Government does not have the funds to meet its obligations in the agreement signed with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Ngige said the government was considering a renegotiation of the terms of the agreement with ASUU, in the effort to end the ongoing strike by university lecturers.

The minister made this known while appearing on Politics Today, a current affairs programme on Channels Television.
