The even funnier fact is that Lagos has always been a business hub before the existence of Nigeria, where did you think the Yoruba warriors traded guns and weapons with the Portuguese, the then cocoa traders who built the first sky scrapper in west africa traded their goods through Lagos as well and all this stuffs is what made Lagos an economic giant not what you fools think. It has always been a point of eceonomic engagement before Lord lugard.
