It's funny how people are already downgrading Spain because they lost a tournament that had only 7 opposing teams. . .grin grin

Spanish players were tired and exhausted from Thursday's 122 minute match and looked like they just wanted to get into the plane and go home, they didn't value this tournament after playing a long and never ending semifinals for a trophy that no team other than brazil have won, lol. grin grin

It looks like people are forgetting that no team have gone on to win the world cup after winning the confederations cup.

That simply says that this is a yogurt tournament and brazil have always won bread trophies and are nowhere to be found in huge tournaments.

The 2014 World Cup will prove that brazil's performance tonight was just a fluke. tongue
Speechless. Anyway, I now you're a lovable troll. No shaking. grin

SportsRe: Brazil Vs Spain - Confederations Cup Final (3 - 0) On 30th June 2013 by lineal: 1:14am On Jul 01, 2013
Afam4eva: Brazil should not delude themselves that by beating Spain, they're the best in the world. This is just the confederation cup played on their own turn, so home advantage came handy and actually contributed a great deal to them winning this match. I think they will be humbled next year at the world cup proper. As for Spain, they're not different from Barcelona. They can annihilate any team in the world but when they get beaten, they also get annihilated and find it difficult even scoring a goal. Though i still tip them to win the world cup next year. Brazil doesn't even make it to my top 5 favorite teams to lift the trophy next year. My list includes Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Uruguay.

naptu2: Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose! smiley

I remember that we had Kingsway at Marina, Leventis at Apapa, UTC on Broad Street, Bhjosons on Awolowo Road, CFAO/Moloney @ Moloney Street, etc.

A young girl was shocked and exclaimed, "Did you have cinemas in Nigeria in the 1970s?" I burst out laughing.

Now we've got The Palms Lekki, Adeniran Ogunsanya Mall, City Mall, Silverbird Galleria, etc.
In the 70s/80s, there was also a Leventis at Surulere near Akerele, near the Super Cinema and a main post office.

Desola: All these yeye iragbiji and Ibadan citizens coming to talk rubbish putting their yeye mouth in Lagos' business sef.
You are not from Lagos.

This is what you said about the Oba of Lagos:

Desola: Fork akiolu! Fork the tinubus! Fork the abalujes who do not see the clear nepotism going on here!
I am not here to attack you, but we both know there is not a chance in hell your people are truly from Lagos. You should have restricted your vulgarity to Fake Tinubu.

kobikwelu: ^^^^

and who told you thishuh the same white machinery that committed the atrocities in the first placehuh

dont be naive....it is the classic case of using us to blame ourselves for what they did......

they took their ships and came here and after raping the land, disappeared...

two questions......they had the gun power to do anything, why come and start trading when you can take stuff??

......don't believe what is being fed down your throat...

how come whole villages disappeared??...

the only mistake the Africans did was welcoming them on their land.....
You can't reason with people like that creature you quoted. Too much self-loathing and white worship.

guy1234: See how simple they look, very modest without thronge of aides hovering around them.
Just because you don't see the aides doesn't mean they're not there. Why are you people so gullible and so down on your own kind?
