Which conference? Did you watch proceedings at all? 90% of the time was spent on sleeping in chamber, playing ludo and draft games, fighting, bickering and at the end receive a pay package of 12M+ including angling for their cooks, drivers, bag carriers and laundry men to be paid. Jonathan obliged all just because he was looking for endorsements for another tenure. The people shouting for it to be implemented are only trying to justify their participation and huge monies earned, they know within their minds nothing concrete was achieved.
For me, any conference that do not recommend regional governments, stronger regions/states and weaker centre is just a JAMBOREE. That is the only solution to all these cries of Biafra, Oduduwa and Lower Niger republics.

The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.

Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance,why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener.

And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other,they marry each other,they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.

As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.

While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.

In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.

So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone.

What you have just done with this post is subtle brainwashing. So that people can give just 'a little' space in their heart for this gay shi.t so that with time people will gradually accept it as 'just a way of life'. But just as you think you are smart so other smarter folks are watching too and I can bet you this grand plan is one that will not work in Nigeria. Why? Cos collectively christians, muslims, traditional worshippers and the average Nigerian by culture hate it. It is alien.
As a true Nigerian you shouldnt advocate for it cos you dont have the same mental orientation as a white man. As someone who also lives among these people I can tell you their brain is totally different from ours. For instance a white dude can kill you if you are mean to his cat but back home handling such things the way they do is alien to us. So also is the culture of homosexuality and its the same way they cannot wrap their fingers around why a man should marry more than one wife.
What I am trying to say is that why we are not interfering in their gay culture they MUST not push their own on us. And that it is more saddening that you have become their spokesperson (except you are gay which I dont want to conclude on) instead of being our spokesperson.
You must realize it doesnt get any better cos when everyone has accepted this shi.t next will be freedom to allow men cut off their pen.is and implant brea.st and it gets worse. so see it as an agenda and not a freedom for the oppressed. We have enogh shi.t in the world today already
