Remember the person who commented and talked about obedience and control? He has said almost everything. But here is a few addition....

1. As a christian you dont look at the word of God this way. You sound suspicious of Gods genuinity and love. The manner you placed the issue seem void of faith. The only person you should put this question to is Gods Holy Spirit Himself who teaches all thing. Nothing is hidden except to them that are already lost or wise in their own eyes, plus nairaland is the 'wrongest' place to come getting the answer cos in the process some pagans will mock your god (with them possibly knowing the answer but still use the opportunity to mock God all thanks to you)

When Former President Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan made the remarks 'STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION' The opposition took it out of contest and twisted what he was trying to say. So when the opposition mocked the former president they indirectly sealed a wrong idea that stealing alone IS what corruption was all about. Because following GEJ's remark will make the people turn their search light from the stolen monies to those practices that GEJ would rather call corruption.

Today with all the monies Buhari has spent time tracing around the world and recovered the status quo has not changed; with all the 'corrupt thieves' he has so far caught more thieves are coming up to rape the decayed institutions.

There is only one way out: This administration must bow to GEJ's assertion and chase the real corruption which is not the money stolen but the PROCESS by which the money is being stolen.

I agree that we need a restructure of the political pattern in Nigeria. But I disagree with this man that we dont need all those offices. What I think we rather need in addition is to drastically reduce the cost of governance.

For instance I want to assume all our senators are rich business men who could afford the cost of their campaign, that is, they have brilliant minds to have succeeded in their respective business. So why not have a situation where they offer their brilliance for free as members of NASS.

If our president, senators, honorables, govs etc offer free services we will save alot for people oriented projects plus the fact that only those with passion to truely serve will find themselves there.

Having 300 senators means 300 minds to vet bills before laws are made and with such you cant go wrong. But assuming we reduce to 10 senators they will be drained out before they are able to cater for 180million people.

Bottomline reduce cost not the number of hands on deck
