Thanks, You can't use 100amp, if used then it will not be specifically for the laptop again as that one will power other gadgets and can also stay for as long as 8hrs or more but that type will require an detachable battery that will not be in-built and the cost will increase as you know.

My brother, honestly, I feel it looks more like the stabilizer I use in my house than an inverter. Like I posted above, pls could you explain how this works different from the normal UPS which doesn't last. Can it work without being connected to power, I mean, does it store power the same way batteries do? Pls explain.

what we do is to get a old casing either stabilizer or ups and i then coupled it having the batteries inside it instead of the normal inverter that uses a separate battery.

The battery makes it work without being connected to power once you have charged it for like 1hr to 2hrs,

@Japro, both courses are lucrative in Nigeria but the question is why is it that 75% Elect/Elect students are found writing one Computer professional course or the other, the issue is in the next 20 years in Nigeria, I.T will remain valid in BUT POWER or most things related to Elect/Elect are not futuristic as even NEPA or PHCN managing Directors have shares in the importation of Generators which means they are not ready to making power issues to be solved as they are earning more money from Generator supplier than from their salaries.

I would strongly advice you to go for Computer Science and for more details join my job offers group on FACEBOOK ", Dream it Achieve it". Just search for the name and see for yourself the number of I.T related job to that of Elect/Elect.
