Nigerian men are pi*sed that naija girls are happy for the couple, rather than b*tching and moaning about why Nigerian men are supposedly leaving them (which they aren't by a long shot). Compare this to how Nigerian men whine over Nigerian girls with foreign men. Insecure bunch. lol. 2 Likes |

Also the Nigerian men talking shit about Nigerian women hating their looks are not serious. They have forgotten Michael Jackson and Vybz Kartel. Also men are not under pressure to conform to societal notions of beauty the way women are. Why won't African girls be "fake" when their men overly express preference for mixed looking or European looking women. The evidence is there. We know that more African men are with women of other races compared with African women and other men. Women change their looks towards what society wants compared to men and this is not limited to African women. Why don't you ask why European men don't dye their hair blonde compared to their female counterparts who do? Better believe....the average African man thinks that his mixed or European looking counterpart looks more handsome than he does. He's just not under societal pressure to change his looks. Nonsense and ingredients. 1 Like |

Juliet Ibrahim IS prettier than Kim Kardashian. After seeing the pics of Kim in lagos I am now convinced that Hollywood celebrity beauty is all lights, make-up and glam squads. There was a picture that Kim took with Tiwa Savage, Waje, Ugonna Omeruo and other ladies and EVERY SINGLE ONE of these girls outshone Kim in the looks department. Kim looked stubby, short, shapeless, cellulite ridden and leopard-eyed compared to those girls. Nigerians should give our female celebs more props because we don't have an advanced glam sqaud like those in the west. We should also have more confidence in our African beauty please. the Colomentality is too much. I also remember that picture with Genevieve Nnaji and Rosario Dawson. Rosario looked like a plastic alligator posing next to Genevieve. Abeg our celebs are fine jor. 1 Like |

Nigerian men are the biggest hypocrites known in the universe! And they are the biggest hor*ny man wh*res on the face of the earth - from predatory pastors to incestuous fathers, campus rapists, gang-banger armed robbers, and lecherous sugardaddies. Rubbish. |
Celebrities / Re: Kim Kardashian Interviewed By Gbemi Of Beat-FM by litgirl22: 3:15am On Feb 19, 2013 |
Nigerian men are the only set of African men that bash their female equivalents like there is no tomorrow. Sometimes they disgust me - if Nigerian girls are wh*res, what set of men made them wh*res in the first place? A country where pedophilia and all sorts of sexual crimes against little gitls are rampant (see crime pages here in NL), why won't Nigerian girls grow to be wh*res as some of you a**holes are blabbing 3 Likes |
Religion / Re: If Eternal Life And Heaven Is Real, Why Is Death Bad? by litgirl22: 2:18am On Feb 16, 2013 |
ARareGem: It is not as if we are not aware the dead person is going to a better place (i.e. if the person gave his life to Christ before dying). But we mourn loosing the physical presence of the loved one, we mourn the friendship that is lost, we mourn the lost support- support in all its ramifications-from the person that is gone. There's a void left open when a loved one dies. Also, we mourn the judgement that awaits them if they had not accepted Jesus before dying. Do you mourn someone who has gone on a vacation? Yeah there will be a void because the person is gone, but black clothes? Weeping? Commiseration? Sorrow? Fear? Death should be a akin to a vacation, and all things being equal you may likely meet this a loved one who has passed on again (when you are also called). People also mourn those who had christian and Godlike reputations while alive so the judgement thing/hell is a miss there. |

Why are dead people victimized if they are going to a better place than earth according to religion? They are victors, not victims, using religious logic. Are you a Christain/Muslim? What does the bible or Koran teach you? EasyNaija.com: |

re@lchange: Last I heard Nigerians are flocking to the mentioned countries for greener pastures. Monaco is the hangout and "escape" for the VERY rich. Japan has a top-notch quality of life. Ditto Germany and Belgium. India is an economic powerhouse despite the poverty. Hell yeah i want Nigeria to be like these countries! Would gladly trade places! |

Politics / Re: Nigeria’s Population To Hit 170 Million This Year by litgirl22: 11:38pm On Feb 15, 2013 |
re@lchange: There are countries with waaaay higher population density/landmass than ours. Asia and Western Europe come to mind. If we use the population density recorded in Monaco which is the highest in the world despite the VERY good quality of life, Nigeria can contain BILLIONS of people. Nigeria has 453 people per square mile. Monaco has over 30,000 people per Square Mile. Japan that is complaining of a declining population has 873 people per Square Mile Germany has 593 people per square Mile India has 989 people per Square Mile Taiwan has 1,668 people per Square Mile Belgium has 945 people per Square Mile So our population can even double, triple, without issue regarding how our land will fit us. The problem is our ineptitude in managing our size. Period. 1 Like |

kandiikane: Population is a BIG strength IF handled properly. It is highly correlated with economic power and prosperity. The most economically buoyant countries in respective continents tend to have large populations. Asia -China/India North America/America in general: USA South America: Brazil Western Europe: Germany/the UK/France Eastern Europe: Russia Not saying that these countries are perfect, but there is no doubt that they have the most influence and powers in their regions. But I agree Nigeria has to supplement her population with wealth. |
Politics / Re: Nigeria’s Population To Hit 170 Million This Year by litgirl22: 11:07pm On Feb 15, 2013 |
You know...I wonder why our neighboring countries have much smaller populations when controlled for landmass: Niger (northern neighbor): 16.2 million Cameroon (eastern neighbor): 19.4 million Benin Republic (western neighbor): 8.9 million Chad (Northeastern neighbor): 11.2 million Our cultures cannot be THAT drastically different from all our neighbors. Abi we like to do pass or what? |

Religion / If Eternal Life And Heaven Is Real, Why Is Death Bad? by litgirl22: 10:20pm On Feb 15, 2013 |
Question for the religious and theist believers. If eternal life and heaven/paradise/jannah/nirvana and so forth are the ultimate goals and destinations of human beings, why is death feared and mourned? Most people have a culture of weeping for the dead, and remarking about how short and fleeting life is. If you are religious, a short life in an evil world is a good trade off for everlasting life in bliss! Life on earth should not be regarded as precious in any way! Or...do we subconsciously regard life on earth as the first and last bus stop for us? It's senseless how religious bodies see death as a period of sorrow, wear black, cry, weep, spend a few hours dreading the inevitability of the death of all humans, etc. Death should be celebrated as joyously as birthdays if religious texts about eternal life are anything to go by. Parties, laughs, merry, etc. Wear bright colors. |

Health / Re: Was Goldie's Death Caused By A Pulmonary Embolism? by litgirl22: 3:12pm On Feb 15, 2013 |
The cause of her death may not have been pulmonary embolism from flying. She looked ill from the grammy pics. Pale and ghostlike. Let's not jump into conclusions with this one because there may be more to it than "sudden death." |

RIP to her. I noticed...she was looking rather pale in pictures from the last few days and I wondered if she was unwell. Sad. |

The sentiment of other Africans towards Nigerians is a mix of hatred, competitiveness and sometimes, grudging respect. |
