PoliticsRe: Withdrawing Police Escorts From VIPs Is Tinubu's Boldest Security Move Yet by Litmus: 6:52pm On Nov 27, 2025
They should establish state policing, and the presidency ought to give far greater weight to the Death Penalty for kidnapping, if it is now law. To convey its full gravity and leave citizens in no doubt about its seriousness or enforcement, the president should address it directly in a national broadcast.

TravelRe: Africa's Most Visited Countries (2024) by Litmus: 2:56pm On Nov 25, 2025
seunmsg:
The citizens of those countries don’t go about demarketing their countries. Nigerians are always on social media always promoting negativity about the country. So, why should tourists want to visit Nigeria?
True. And the result of their very deliberate effort to demarket Nigeria is what they then post with flourish and aplomb on Nairaland, swelling with pride as though they’ve achieved something grand.

Their current mission online is to discourage people from coming to Nigeria for Detty December, fighting tooth and nail to divert them to Ghana instead.

I’ll never tire of saying this: those who are Nigerians, who hold power, and who genuinely love the country, must find a way to identify true Nigerians. I am convinced that many people in positions of influence—both in government and on social media—whom Nigerians assume to be fellow citizens are not Nigerians at all. Nigeria is crowded with foreigners in corridors of power and in online spaces, masquerading as Nigerians. They are not Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: Jungle Justice: The Hypocrisy Of The Southern Nigerians By Salihu Tanko Yakasai by Litmus: 12:43pm On Nov 24, 2025
Noisy Nigerians online condemn Nigeria because they have a mindset that view things in the way epitomised by his comment: "Everywhere you look in this country, you can see rot in the system."

I'm optimistic about Nigeria because to me, Nigeria cannot be described as having a decaying system, since no real system was ever established in the first place.

PoliticsRe: Italian PM, Meloni condemns attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria by Litmus: 10:22am On Nov 22, 2025
If Trump cared even one iota about those supposedly being killed in Northern Nigeria, he would have communicated his concerns to the Nigerian government in terms of what he could do to assist—not by pointing fingers and talking down to Nigeria in a way that signals to the entire world that he is proudly embracing the racist trope of colonial paternalism. That ought to outrage any reasonably aware black person. Instead, shamefully, many Africans responded in the very manner that generations of emancipation and anti-racism movements fought to deny our ancestors ever behaved, which was behaved childishly because they had the accumen of children. Here Nigerians are Calling and begging America to “rescue” us and “teach our leaders a lesson.”

When I’ve argued in the past that one of Africa’s main obstacles to development is the psychological ownership of African youths by the West, this reaction to Trump is a perfect example.

African youths are not citizens of Africa; they are citizens of the West trapped in Africa—awaiting signals from the West on when to attack, protest, or destroy whatever the West wants destroyed.
PoliticsRe: Italian PM, Meloni condemns attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria by Litmus: 9:45am On Nov 22, 2025
Principled Nigerians should take note and never forget this: there are three groups happy about the so-called Christian killings in the North. These are 1) Trump's America administration; 2) Forces of the Nigeria Opposition politics and the terrorists carrying out the deed. None of these 3 parties care about those being killed, whatever thire faith, age, class or gender.

PoliticsRe: Niger Govt Confirms Kidnap Of Students In Agwara, Blames School by Litmus: 3:24pm On Nov 21, 2025
I love how Northern youths were quick to protest en masse over—was it fuel subsidy?—even to the extent of waving Niger flags, yet they can’t protest over the abductions of school children by Organised Political opposition and its artificial "insecurity-is-caused- by-bad-government", wing.
PoliticsRe: Bandits Attack Catholic School In Niger State, Kidnap Many Students by Litmus: 3:00pm On Nov 21, 2025
Politicised and weaponised insecurity. And the more idiots shout online about how finished Nigeria is, the more this affected insecurity will increase because the negative news, the shouting online, the calling of America to come take everything, the wailing, shrinking and shaming of Nigeria at the UN, on CNN, on Al-Jazeera, on Piers Morgan, at Trump MAGA rallies, on British Parliament Television is EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT!!

If ordinary Nigerians want to help people facing insecurities in the NE, the least harm you can do is shut up about it online. Very counterintuitive, but the best thing you can do for them. If you keep shouting online you're part of the problem.

Nigeria isn't finished; Nigeria cannot be finished...
Whether you choose to believe it or not, the future of Nigeria is quite promising; this may be the primary reason Nigeria is under scrutiny (and not Sudan, Niger, Ethiopia, or Cameroon, which have endured ongoing conflict for many years.

Let us all express gratitude for having a president who cares and thoughtfully considers actions before proceeding. I am assured that this matter will be addressed effectively and efficiently; Nigeria will not become another Iraq or Libya.
We are Nigerians, guys! Stay focused!
Very true. However Nigeria needs to do opposition politics differently or the opposition won't have a country remaing for elections let alone to govern.

Trump’s Comments Fuelled Renewed Attacks By Violent Groups — Akume
Exposition in the key of Would've.

Don't know if "Trump’s Comments Fuelled Renewed Attacks in Nigeria By Violent Groups," but it would've been surprising if it didn't. Whether the outcome of an American expedition in Nigeria would've been existential is one question; I, however, have no doubt many forces believe so, and these people would've invested in renewed and redoubled attacks in Nigeria in the hope of drawing in America.
PoliticsObvious Strategy: State Police by Litmus(op):
It seems that since Trump’s warning to Nigeria over alleged Christian pogroms, attacks by insecurity peddlers have intensified. Everyone has a theory about why this is happening — from claims of foreign-backed terror sponsorship to suspicions that Northern elites are trying to undermine Tinubu’s government, much as was said to have happened during Jonathan’s time.

Whatever the cause, it appears to me that now is the moment to implement State Police. At the very least, the disruptive transition process would buy Tinubu some time.

Let the States take more responsibility, be more accountable for thire issues and incompetences.

Below is Chatgbt provided benefits:

1. Localised intelligence gathering:
State-level forces are better positioned to understand the terrain, the culture, and the communities they serve. This allows quicker detection of suspicious activities and more effective prevention of attacks.

2. Faster response to emergencies:
Locally controlled policing reduces the delays caused by federal bureaucracy, enabling quicker intervention in crises such as kidnappings, banditry, or communal clashes.

3. Accountability and transparency:
With policing brought closer to the communities, citizens can demand higher standards of conduct and performance. Governors can be held directly responsible for security outcomes in their states.

4. Tailored security strategies:
What works in Lagos won’t work in Zamfara, and what applies in Kano may be ineffective in Bayelsa. State Police allows each region to design strategies that reflect its unique realities rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all federal approach.

5. Reduced strain on federal resources:
The Nigerian Police Force is overstretched. State-level units can share the burden, freeing federal forces to focus on national-level threats, border control, and counterterrorism.

6. Economic benefits:
Improved local security boosts investor confidence, encourages domestic business growth, and stimulates job creation.

7. Strengthened community trust:
Officers drawn from the same locality are more likely to gain trust and cooperation from residents, making crime reporting and conflict resolution more effective.

In short, State Police is not just a political move — it is a practical step toward a more secure, responsive, and accountable Nigeria.
TravelRe: JAPA: Scott Bolshevik Mocks Nigerians by Litmus: 10:40am On Nov 16, 2025
Blame party politics for this shamelessness. Party politics in the form of Opposition culture has been unfortunately very effective in Nigeria. Unfortunate because Nigeria practices a primitive, immoral form of opposition activism who's result has been the adlining of masses of Nigerians.

The celebrating and jubilating that the world observes of Nigerians isn't due to adverse conditions in Nigeria inversely proportional to the celebrating of abroad, but one due to the brain washing of Nigerians by Opposition Culture that seeks to cohers Nigerians into turning every aspect of thire lives into a sort of political attack against whatever party man is leading the Nation. Opposition has gotten masses of Nigerians fighting thire battles for them. So, jumping up and down in Heathrow airport is really about saying the government in power isn't good, and not really about the true condition of Nigeria.

The incredibley effective thing that Opposition politics culture of Nigeria did was to subliminally brainwash this type of dumb Nigerians, celebrating-aboad, believe that they are really happy to be leaving suffering behind and not about what it really is, which is the dopting of the Opposition politics battle against the prevailing government in power.

If you're a Nigerian involved in collaborative endeavours with none-Nigerian Africans, South Asian and to a lesser extent with Europeans , watch your back. Also if you're politically active on the side of the left against prominent Western right wing figures, watch your computer and own no porn, or even simple racy materials or you're in grave danger. Even your own family photos on the beach or swimming pools, get rid of them.

Maybe some of those who protested in America yesterday against military intervention in Nigeria are amongst those whose visas are revoked.
Let them come and enjoy Nigeria. God bless Trump
Trump doesn't discern one black from the other so he's just as likely to revoke the visa of the treacherous and moronic Nigerians who support him and his treats against Nigeria. After all Hispanics were some of his most vocal supporters before the last election.ji
PoliticsLetter To Tinubu by Litmus(op):
Yakubu Gowon Crescent, The Three Arms Zone, Asokoro, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.

Dear Mr President,

RE: INVITATION TO TRUMP ATTEND WHITE HOUSE.

When visiting the White House, bring a Yoruba translator. Speak in your native language will undermine his power games. It will also subtly implies Trump speaks gobbledygook as you Translator translates to you Trumps words. Do not, by speaking English, over-honour a dishonourable figure who twists formal negotiations—where mutual respect should prevail—into interrogations meant to belittle you and stage a master–servant dynamic before the world. You are the leader of the Black world. Speaking your own language preserves dignity, reclaims a modicum of power, limits humiliation, and upholds Nigeria’s honour.

P.S

Do not be intimidated, the current US president runs a fascial administration. They have big guns, yes, but have small brains.

No she won't ( Nigeria be destroyed by God I mean) don't hang around god's neck your own prayers and wishes . America has spilled more innocent blood than Nigeria has or would at the current rate even another 100 years.

If there's a God, Nigeria is the last country in the world it would destroy due to contrived human mass deaths. Don't take my word, study history.

For me the opposite is the cae. I've a more scientific based way of seeing things but in terms of these mystical or metaphysical side thoughts, I've noticed that nations that mock Nigeria, wish Nigeria bad and hate Nigerians aways seem to end badly or Nigeria out perform them heavily internationally, from Libya, Sudan, Tanzania, Ghana to America.

If such magical stuff exists, then it seems that the ancestors that perished in the middle passage protect Nigeria. America is more likely to collapse on the matter of Nigeria than the other way around. Mark my words.
