Sports / Re: Team Nigeria Leaves Paris2024 Olympics Without A Medal by Litmus: 3:56pm On Aug 10
Nigeria made progress in one area of olympics that was unfortunately overshadowed by the negatives. Nigeria expanded her sports portfolio to include track cycling and river sports.

We need to continue. We need to increase the number of sports that we take part in the Olympics and which additionally offers grater opportunities for young people in Nigeria due to verity of choices. You never know were your talent lies. Not everyone is gifted in track and filed sports. An Archery Guru may reside within, unbeknownst to you.

We also need to improve the standard of local athletes so that, come Trials for selection to participate in world sorts completion, they are able to be at least as competitive as foreign based athletes.

Sports / Re: Paris2024: Nigeria Disqualified From 4x400m Relay Final Over Lane Violation by Litmus: 1:57pm On Aug 09
If those manipulating Nigerians from abroad to solely concentrate bugeyed on Nigeria officials at the Olympics weren't so good at it, Nigerians would not be so blinded to the odd occurrence happening to Nigeria athletes at this Olympics.

Much is off about this Olympics and require the Nigeria state dedicating some time to organising an official enquiries into every aspect of want happened or is going on.
Sports / Re: Paris2024: Nigeria Disqualified From 4x400m Relay Final Over Lane Violation by Litmus: 1:48pm On Aug 09
They hope that, Nigeria failing woefully at the Olympics will exacerbate the disenchantment with life that is partly responsible for driving the anti-establishment feeling causing revolutionary murmurs and political protests.

Tobi Amusan has also missed out from the women 100m hurdles final.

Someone / Something must be really against Nigeria getting a medal.

France probably, they dislike Nigeria's great fighting and independent spirits for highlighting backwardness of thire West Africa dependants. In whichever ways Nigerians love to condemn themselves and cuss themselves for everything Nigeria, the world outside Nigeria are not decivied nor blinded to the excellent and exceptional qualities of Nigerians. Ultimately, believe or not, Nigeria's excellence and relative advancement in being innovative, forward thinking and capable, was the catalyst for the movement that finally pushed Mali, Burkina and Niger to rebel from French control.

Nigerians seem to hate and attack the corruption connected with public servants and thire wider associates in the political realm but love and defend the corruption connected with themselves and thire wider associations in the religious realm. undecided

Poland is anti-Russian, there is no way Polish people will lift the flag of Russia

However, is it a crime anywhere in the constitution of Nigeria to protest with the flag of Russia? If some someone is calling on Russia to intervene in Nigeria, arrest them for that if any law permits, but you don't arrest people for displaying the Russian flag, privately or publicly

I think everyone already knows by now that these Polish citizens were arrested "for show".

So why Polish Students?
Religion / Re: Verydarkman Storms Disability Home, Tests Prophet Jeremiah’s Miracle Water by Litmus: 11:31am On Aug 09
I'm only recently hearing of this Darkman fella, and so far he seems like just the type of person whose examples in looking for evidence Nigeria youths should emulate.

BTW

Tobi Amusun didn't qualify for the hurdles final. Better luck next time.

Blacks should be strong, athletic and tough!

And then the most populous Black nation on mother Earth cannot excel in physical activities!!

Tomorrow we will open mouth waaaaaa

And be claiming giant of Africa.

I'm sure this type of continuous cussing, and nagging, and insulting of Nigeria fills Nigeria athletes over in Paris with great confidence. I'm sure It helps imbue them with the little confidence they need to do just a little beter than they otherwise might have given whatever unfortunate circumstances you believe they endured before going to Paris.

I'm sure you belly aching is not an additional burden on whatever they are bearing as Nigerians.

sIfioksq:
It’s amusing how some folks think storming a leader’s house will bring about change. This is just another display of misplaced energy and desperation. Instead of constructive dialogue, they resort to chaos. What a way to show how far we’ve fallen!

Something deeper than this is taking place. Politicised jealousy, lowest form of rebellious thinking that I thought Nigerians were beyond. No nation with jealous citizens ever progresses or contributes to humanity. They never look beyond what others have, never look forward only behind. When the poor masses make the wealthy of thire society the fault of thire suffering, the nation dies. Those online working to place this ugly dieses in the Herts of Nigerians know what they are doing. Lack of jealousy is what made Nigerians greater than other Africans. You instil jealousy in the hearts of people, you arrive at a blame culture where people never take responsibility for thire own actions or failures. They no longer become strivers.

The wealthy can live elsewhere. Dangote could live happily in the Bahamas.

Nigerian Military Flags, Not Russian Flags By Farooq Kperogi

Does this mean the military do not know their flag?

Context: military men have been on Viewing Media warning the public about the consequences of waving foreign flags in crisis situation such as that in Kano. Treasonable offence punishable by death, they stated.

Nigerian may go some way towards frustrating the cartels by turning to Electric vehicles. China is being weighted down by surplus EVs.And before you frustrate yourself, when you sneer about Nigeria's Electricity infrastructure, go out there and make the effort, if you can afford EVs , you'll make it work. Try. The world turns, your time may be here.

Government Imposes 24 Hour Curfew On Kaduna And Zaria Cities

Rolling out the Curfew, huh, lol. Perhaps the mistake the Government made was in actually believing that the people were hungry. One day, two days, at most, hungry people would be depleted, too exhausted to carry on. Government didn't know hunger means something different in Nigeria than in the rest of the world. grin

Hungry Nigerians gonna run up and down for ten days grin Scientists are wasting time trying to wring energy out of insipid cold water fission when Nigerians are bristling with miraculous energy from starvation.
Crime / Re: Man Arrested In Kano For Flying Russian Flag, Calling For Anarchy by Litmus: 3:35pm On Aug 05
See, yet another reason why I keep repeating that open borders and integrated Africa ideals is no good for Nigeria?

We now have either people infiltrating Nigeria from Niger Republic, through our open borders, waving Russian flags on Nigeria soil calling for military coupe In Nigeria because they came from a failed state and want Nigeria to be as rubbish as thire country OR we have stupid Nigerians that, having studied failed states like Mali, Niger Republic and Burkina fasso, saying, "Yeah, Niger Republic, Mali and Burkina Fasso" is what we want to be like. undecided 'They are our role models in the spirit of One Africa!!!'

Igbos n fanning chaos

Igbos told us they ain't interested in protest but na dem Dey find where problem Dey happen for protest

Na dem even Dey talk say problem must happen

Things like the quoted above is why Nigeria needs to monitor or ask for help in monitoring Social Media. Nigeria needs to find out the Troll Houses in Africa, hunt people employed in such places, arrest and prosecute them. Same needs to be done with domestic trouble makers and ethnic hate stokers hiding online.

Freedom of expression is valuable but not at any expense. People should not be left to feel absolutely invulnerable online.

Listen to yourselves, the major difference here is that the police is not shooting them like they are doing in Nigeria...

No one justifies the looting but what they are looting does it worth the life of a single human being?

And arrests can easily be made instead of killing them...

Believe me, if people in the UK were suffering only half as much as people in Nigeria claim they are suffering, and if thire economic difficulties were half as bad, the UK State would shoot and imprison way more "yobs" than is happening now in Nigeria.

....and there would be no big brother nations pointing fingers at their government with all the implications this would mean for an Africa nation's government in a similar situation.

But I see many singing the praises of the South Sudanese team to high heavens or am I missing something?

They are South Sudan not Nigeria. South Sudan is a young, rising nation, in terms of excelling, so they have not risen high enough to be dragged down by envy and jealousy the way Nigeria is trashed. I've finally decided for myself that after inability to keep records, envy and jealousy are factors mitigating against world wide blacks.

Nigerians with your tough, dense skulls. You the influential ones with half a brain, don't encourage protest because the masses are still too primitive, but una no go hear word! It's all about you and your selfish, political ambitions. If you're all not careful, you won't have a Nation to satisfy your selfish egos and the masses will still suffer. They will end up fighting, destroying thire own land and, in the end, ultimately starve. I mean actual starvation, like Ethiopia in the 80s, not this pretend one you all cooked up in your strategy drawing rooms.

You organiser don't care for the people, you're driven by selfish ambitions, envy, and vindictiveness.

The old Nigeria shall soon set on this kleptocratic gang of thieves, and the new Nigeria shall rise from their destruction, Nigeria is destined for divine greatness. You can be my guest if you choose to go down with these beasts.

As long as you have a multi party political system, the level of corruption and gross incompetence in government will mostly be as great as the opposition can make people believe there exists, regardless of interest rate, Niara strength and amount of food on the table.

..to make matters worst, there's the small issue of Convention. This is when the political party ousted from office employs similar tactics to try and get the next government out of office.
