Nigerian Police Confirm Arrest Of Man Who Tied Up 25-year-old Woman For Alleged Ritual Purposes In Abuja Hotel
What evidence is there to support the claim of Intending to murder for ritualistic purposes? I'm not questioning the existence of the evidence, but rather asking what it consists of beyond the statements of this, kidnapping and confinement, victim ?

Honestly, I have stopped using my private jet since 2 August. And I want to maintain that until we are able to sort out the differentials on the workers in Nigeria and in West Africa
There it is again, Nigeria leaders and wider Africa instead of full commitment to Nigerians alone.

I agree with him, Nigerians - or at least the ones online that claim they are Nigerians - complain altogether too much. On the other hand, everyday Nigerians on the streets of Nigeria do not seem to complain. They seem happier and more hardworking and thrifty than online Nigerians would have the world believe. Nigerians as a moany, naggy, complainy-complainy people seem to be a social media phenomena. It's a kind of politicised complaining. It is an affected Complaining in order to push an agenda.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Proposes Measures To Implement AU's Agenda 2063 (Video) by Litmus:
Why is Nigeria so blasé to either Cameroon opening her Dam or and the devastating affects on Nigerians by the resultant deluge ?

In relation to my thoughts above, this is as if a Dam in Asaba Delta state is yearly depressurised resulting in devastation to vast areas of Warri. We can be none serious because we are one country. This is our approach to Cameroon, Niger Republic, cross border migration, terrorism and so on. We are not Nigeria but Africa while everyone else are Kenyans, South Africans and so on.

After a video I saw in which Ivory Coast people filled a part of Lagos even to the extent of trading with their foreign currency, someone pointed out another video that they watched, two days ago, were an Ireland off Lagos was occupied by Ghanians, they traded in thire own cedi currency and even had thire flag hoisted there undecided

I asked ChatGpt to simplify my earlier contribution and it outputted the following:

The author is expressing skepticism about Nigeria's traditional focus on Africa as a central component of its international policy. They believe that Nigeria should not view Africa as its sphere of influence for two key reasons:

1. Africa's resistance and jealousy:
The author suggests that other African countries are resistant to Nigeria's leadership or influence, driven by feelings of jealousy, making them reluctant to support or cooperate with Nigeria's efforts.

2. Africa's undeserving nature:
The author believes that Africa as a whole does not deserve Nigeria's efforts, likely because of the continent's internal issues or lack of reciprocity in its relationship with Nigeria.

The author argues that Nigeria should focus its resources (energy, capability, and finances) on its own development rather than on trying to influence Africa. However, they express doubt that Nigeria will do this, for two reasons:

Nigeria's leadership:
The author suspects that some of Nigeria's political leaders may not be fully Nigerian, implying that this might explain why the country continues to prioritize Africa over its own needs.

In summary, the author is questioning the value of Nigeria's foreign policy emphasis on Africa and calling for a more inward-looking, Nigeria-first approach.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Proposes Measures To Implement AU's Agenda 2063 (Video) by Litmus: 9:55am On Sep 20, 2024
What is with Nigeria and Africa? I ask because I no longer accept that Africa should or could be Nigeria's orbit of influence in its role as Nigeria's strategic international policy. Firstly, Africa is resistant, revin by the innate jealousy in Africans and secondly Africa is undeserving by the selfsame. Nigeria needs to exert every ounce of energy, capability and finances it has on Nigeria. Unfortunately I doubt Nigeria will , and this applies to my original thoughts, which is not only informed by the reality of Africa as I understand it but my suspicion that a great deal of those at the helm of Nigeria's political power may not be Nigerians or fully Nigerian by origin.

I've not read the article so excuse me.

This is for Nigerians. Be open-minded when you come across news like this from Abroad Don't leap to conclusion because things are not always as it may seem. News of this sort are often twisted since if what occured is relayed as it is, then this may lead to ambiguous feelings. I'll give an example. Let's say immigrants of other races find success in the West be bending the rules for thire particular race and blacks lead by Nigerians wish to do the same for blacks?

This often happens but blacks report Nigerians. The other immigrants of other races do not report and consequently, first by bending the rules and then when established, they become Model minorites. Model minorites that we blacks also admire and insult ourselves for not being like.

Nigerians, in whatever you do abroad, cooperate with your fellow Nigerians do not include blacks from other backgrounds.

My problem is maintenance and availability of parts
EVs do not require as much maintenance as petrol cars. They have regenerative breaking, saving you on break pads. You'll no longer need to spend on Engine Oil, Spark Plugs, Timing Belt/Chain, Exhaust Systems, Transmissions, Fuel Pumps, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Filters, Engine Air Filters,Transmission Fluids etc

EV batteries are now much better. On average, a modern EV's battery will outlast the rest of the car. And, I'm sure Innosen complies with international EV best practices such as massive battery warranties.

Apart from under breath grumbling, how many Benin or Togo ppl were chased away? or beaten ?

that's the diff
we don't blame foreigners because we know whatever issues there may be, it's more of a Nigerian govt issue than them

it will shock u to know we have at the last count, 8 million illegal immigrants in this country

are we making an issue out of it ?
I wouldn't bet against there being more than 8 million.

Nigeria and kobo-wise Niara-foolish approach to Nationhood building. Year in year out Military men fall to Ambush; year in year out, towns and cities submerge under floods; year in year out, militants sack decrepit bungalow style police stations and murder police officers undecided

Nothing is ever done presumably to save money. But it will save Nigeria money in the long run by investing heavily today to fix these things. Disproportionately so, since we lose billions just to save millions. Imagine what we lose merely for reputational reasons alone. Invest in tech that will help military defeat ambushes; invest in dams and lakes to control if not diminish the worst of flooding; invest in square, solid walls and fenced institution type building for the police instead of those triangular roofed village bungalows!

Personally, I'm an EV man; however I'm for any energy system, preferably green, that will free Nigerians and even Nigeria itself from the clutches of the Fossil fuel industry's grip on power.

Nigeria and Nigerians will always be short-changed in anything to do with pan Africa.

This is my fear too. I cannot imagine carrying gas cylinders while traveling. That thing is not to be trusted with the bad roads we have in Nigeria.

If the car was manufactured with a separate compartment for the gas just like PMS, I will consider it safe. Otherwise, it’s no no
Your petrol tank is effectively a cylinder, and a demonstrably worst fire and explosive risk than those CNG cylinders. Some analyst have even pointed out that a high percentage of petrol tanks are situated, dangerously, under passenger seat. CNG tanks, however, are in the boot.
