Dear People,

What will be your reaction if you discovered your husband mistakenly filled his mother's name as the next of Kin, (instead of his wife) in the life  insurance Policy he's undertaking for his wife -(paraventure he dies, )

When confronted, his excuse was that both names begin with same letters so d mistake.
Business / Re: Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) by littlesaint(f): 5:00pm On Nov 01, 2005
Hello to everyone in the house.

TRANSCORP as is fondly called means (Transnational Corporation of Nigeia PLC) is Nigeria's answer to the chaebols of Korea, which used scale economies to pull their country out from  the abyss of the developing nation vicious cycle.

It is the president's attempt to give Nigeria the competitive edge to compete globally so he initiated Transcorp. I think his intention  or goal for bring up this idea is to provide for the nation one Mega firm that can penetrate markets around the world, as well as dominate the local markets in products and services that were previously serviced by foreign firms and also to service mkts that have been completely negleted. while doing this for Nigerians they will be providing its investors with a good return on their investment.

Investors are wealthy nigerians who have and are running their own businesses in the different sectors of the Economy, Like Dangote, Jim Ovia, Odimegwu,Ibru etc. and other foreign investors too. They also placed

I also read that the business model is designed to meet five core revenue areas namely:
(A)  Oil and Gas
(b)  Agriculture and AGRO Allied Business
(c)  International trade
(d)  Power
(e)  Information technology

Unconfirmed report says there is a 6th area which covers Free trade zone/industrial Park, but haven't read about it yet. The papers haven't been on this story for some time now,,  everyone is focused on the refinary and the buying over of d Hotel in Abuja.

I wonder why they didn't include the Medical aspect or shld i say Manufactuing--- [so that pharmaceutical coys will be identified under this) They want foreign investors to sink money and develope the money making areas, negleting the important ones cry.

I think its a good idea by the government to create our own indegenous firms to meet our needs with quality goods and services, but i will mostly appreciate their effort more, if jobs will be created in those areas evenly and not selected few, by tribe or other nigerian factors.
Romance / Re: Cheating. Is Revenge or Retribution the Best Option? by littlesaint(f): 2:51pm On Aug 02, 2005
Twinkledew, wait, wait, wait...... are you implying that Cimonjorr should also do same? As in cheat on her cos she cheated on him? or you are saying if yourguy cheats on you, u will also do same? hhmmmm.....

Anyways, He said she has done it 2 times (if i am not making a mistake) and she has neither denied nor accepted the accussation when confronted with it. Yet you say he should go ahead and forgive, Let me have a re-think... , yes, i agree with you... he can go ahead and forgive afterall, even GOD himself forgives, but forgiving her doesn't mean he has to continue with the relationship right?

Family / Re: My Boss is Toasting Me. Should I tell My Husband? by littlesaint(f): 10:34am On Jul 29, 2005
Hi Cimonjorr, what i meant by sealed lips is not discusiing such with ur partner, and handling the boss in ur own way,.... dealingwith the situation your self.
Family / My Boss is Toasting Me. Should I tell My Husband? by littlesaint(f): 2:59pm On Jul 28, 2005
Disclosing to your Partner that your Boss is 'toasting' you.

Is it wrong or right to inform your husband or partner that your boss (or his best friend) is asking you out?

Not withstanding the fact that he is also married. Or would you rather keep lipsrsealed sealed lips about it and handle it your own way?

HHhhhhmmmm....... this is a difficult decision u know, ....

Why is it that In our society when the man is caught cheating... nothing happens... they say its a man's world" so its normal abi? when the woman is caught cheating.... Everybody says its an abormination!!!! She must pay for it, she must be divorced. U must breakup with her. Yet for the man, they say, u must pray, u must get ur man back, bla, bla bla.

In as much as i cannot stand the act of unfaithfulness, (from both parties) i want to ask some questions here...

Cimonjorr, For how long were u gone for?

Was it a short business trip, or a course, or u went to study abroad, or went seeking greener pastures?

Probable, u left the country for so long a time, and her 'liver' failed her dat her bobo might not show up again or even if he does, maybe with another woman or some other stories.... she will now be left hanging and would have lost out in two ways....

Secondly do u have evidence that she actually did it or its just stories from jealous friends who are interested in having u for themselves?

Hope most of u watch our local Super Story drama series.... there might be a lot of the likes of CARO out there u know.

Please think well before u pursue ur babe o.
Romance / Re: Dating a Married Man: what do Nigerians think? by littlesaint(f): 5:42pm On Jul 14, 2005
Do unto others what u want to be done to u...

If u date a married man, someday, .....someother lady will date ur husband!
If u date a married woman, someday.....Someother Man will date ur wife!!
If u cause sorrow to some other family u can't escape sorrow urself....

Better be right with God and Man. If u are not attracted to any single MAN or WOMAN, go look for a DIVORCEE or a WIDOW/ WIDOWER and be happy in ur territory!

After all, all u want is to have a partner to pay u attention abi?

Romance / Re: Falling In Love On Phone by littlesaint(f): 1:55pm On Jul 14, 2005
Hi,

This is my first contribution to this forum. Although, i have been following ur stories for some time now. There are so many interesting topics that i don't know which to respond to first.

Anyways, i have chosen dis as d first....

Are u refering to falling in love with the person or falling in love with the voice of the person?
If its with the person, hhhmmm.....  i feel love comes with identity...... dats why u have a choice of whom to befriend, whom to love, whom to marry, .... u could just like the person and fall inlove with d person, after u have seen or met (RECOGNITION - APPERANCE) the person.

Anyways, i know some people are day dreamers,... they can imagine all sorts...

But if u meant falling in love with the person's voice.... wao, it happens... It has happened to me several times... infact right now, i am in love with somebody's voice in cool F.M....

I am sure u know whom. tongue
