Actually, the points made concerning other pastors and church folks not living up to calling isn't new, they are but human and so it's understandable.
Am more interested in your questioning the Bible and your current disenchantment.

You see, it takes a lot of courage and sound intellect to question the norm.
When those questions start coming, you know you are on the verge of Reason.
Deep thinking and research lays bare the inadequacies and inconsistencies and lies therein, leading you to a state of lethargy.
More enlightenment brings you to an awareness that religion is a farce and all religions are the same, just for mental control of people - A creation of man.

If your intention is to mock God, kindly desist. Do not mistake His silence & long suffering for foolishness. If it's to mock me, i take no offence. It might be that you didn't understand the allegory i gave. I likened the universe to a machine & God its maker. The fact that the universe exists points to the fact that it was made therefore it has a maker. Do you know the name of the person(s) (not the company) who made the phone you use? What do you know about the people who manufactured the numerous parts that form the components of your phone? Where do they live? Can you tell me their nationality, history, age, weight, marital status and other information? So saying that God is imaginary is like saying that the makers of the phone you use are imaginary & your phone works "randomly".

The real problem is that you can't simply think logically beyond what you have been told about your God. At least my phone has a manufacturing company label which is verifiable...that is logical. If you don't know, there are several books which all claim to have detailed stories as "evidence" of creation of the universe. The story of your God is just one of them.

I know the universe is vast but truly i don't know how vast (i haven't even visited half of the states in Nigeria) but i know that the God i serve created all of them. What we call random is because we don't fully understand how the universe work due to our infinitesimal ability compared to the all knowing Almighty God. Does a machine work randomly? Isn't there a certain mechanism of function? Doesn't it have a maker? Can 1 say because he/she hasn't seen or known the maker of a machine, the machine has no maker? Something cannot come out of nothing. There has to be a source. The universe & all that is in it is too big & complex not to have a maker that created it & sustains it.

From your post, it's clear that your God also has a creator right?

If you only knew how vast the universe is and how totally random things work, you'd know how clueless your God is.

The Sumerian epic does not predate the book of Genesis, it actually predates the time of occurrence of the event according to the Bible.

By implication, the original Sumerian stones detailing the story are older than the biblical genealogies and accounted dates therein.

If the events even occurred, and since a testament of events cannot come before the actual event, except it's taken as prophecy, your Bible is proved and stands proved as fallacy.

your question sounds funny. Read Genesis 1:1 very well. It says in the Beginning......God does not dwell within time because He is Eternal. He began the beginning even before the beginning began. He created the beginning which is time.
