TOPIC: Run For Your Life; Escape To The Mountains!
Scripture: Genesis 19:17 NKJV [17] So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
*Message*
You should be familiar with the story of the destruction of sodom and gomorrah. The land was given to so much corruption and perversion, and they attracted the consequences of their actions - destruction!
However, in the midst of the ongoing evil in the land, Lot and his family decided to turn their back to the societal trend of sinfulness and embrace the paths of God's righteousness despite all odds. For this purpose, when the time of destruction came, he received mercy for salvation, but with the instructions: "Run for your life; Escape to the mountains!"
Today, we live in a very corrupt and perverted generation, whose sinfulness exceeds that of sodom and gomorrah. One thing is certain, this current earth must be purged of its sinfulness, and evil people (dead or alive) must reap the painful rewards of their evil. It is on this note that the word of God is preaching to you, to: "Run for your life; Escape to the mountains!"
Come out from the sinfulness of this generation, and escape to the Rock of Ages - Jesus Christ the Son of God. Embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior and shun all forms of sinfulness. By so doing, you will be saved.

How did we get here? Where the people we smile with in the neighborhood, on the bus, at work are just lynchers waiting for the next victim... They laugh with you today, and burn you up the next minute... In that irate mob, nobody can exercise their conscience of dissent and stand up for the suspected victim, Incase the match is to be lit on an innocent victim. Nope! The thirst for blood and un-aliving is so deep and the anger on the streets is channeled to a fellow common man who (who knows) may have been driven to the point of stealing by the pangs of hunger. While the leaders who pushed us to this animalistic stage kept feeding fat on us. Maybe without justification, this was his first theft and probably a regrettable one?
Well, may we never be in the wrong place at the wrong or right time. May God and our Lord Jesus forgive our sins and accept the victims of our collective dehumanized actions in heaven. Amen!
As we celebrate Easter, let us reflect on what Jesus would have done if he was in that lynching mob crowd. Would he had picked up a stone or would he source for used tire or fuel?.... Let us keep asking our conscience these questions

The recent wave of arrests of several so-called prophets after being exposed as native doctors, witches and ritualists (those using human parts for rituals), which is unprecedented in this nation's history, may have come as a shock to many Nigerians, however not to those of us who have seen it a long time coming and even foretold it here in this forum.
Here my reply to a nairalander sometime in a related thread I shared in 2021.
I already knew at the time that God was in the process of ridding the land of such abominable practices, so it was only a matter of time before the time of those who used humans for rituals was up.
This is the video of one of them that was masquerading as a prophet, Onye Eze Jesus, after he was arrested by security operatives in Anambra state, after being caught in the act by some of the operative who disguised themselves as customers seeking him to do money rituals for them, despite previously claiming to have repented of such since 2022.
It's funny how you imagine there is a divine purge ongoing and soon every deceitful pastor will be revealed. I laugh at your folly. You will keep wishing this is the case while those who are smart in their deceitful ways continue to reap their fellow humans of their finances and mental freedom. God is patient and can wait till judgment day to carry out his retribution. Not every evil is met with retribution in this temporal space, called earth.

I really don't trust condemnations or commendations from the West any longer. There is always something covertly sinister about their relations and interaction with Africa. I will always take their utterances with wisdom. And not jump to celebrate this kind.

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 general elections, Omoyele Sowore, has condemned the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
Speaking during an interview on News Central TV, Sowore described Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, and President Bola Tinubu as “the three most dangerous persons in Nigeria.”
He criticized the declaration of emergency, calling it an attempt to sacrifice the entire state structure.
“The declaration of emergency was purely an attempt to sacrifice an entire state structure — not the first, but one of the first that is more brazen. In this case, they want Wike to control one of Nigeria’s richest states, Rivers,” Sowore said.
Sowore further explained the situation, stating that everything had been leading to this moment since Siminalayi Fubara was appointed as governor.
“So everything has been pointing to that process ever since Fubara was appointed—or selected, whichever way you want to put it,” he added.
According to SaharaReporters, he alleged that Wike had to involve President Tinubu in order to take control of the state from Fubara.
“It got to a point where Wike had to reach Tinubu, who is his principal in this case, to move in and take the state from Fubara so they can have it for themselves. That’s what they executed,” Sowore remarked.
Sowore also pointed out the roles of the three individuals—Wike, Akpabio, and Tinubu—in this political maneuvering.
“There are three individuals we must watch out for: the FCT Minister, that is Nyesom Wike; the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio; and Nigeria’s president himself, Bola Tinubu. These are guys that are very dangerous. They are dangerous because they have lived a life of crime and impunity — whichever way you want to call it — and got away with it,” Sowore said.
He claimed that these figures had risen to power through criminality without facing repercussions.
“The reason why these guys are different from every dangerous person you have ever met in your life is that they have risen through the ranks of crime and impunity and gotten to the top without consequences. That’s what you are seeing them doing now,” he added.
Sowore also predicted that the Nigerian National Assembly would support the state of emergency.
“This morning, I was invited to a media interview by Channels TV, and I did predict that the Nigerian National Assembly would not do anything — they would endorse Bola Tinubu’s state of emergency. They are all in on this, and that’s why Nigerians must understand that there is no way out. They gang up against us; we must gang up against them too,” Sowore concluded.

Before you are approved to work as an assistant native doctor in any shrine, you must have a masters degree from a reputable witchcraft/traditional institution with other stringent requirements including clean character, you can't just go and do whatever you like and get away with it. 5. Existing religious institutions and preachers should be given one year to meet these requirements or close down.
Even foreign guest preachers invited to preach or foreigners who want to open any religious organization must meet these requirements with more scrutiny.
This will not in anyway infringe on anyone's right to worship. It will not work against the existing constitutional rights to association or worship rather it will strengthen it.
If there are requirements to become a banker, lawyer, doctor and all that, they should be requirements to become a cleric.
They actions of the clerics, priests and pastors have direct impacts on men, women, youths, families and the society at large and thus should not be left for anything that goes, as it is right now.
Note: I'm a born again Christian but what we have witnessed in recent years calls for check and balances in these religious institutions.
