Well frankly here is my conviction

While the original of a felicitation might not be divine the end point is what counts.

His origins was from the river to all who where there when he was found his end was saviour of Israel..

Think of this In context of a Nigerian setting, any child found Ina basket would be burned alive as a witch by Christians here , no one cares about his end..

My point is origins are relative to ones perspective... You just can't simply be rigid and say Christmas may have started as a pagya holiday by certain research, but today it represents one of the most joyful seasons I'm the whole world,a season where people give gifts to those in need more than ever, countries show love to others , people are happy , if that's what a pagan holiday represents to the whole world then maybe we need more of them.

Now to say celebrating a child's birthday is paganism is down right narcissistic. i wont be part of any group that robs children of such child like euphoria and joy just to justify a repressive dogma.

Joy is meant to be fluid and unburdened, natural and organic not structured

This is what the Jehovah witnesses lack, fluid flexible joy .. this is why despite reading far with then I just couldn't join..

I have had numerous discussions with witnesses and understand the perspective but I still disagree with certain things

Now where is it said in the Bible that you should take cocaine but or smoke weed or change your gender but as a well adjusted adult in society one is meant to know what's not right ...

You can't live your life based on the doctrines 100% because somethings are just plain common sense

I know now where does it say celebrate birthdays or marriage anniversary but I want to celebrate my kids birthday when i have a child in future

So I don't need to ask you anything because I have sat and discussed with witnesses over a 100 different occasions whenever they come knocking infact I have close friends who are witnesses but I just don't agree with certain things

Just as I don't agree that our Lord Jesus came to die for mankind's sins that to me is plain suicide and contradictory to alot in the Bible

I believe he came to show us the way to live but the devil cut short his mission by murder using humans to betray and murder him

Hence the prayer at the point of his death father forgive them for they know not what they do..

I went to a birthday party of one of my close friends, I had three friends and we are like clique.
During the party I got drunk and the guy that took us to the party in his car took advantage of my drunken state and had sex with me and make it look like it is consensual. During the act I know what was happening but was too weak and blurred. I didn't know there was a video recording of the act. When I woke up the guy was no where to be found so I kept it to myself.

Blackmail...

When my guy found out that I cheated on him, he was furious. I denied it initially but when he showed me the sex clip I admitted it but defended myself on the ground that it was rape and not consensual. I summon courage and asked him how did he come up with the sex tape but that he would not answer to. He left that moment and I start feeling that he knows something about the tape and wants to blackmail.

Threat...

He showed up one day at my hostel and threaten to leak the tape online. I begged him profusely not to do that but he said my plea and tears are waste of time. That he will let everyone know the kind of loose lady I am for betraying and cheating on him. That I will regret the day I met him. That I doesn't deserve his love.

Currently...

He is yet to release the clip but may actually do that with what is happening to the Babcock ex student.

What should I do to stop him before he destroys me.

I am not one but I can tell you Jehovah's witnesses are the most disciplined,kind, respectful and warmest version of Christianity you can find in this world ..

They are devoid of all the falsehood you find in winners, or redeemed or Christ embassy or chosen etc

Jehovah's witnesses just make you feel at peace with them even as a none member

I feel they are the closest a human can come to being Christ like

The only reason I never joined.them is I just can't agree on not giving blood transfusion or celebrating birthdays
