Seyi makinde seems not to be vain like others. So real and focused on set goals. He stopped payment of N3,000 in schools and have given 10% of Oyo State total budget to education...

I was certain about this man since I listened to his inaugural speech. I know politicians will not like him because they might not be able to enrich themselves that much but I support him 100%.

When you are good, you are good abeg.
I have always believed in this gentleman

He will achieve great things indeed

Governors in the south south ,south east , north and middle belt should learn what good governance is

Oyo State truly setting the pace. This is the real "oyato" governor! God grant him more wisdom and keep the professional detractors away from him. Amen

Having quite a number of young and focused people in governance in the State is indeed heartwarming. It's time to groom our future leaders instead of recycling old men.
Well said

Solution to Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa.

1.Expel South African Ambassador.

2.Recall Nigeria High commissioner to South Africa.

3.Stop repatriation of profits/ Funds to South Africa by MTN,STANBIC, SHOPRITE and other South African business concern in Nigeria.

4..suspend landing right granted South Africa Airways to Lagos and Abuja.

5.Stop all importations coming from South Africa.

6.suspend consular/immigration service's to all South Africans living in Nigeria.

I can bet with my life that Ramaphosa or whatever their President is called will be here within one week and when he comes make him sign a treaty before all those are restored.

Nigeria need to start wielding that super power,we are not big for nothing,we have all it takes to deal with countries like theirs.
Zambia,Congo, Malawi and Zimbabwe did the same yesterday by cutting the ties with the so call South Africa.
I agree with this

Unfortunately it seems the government officials in Nigeria lack the cerebral dexterity to think up strategic solutions like this

This matter should be adequately look into and judgement should be carried out.

ENOUGH is truly ENOUGH!
How can you say this ?

Do you even know the person of the late chief ?

He was an excellent selfless politician who really had his people's best interest at heart

That man remains a reference point for politicians in that state

I am guessing you just commented for the sake of it

Na see finish dey cause all this kain rubbish. South African government don see Nigerian government finish, chai! That's why it's very good to come from a country where the government values its citizens and a country with a very strong military. If you try this with Americans, by now the US military will already be on ground to defend their own.
That's too far a comparison.. you can't try this with Egypt or even South Africa

It's sad indeed

He responded with alot of words but ended up saying nothing

Silence is consent Mr tuface!

Evil thrives when people keep silent

If you don't have the military might to back threats then trade sanctions is the way to go.. hut the government won't act when so called celebrities or influencers keep silent that I believe is the point Mr hush was trying to make .

Anyways he never condemned the benue massacres some years ago who nothing to be expected

Do you know why SA can confidently do the sh*t they do, it's because they've seen a country so divided among themselves internally that they can barely stay united and speak with one voice against foreign attacks.
And to think some retards here on nairaland are saying the Nigerians there are just from a particular tribe, shows how low we've gone as a country. As a matter of fact, Nigeria can no longer be called a country if a fellow countryman can say sh*t about his own countryman in the full view of other nationals.
Nigeria will continue to be volatile to foreign attacks in other countries if we continue to be disunited. The world is watching, let the retards, tribalists and olodos take note of that
Exactly

I try to say this repeatedly but to no avail.. I feel for those who will be trapped in Nigeria when the crisis starts but my joy is the laws of mother nature are perfect

It is these very tribalists who will be trapped there when crisis begins

Don't be surprised some.polictians intend using this to enrich themselves

A nation where the people seek personal gain and not the growth of the said country is none existent.

For even in an SME staff seek the growth of the company so their wages are secured

But when you have a country, where the people don't care then the end is nigh unfortunately

Cheers
