Voltron of the Arts

No be talk, we did it. Most of my Maths courses were revised in one week max, some in one night. My Partial Differential Equations exam was sewn up from scratch in 3 days with 96% pass mark, you dey talk about social sciences wey we go use 2 hours memorise everything for the whole semester.

In accounting exams, we had Enterprise, Management and Financial pillars. Never spent more than one overnight session on Enterprise and Management modules, na Financial modules we dey spend like 3 days on.

I have a friend who is now in Angola who studied tourism degree. I did every single one of his coursework and had him on course for 1st class, the nugga fvcked it up back to 2.2 with his performance in exams. Funny enough he is the nigga I am always arguing with about Ibrahima Traore, bloody art student

Don't compare memorisation skills with science students please. Niggas done see blood for eye. I am a particularly lazy student who only gears up in exam week, have done that my whole life. Accounting exams especially the non-numeric ones were like walk in the Park after tackling heavy Maths exams up to Masters level at one or few days notice. Na Kola nut and redbull we dey use write Maths exam, zero sleep the night before having left revision till last minute. But if na arts course, we will sleep like baby, wake up 5 am, read for 2 hours and pass exam without attending one lesson all semester. I am speaking from experience because my degree was 3/4 Maths, 1/4 Economics. Never attended Economics lessons because they clashed with my Maths modules and were too easy to catch up on.
Brother, what you did was basic classes for subjective courses.
When you begin to get into the advanced stage that requires you to have a proper foundation then you'll tell me how you can pass the exams by reading under a week.
There is nobody that is that smart unless you have a photographic memory or genius level intellect and you still need alot of studying to pass either a science or art course.

See mumu argument "A final year physicist will pass the course of a final year political science if he reads it in one week" you think that volume of course load is for fancy. The way you go fail ehn.

You are gonna fail so bad

Wetin you dey yarn sef?

Is there anywhere class A students gravitate more toward Arts than Sciences?

Na Rivers State I dey, which one be Delta. And no be only una get school

So you are telling me that in Delta where Oil industry is the main game in town, sharp students will rather gravitate towards Arts than Science/Engineering that pays in oil industry. Maybe Delta boys dull, not Rivers boys
When did oil work in Delta State become a major reason to be in science class?
Which conversation do you think we were having in secondary school that our interest for joining science class was to work in O&G.
This is why I said you don't know beyond your immediate environment and you are basing that as general knowledge.

I think the question should be how the greatest sociologist or management student would fare taking elite science exams, even with preparation.

There's a reason you almost never have science/management students doing cross-over into sciences while the reverse is the case.
How are you pulling imaginary conclusions like "you almost never have" out of thin air?
Ahn ahn

Speak for yourself. We know how far on average

E get reason why those in class A from JSS 1-3 ended up as Science students in Senior secondary while those in classes B-D in Junior secondary starting forming Art student in Senior Secondary

I don't know how your school separated students on ability but we know ourselves right from JSS 1 based on class A to D system
In which secondary school was this law?
And before you start capping, I am a science student.

So how many secondary schools did you attend in Delta State to deduce that majority of the class A students where in science class?
Because unlike you, my family owned a secondary school in warri and I am pretty sure I have better understanding of how education works than you.

So how you take come to this conclusion?

A science student will smash Government and all those other nonsense courses with one day revision or just general knowledge picked up from radio, TV or suya wrappers.

As an example, I smashed A in GCSE Geography without opening book one day. Just from general knowledge and simple classroom attendance without any revision. Same with English GCSE. I mixed up the exam date, received a phone call from the Headteacher who said I haven't arrived for exam and he is sending an A Level student to my house to pick me up. Luckily my house was 5 mins drive from school. I arrived 30 mins late for a 2 hour exam, still finished 30 mins early and collected B with zero revision. Mind you till today I don't know difference between pronoun, adjective and adverb. I just know how words fit together. Same thing for English literature which I sparked with zero revision. The reading of the books in class was enough. The only subjects I studied for were Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and I sparked everything except French where I collected C.

There is nothing like all rounder. You only have science students who can do non-STEM courses with their eyes closed, while non-STEM students go dey Cho Cho Cho. Even with non-STEM, the lawyers were great science students who only specialised toward law after finishing STEM at secondary school level to a high level
Lmao.. Just talking out of your old yansh.

Because the curriculum na wetin you fit consume in 1 week.

You think say na Hollywood be this?
You go fail wetin nor good

Generally, yea, but sometimes it depends on the exam and the format of the exam.

Exams that involve explanation would be difficult without some form of preparation, but for multiple choice exams, even without preparation, you can find some courses quite relatable and do fairly okay, and I believe that's what Ihebu meant.
Lmaoooo

If you are the greatest physicist in the world, you will fail a nebosh IGC exam if you don't prepare.

This is a simple safety course that involves just writing and no calculation.
The thing with courses that involve just writing is that if you don't study, you'll find yourself repeating answers because the questions look very similar.

I mentioned it back then that immediately Tinubu sacked Emefiele , Mele Kyari’s sack should’ve followed immediately. There was no justification for Kyari to have kept his job till 2025.

The Port Harcourt refinery restart date was postponed for almost 7 times if I am not mistaken . Yet, today we are told the plant is barely operating at 40% capacity sef .

Private operators in the oil and gas sector do Turnaround Maintenances as at when due and they carryon after its successful completion . They import parts and spares months before commencement of any proposed TAM, they have contractors mobilized as at when due , they have project managers working around the clock and deadline after deadline met . Plans are made , KPIs measured , strategies implemented, etc. There are consequences for actions and inactions .

But u will see NNPC failing over and over again and some people because of partisan politics will be defending their failure . Shior !
Lmao.. Why sack someone when you can first make money and then push all the blame on him ehn.
Because I hope apc isn't planning to claim Tinubu had no idea what was happening.
That would be worse because you allowed an incompetent buffon lose 2 billion dollars when you could have easily stopped it when you entered.

See u going philosophical after NNPC pour spit for ur face . 😂

You appointed urself NNPC spokesperson making outrageous claim that the refinery was delayed by audio saboteurs when almost everybody knows NNPC’s major issue is inefficiency in their workforce and systemic issues .

Some of u just cap gibberish to defend what u don’t know .

For your information , I have been privileged to work in an organization that has done successful Turnaround Maintenances ; the same TAM NNPC spends hundreds of millions of dollars on and always have nothing to show for . I may not be a technical/engineering person but I have seen TAMs done in the private sector ; not the yeye waste of our common resources NNPC always do without result .

You think this is me reveling in merriment ? No this is me telling u that u actually didn’t have an inkling about what was happening in NNPC But u were sticking ur neck out for them claiming imaginary saboteurs . Let private sector investors handle the refinery and see if it won’t work .
We did TAM in EGTL escravos that shares the same fence with nnpc and it took a year for that project to be completed. Just 1 year and everything was back to normal.
See ehn, some people nor suppose dey see day break with the kind of evil they support

Lmao.. Ibime and GloriousGbola, if you like cry blood.
Nothing will justify you choosing Buhari over GEJ.

Not history and most definitely not their tenures when you look back.

By the end of buhari's tenure, people consoled themselves that atleast nobody can be as bad as he was. That's how bad it was.

Do I have to talk about how buhari and apc stole oil from the source (no democratic president had robbed us to the point production dropped to 1.3m bpd)
I won't even talk about inflation
Nor unemployment
The debt that buhari threw us in especially with the borrowing of 40trillion naira to carry out projects that generate no money.

Should we talk about the Siemens power deal that tinubu sef has also messed up.

Our economy under GEJ was growing at the same rate as china's.
GEJ was no Saint but compared to buhari, he was Jesus Christ.
Don't blame anyone that you were both hoodwinked to pick a dumb buhari over GEJ by Lagos media. I can understand an uneducated man but you Ibime.. Tueh.
But oh well na Wole Soyinka dey support tinubu so shit happens 😁
