Those core North votes tend to coalesce around the sentiments of its leaders, and as long as Peter Obi is running BAT would still need their blessing.

Peter Obi remains a major force in the South and Middle-Belt states and it doesn't matter whether BAT converts all the governors in these states to APC. As long as the people of the Southern and Middle-Belt states are prepared to come out to vote en-masse, and are ready to stand behind their votes, BAT stands no chance.

I went to a private primary school, yet I can speak Yoruba well as we weren't restricted to English at home.

Though we are still at loggerheads about sending the kids back home for their secondary education, my wife is not against speaking Yoruba to them as she has started learning fast too.

Away from Obidients vs Batists banter, things are really tough in this country at the moment. All those nonsense audio achievements the current government's loyalists are posting online have no single effect on the quality of life of the common man on the street. People are seriously losing it.

I get amused when I see them posting about inflation going down online yet the prices of goods and services keeps going up in the market. There's hardly no week I don't have reason to buy one or two things in the local mini stores and the prices of items don't just stay stable rather keeps increasing.

It's difficult to encourage people not to lose hope when they can hardly feed themselves at least once a day without resorting to begging or borrowing. Even if u are comfortable as an individual, u will get frustrated with the number of people making demands on u to help them with "at all at all" to feed themselves almost on a weekly basis.

I think people (like this deceased) are just giving up silently and further putting their families into anguish by committing suicide.

This is why apc will win elections.
