Godx: This can be applied to everyone. What stops someone that has been living comfortably with 5million Naira monthly from saying the same thing. If the debate was 5million and someone says he is suffering with that amount will you agree with that person. That's where cutting your coat to your size comes into play. If someone is earning 200k and he has to cut his coat currently, is it because the person is wasteful or because that 200k is no longer enough to sustain them due to price increase |

izzou: Is that not the COAT i was talking about?
Did i say he should drive a BMW X5 series? You see how you went and thought of BMW X5. Point is someone who has been earning 600k can't say it's enough now any more. When you start cutting your COAT not because you are wasteful but because the price of things has gone up astronomically, then that money is not enough again. Na to find way scale up your earnings or manage. |

So a man not driving a car is poor....According to you.

liveLongNprospa: Lmao.. As a single person, yes.
As a family person especially with black tax. How much car fixing and fueling dey collect each month? How much be the new rent you dey pay? How much be the new price of food? Imagine you come get new baby nko. How much to run the house Daily? The help you'll render to people nko? What about unforeseen billings in a month?
600k nor big Bros. Nor worry😂 And this was my reply. As a single person, yes. As a family person.. No its not enough. There was a time it would be. Not now. You say cut your coat according to your size, as if that doesn't prove the point that the money isn't enough. There was a time that 600k would be enough.. But now. Good luck |

izzou: And so your long list is the reality of a family person?
Lol
Your circle is full of the rich, and it is not a bad thing.
Millions of family persons are not earning 600k monthly and they are not begging for bread.
So, no need to dey draw realities. It is already evident and possible around you You were the one who mentioned me being surrounded by rich people to justify your argument. Coz I don't know how you think 600k is alot of money for a family man because you have families who are surviving on less. |

GrammarNazi1: Surprisingly, both of you are correct to an extent.
None of you, however, wants to understand that.
This is the danger in certain discussions.
What is more perplexing is not even whether 600k, for example, is enough for a person or not, it is whether the constant price increase will ever stop. Which is my point. I specified that a family man will have difficulties with 600k monthly and gave examples of the increase of things. I was very specific to a family person. Not a single person. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 12:51pm On Feb 09, 2024 |
izzou: The discussion from the beginning was whether 600k is enough for someone monthly.
And i can remember saying "Depending on how you cut your coat"
It can be enough and it cannot be enough.
What i find funny is how he uses his reality of a family person to conclude. Which one be certification and 40 people begging?
People are surviving with less than 600k a month. That's enough proof to argue against There are people surviving with 120k salary. So when someone who earns 200k complains, does it mean they are not cutting their coat according to their size? |

izzou: I don't want to have a car. I will only give 1 person begging me money every month I don't want to have any certifications I will use my gen from 7pm to 10 pm everyday.
Oya rephrase this fantasy and tell me 600k is still not enough.
40 people are begging me automatically means i will be catering for 40 people abi?
As per USAID wey i be? That's your reality. It's different from a family person's reality. |

600k was 800 dollars in Jan 2023. Today that's about 388 dollars. With increased inflation.
The end |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 12:18pm On Feb 09, 2024 |
izzou: I have not said 600k is big, but if you cut your coat according to the size of today's economic realities, you will be more than fine.
So you wan tell me say all the family men in Lagos and Nigeria are spending above 600k monthly?
If you want to chill as an Odogwu and Game changer, 600k no reach.
If you adjust to the Renewed Nigeria, 600k is enough for you. This is not about cutting your coat. More people have gone under. Things are alot more expensive. Which means your spending has gone up and your purchasing power has been cut badly. The amount you spent to fix a car in 2022 isn't the same you spend today. The amount your spent on fuel in January 2023 is almost 300% more now just price. The volume you consume has increased because of terrible power supply and even poor quality petrol that burns off faster. The money you spent on food in 2022 is alot more now. School fees has gone up alot more. The things you buy for the house that are necessities are now 3 times more expensive. Should I talk about the cost of medication? Now let's talk about the parents you support, do you reduce the money or increase it with the price of things? There's a surge in poverty meaning if 20 people were begging you in 2022, 40 people are probably begging you now. Lets now face personal development if you are a career person. How much is the cost of certifications now compared to last year? Probably 2 times or 3 times depending on if it's a UK or US certification. Like I said, 600k is not much if you are a proper family person |

Every epoch has its own fraud anthem

Mid to late 2000s - Kelly Hansome with Maga don pay
