1.) Hunter's first case was a Gun Case. They said he lied on a gun form about being an addict, bought a gun, had it for1 day and then threw it away.
There are few cases where any person was charged with this crime who hadn't committed a violent crime or was arrested for some sort of felony drug distribution.
In fact this case was so ridiculous, the gun owner who sold Biden the gun, forged the gun form. What did he get? A plea deal to tesitfy against Hunter Biden.
Biden's original plea deal that was overturned was even harsher than anyone in a similar situation would get.
Now how do I know this?
I read a lot of the court filings. I researched similar cases. And I read articles from non partisan career prosecutors who prosecuted similar case.
Can you find many similar cases where someone was prosecuted for lying on the form without a concurrent charge for a violent offence or a drug distribution one? No you can't.

2.) Hunter Biden's tax case
Again, he was prosecuted harsher than anyone else in his similar situation.
There are relatively few cases where someone has paid back the taxes he owed and still been prosecuted criminally.
Most aren't prosecuted at all and if anything happens it's a civil case.
Look up Trump's friend Roger Stone's case.
He owed more money to the IRS than Hunter did. They brought a civil case against him to get him to pay the taxes.
How do I know?
Again, I read a lot of the court filings. I researched similar cases. And I read opinions from non partisan people who have prosecuted similar cases.
Do you have many similar cases was someone was prosecuted even though they paid back their taxes? No you don't.

3.) Trump's Jan 6th Case.
That was inevitable yet still slow walked by Merrick Garland.
Just go and watch what Republican Mitch McConnel said during Trump's impeachment.
He said there were criminal remedies to handle this. McConnel is not a Democrat.

4.) Trump's Document case.
Biden's DOJ gave Trump every opportunity to turn over the documents.
It wasn't until Trump committed obstruction, lied about having the documents and directed his employee Nauta to lie and hide them did the DOJ have to prosecute.
Trump dared them and by the rule 'no-one is above the law', they had to take him to task.
Again, this was slow walked and every opportunity given to Trump to turn over the documents he took.
