An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Abuja smashed a man's car side window on Wednesday.

According to Benjamin Mogazi who was in the vehicle before the incident, the female officer entered the car and dragged the steering with the driver because he initially refused to pull over as instructed.

He said it was after a while that a male officer ran towards them and smashed the car's side glass.

He wrote: "A police officer passed us at the traffic junction which we move and out of no where a road safety officer appear and ask us to pack it was 7:20am already which we ask what is our offense, no respond from dem and we were moving slowly next tin is an officer inside the car trying to strangle the driver with the seat belt."

Youths of Rumuokparali Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on Wednesday took to the streets to protest the gruesome murder of two brothers in the area.

According to several accounts, the victims, identified as Ifeanyi and Emeka Wobo - from the same father but different mothers - were beheaded on Tuesday.

The angry youths who lamented the poor security in the state shut down the community roads to vehicular movement.

Lagos State Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies and security volunteers have arrested 87 suspected Badoo members just as it declared 20 others wanted in connection with activities of the group in Ikorodu.

The 87 suspects were arrested in an all-night operation on their hideouts in Owutu and Odongunyan in Ikorodu.

Those declared wanted for cult related killings include: Moshood (a.k.a Mosho), Alfa (a.k.a King of Boys), Papa; Fela, Alakoto and Chukwudi.

Others declared wanted for kidnapping in Ikorodu include: Agbara, O/C, Femi (a.k.a FM), Pencil, Ogidan, Jaru, Allen, Bush, Happiness, Fagbo, Junior, Nuru and Jamiu.

Representing the Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Fatai Owoseni at raiding, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Imohimi Edgal warned the suspects to come out of their hideouts and report themselves to the nearest police station.

The raid was an extensive operation on the two areas - Odongunyan and Owutu and it was necessitated by more intelligence on the membership of the dreaded cult group and their mode of operations.

A notorious criminal known for defrauding unsuspecting people in Banks has been nabbed in Sapele, Delta State.

According to Sapele Oghenek, the suspected thief operates by confronting people after they make withdrawals and tells them that he wants to 'change money'.

After changing the cash for him, the person's money will drastically reduce on getting home.

He used the trick to defraud a man of N30,000 at UBA, however, luck ran out of him when he used the same strategy to steal N23,000 from one Mr. Chuks.

Mr. Chuks - on discovering that his money had reduced - stormed GT Bank angrily where he caught this fraudster. The man has reportedly been doing this for a long time before meeting his waterloo.
