A Nigerian man identified as Chike got the beating of his life after he went to visit a married woman, who he claims to be close friends with.

According to the story shared by human rights lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, Chike - on getting to the woman's house - was accused by her husband of destroying his family.

The young man was trying to explain himself when the angry husband punched his face which left him (Chike) with a nosebleed.

A Nigerian police officer showed his gallantry when a 'politician' tried to intimidate him on a highway in Delta state.

The incident which was captured in trending video showed the man telling the officer who was on duty that he will not open his car boot after the policeman pulled him over for a search.

He said "I will rather die than to open any boot, you are doing an illegal job here"

The man is seen calling a senior police officer in Delta who instructed the policeman not to check the man's trunk 'because he is an S/A to a politician in the state'.

Seeing that the young police officer was not intimidated, the 'politician' stepped out of his car and opened the boot

All for that thing called money

A woman who makes adulterated palm wine by mixing sugar and other chemicals with water has been exposed in Umudioka area of Anambra state.

She was caught by residents who patronise her products.

A video showing the fake palm wine factory and the owner was first shared on Facebook by Chioma Anene who called on Palm wine lovers to "Watch what you drink".

Fire this evening gutted the house of Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (rtd) located at Adekunle Fajuyi Road, around Ladipo Area of Ikeja GRA.
The retired Lt. General was reportedly not at home as at the time of the incident.

On ground to assist the officials of the Lagos State Fire Service and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Owoseni and Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), who were returning to the GRA after an unscheduled visit to Ikorodu.

The fire was put out at almost 7:00 p.m.

Barr. Tubotamuno Dick, a chieftain of PDP and legal adviser to Kengema Unity Forum (KUF), is in a critical condition following Gunshot wounds he sustained on Wednesday in what is believed to be an attempted Assassination on his life.

According to reports, Mr Dick was on his way to drop his friend, Tomi Alalibo at Eagle Island when the suspected assassins attacked. While he survived the attack, his friend, Mr. Tomi died.

A Nigerian Lady simply identified as Chilliams claims her brother, John Samuel came back to life after doctors declared him dead as a result of heart failure.

According to her, Mr. John came back to life when his corpse was about to be flown back to Nigeria for burial

Fulani Herdsmen seeking grasses for their cattle invaded Central College Ogochi Ekperi Community in Etsako Central, Edo State this morning again, scaring students off.

It is a very easy case to judge. When you watch the initial video that was uploaded, you won't see or hear any gunshots, you will see some of the boys even discussing with the officers - that won't happen if it was a case of being shot, the officers would have fled.

In the background you'd hear one loudmouth saying let them shoot! That's because they were prevented from destroying the hotel,

Nobody requested for his phone, he ran on sighting them. Maybe the hotel should not have sharp objects around the pool (another matter entirely)

Man, the policemen asked him to unlock his phone for a search and he tried to run. Even PUNCH just reported it. It's just sad that most of his friends claimed he was shot, meanwhile, he got injured by a pool spike.

Two men have been caught with the head and decapitated body of a 7-year-old schoolboy who went missing yesterday in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

According to reports, the suspects were nabbed along Odogunyan road with the young boy's body shoved with foam and charcoal, wrapped alongside the head inside a sack..
