Please can anyone who knows the management of the above mentioned bank tell them to reduce the plight of their customers around them? You force them to use the ATM and yet most times than not it's not funded. And when it is its not even enough to cater for the needs as the funds get finished and woe betide you if its a weekend. Even on working days the ATM is not loaded till well past 8am. Most of the customers around Make use of their atm as there are re only 2 banks in this axis. UBA and First bank. Please try and improve your service as we know you are trying but you need to step up your game. Pics below show people waiting and hoping to use the ATM buy none working.

dingbang:Na.. Please go. Never say never! I may be exaggerating on to say I know all this. I might not know all the good parts of working with the coy so please by all means attend. If it does not suit you... You are free to move the on. You learn with experience. After all I know some ppl as well there who started as sales ppl and have moved up the ladder in same coy and doing well. . |

Well if you are in administration I guess you would not have the burden of sales on your head as na paper work mostly and end of the day go home..... But if you are transfered to sales... Especially the Personal care department O. Y. O. That does not mean if you are in an administrative office them go take preference in paying your pension deductions o no just go there.. In fact that topic for there na sensitive one. They will ask you to write down, Mail, text your PFA pin a million times to work on it and at the end zilch(0) is paid. |
If you are a fresh graduate or don't have anything doing or want to cut your teeth in sales then go for it. They hire and fire at will, will deduct your pension from your salary and not remit to your PFA, give you crazy targets,, you practically use your funds to run their business and owe you month to month of your float even if you retire sane. They will cut same float even after you had justified amount spent. You go use your own money buy sample at least to show customer wetin you dey sell of them product o cuz dem no go give you sample to take push your Sales. (which clear thinking FMCG does that??)they treat staff like if you don't like it you can go to hell. They will tell you as a supervisor to go to different locations and don't want to pay for passage. I know a staff of theirs who had an accident a few days to Xmas last year with his van that somersaulted while on a sales delivery.. Thank God for his life just a few bruises and scratches... Till I speak the money he used to treat himself at the hospital after the incident they never still pay .. Not even a mail to say sorry about it. Ask me how much he used for hospital bill and have not payed.?? 10k. Funny enough dem 'fix' the van up and returned to him and he still was not payed his hospital bills. Wait for it...... Guess what.. He has been fired since February 2017 or so. My brother.. Abi sister.. You no go know wetin dey happen for inside fenced compound till you enter.. By then at times it might be too late.. All this is after you have attended over 7 sessions of INTERVIEWS ON DIFFERENT DAYS without them helping with transport fare if you like come from Maiduguri you are on your own. When they are sure they will take you that is when they pay for that last interview session. Apart from the above observations they are an OK coy to work with. ![]() The are legit if I am to answer your questions. They pay sales reps, 50k Sales Supervisors 75k or so after removing pension they will never remit to your PFA(I know some staff who have worked there for over 3 years and till date ko ko lo) and I know some staff Who have left or where fired who have not still gotten entitlements and pension till date even after a couple of months. Like I said.. It's an OK coy to work with. Salary is constant and paid at the end of the month is a plus. They give some bonus in December a plus. You are entitled to leave after a year normal. There is room to grow and get promoted. But then you Wan oust your oga from work ni? ![]() Lalasticlala and Co.. Make una come out o. Thanks for all the inputs so far. I really appreciate it all. For those who think I want them to pay me directly my pension - no.. What I meant is that the coy has not, did not, and haven't remitted my deductions to my PFA . I have a PFA and gave the coy my PFA account number when I filled the employement form. I asked my PFA to send my statement recently and nothing has been paid from this coy. For those who shrug their shoulder and say I should for get it.,... How long shall we continue to suffer and let a cot trample on us because we are not " connected" tell me. How long.. Just saying. At least if person no fit do any any thing per say make e still no fit talk? Person wen ask question no dey miss road o. Somebody mentioned something about if I was dismissed or laid off. I was not dismissed. I was laid off or rather my appointment was terminated. Abi if person say " your services are no longer required" with no reason na dismissal be that?? ![]() As for customers owing me.....my employment was terminated before I could go and collect those funds. I felt I shouldn't incure more expenses trying to go recover such funds until it was convenient for me and at my leisure since I know such customers and would still collect those funds when I meet them. Besides the amount customers owe me is way less than what they intend paying me. Its also stated in my employment letter my entitlements which is maybe my one months in lieu would be paid LESS any outstanding. In fact some staff that before me left took goods and or money worth amounts owed them and resigned. But I am not wired that way.. ![]() |
Good day house Decided to bring this here to seek other opinions as well especially from those who have had similar issues and how they resolved such or those who are versed in labor laws give advice. OK. So I worked for this Nigerian owned FMCG located at lagos and was with them for some months. I was laid of sometime last year. Before I left there were some months outstanding expenses I made yet to be paid. My pension deductions which is supposed to be remmited monthly was not paid till date even though they were deducting monthly from my pay.(note they have my pension details as it was filled alongside my employment form) . I learnt some staff who have been with them up to 3 years have also not been paid pensions deductions as well but coy has been taking from them.( Is there no law against this ?? )It was also stated in my employment letter that I was to be paid a months salary in event THEY terminated my employment which they did. Till date all this have not been paid. Its been one story or the other. Back and forth. And that they need approval or that it has not been approved etc. I have returned all coy property in my custody and some funds customers owe me to be paid far less that what is owed me I have asked they deduct from my funds owed me and reimburse me the balance. What's the way forward. Because as it is now I have been on the edge trying to make things work out for me again and I see no end in sight as they might not eventually pay me. Shey na like this we go dey dey? Na so person go work and coys especially Nigerian owned go dey use employees like trash. You would use your meagre salary to run expenses Luke fueling, transport etc but time to pay them go cut cut am like Sura the tailor . They will say this is your route plan weekly and you must stick by it but are unwilling to pay incurred expenses Personally I have vowed that if not a multinational coy I rather start up a small biz and grow my own. abeg make Una help me push to front page because the is is a topic that affects a whole lot of employees in Nigeria today and am sure many are in same shoes and have lots to pour out here as well. Let's share our experiences. |
