I'm thinking about buying an android again.. Sadly my evo for sprint can not be used in Nigeria because there is no sim card slot. What do you guys think about the htc inspire and htc sensation? |
There is no blackberry out there with good battery life but maybe bold 2.. The battery life isn't bad its just that the phone is old.. Try and go for an iphone.. They have decent battery life |
Well I'm not travelling but my mom is.. She's in california coming to nigeria next week. And she just bought an iphone 4 carrier att. Version 5.1 .. And she has been to a lot of places with the phone and they can't seem to unlock it. So she was telling me that there's an iphone that she wants to buy that is unlocked with gevey sim. But I don't want her to bring a phone that might have complications here.. (Nigeria) |
@tumababa, the problem is that I bought an iphone 4 with version 5.1 and they said they can't unlock it here.. What should I do? Travelling in about a week.. |
Is it recommendable to but an iphone that is unlocked with gevey sim? I need a phone to bring to nigeria this summer.. |
@spirit you don't understand me, I didn't say the law is bad neither good, I'm just saying that the school obviously has its reasons for creating such a law. The main reason of the ban of camera phones is because they don't want pictures of the school being leaked like it has been already. You could bring a nokia phone with no camera and still call out in case of an emergency. Duh! |
I don't see what the big deal is, almost all private universities in this country have this rule. If you choose to attend a private institution at least be ready to abide by the rules and regulations. At least they can bring phones, CU (covenant university) doesn't even allow the use of non-camera phones. Stop complaining and move on. |
Hey guys, I chose UNN as second choice.. Can I still buy the form? Or I shouldn't waste my time? I'm going for medsurg with 229 in jamb. |
@Lexus yes, I own a torch ( which I hate so much) , but I'm upgrading soon.. So with a blackberry phone I can connect it to the playbook and browse from it? |
What are the MTN bundle plans for the android phones? Are they similar to those of the blackberry, like BIS BBC etc.? And can I use and HTC desire in Nigeria ? |
Hello there, Well been using my torch 9800 since December 2010 and I'm literally sick of it..I don't want to let go of the blackberry but then again I'm thinking of heading on to the iphone. I'm trying to figure out what I should do. Help me outgive me some ideas on which of the two you prefer with reasons . Thanks |
@Lexus yeah I got you now.. But what if there's no wifi hotspot.. There's no other way you can browse with it. |
Hey guys, I've finally decided to go ahead and get the playbook.. But does it take a sim card? And if so how much is the bundle with MTN Nigeria. Is it the same BIS plan on the gsm ? |
R.I.P . And sorry to those who hoped on him for admission. |
@simplefemo , it's per session |
Fellow nairalanders, is it not absurd for the fees to be that high? Yes there's no strike but still.. |
Still waiting for private unis.. |
What about Private Unis? There's no info please... |
Why are Nigerians stuck with poverty mentality. The fees you are complaining about are actually really good for what you get at the private institutions. My cousin in UCLA (University of California LA) is paying 40,000 dollars a years for just being a biochem major. Schools like Harvard, Yale, and Howard are even more expensive so stop complaining. Gosh!! |
I don't see anything on Bowen university... Let me know |
What of bowen university? |
How many students chose medicine and surgery at bowen university |
NewsUni: It enters their database faster than it reflects on your slip. So they are all sent together.I don't understand.. Explain further |
What about the people that changed institution today or yesterday? How does that work? How will those be sent? |
Has the list of second choice applicants been sent to the various universities? |
I'm impressed with the buildings but school is not all about how nice the buildings are, its about quality education and teaching, and also being able to graduate and find a job at the end of the day. On the other hand, I have cousins in Covenant University and they said that the school is too strict, other than that they enjoy it. Ill prefer the originals, UI, UNILAG, NSUKKA . Just my opinion. Good work Bishop Oyedepo. |
Harbioollah: I also applied 4 Med n surg 2..got 242 shayou have a good chance then |
We are in the same boat.. I got 229 for med/surg unilag first imsu second.. I'm confused also |
MATTHEW59: Have u submitted your first change?yes i have |
27th april is the last day to buy the change of institution/course scratch card and the last day to change it is 28th april |
, but I'm upgrading soon.. So with a blackberry phone I can connect it to the playbook and browse from it?
