please i need an answer

How many times can one change choice of institution ?

@poster im also an applicant for med/surg at unilag. what did you score in jamb

hey matthew59, do you know if its possible to change institution more than once? i changed mine a few days ago now i want to change it again.

THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will, next month, commence admission of successful candidates into various tertiary institutions in the country, for the 2012/2013 academic session.

JAMB Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor ‘Dibu Ojerinde, who made this known in Abuja, said relevant stakeholders in the system were currently being mobilised for a policy meeting scheduled for May 21 in Abuja, where a harmonised cut-off point that would kick start admission process for 2012/2013 would emerge.

Professor Ojerinde said this when he received a four-man delegation from the Nigerian Turkish Nile University, led by its Vice Chancellor, Professor Bunyamin Kaptanoglu.

The registrar commended the efforts of the Nigerian Turkish Nile University for the quality of training offered Nigerians, saying it was a marvellous contribution to educational development in the country.

He, however, bemoaned the instability in Nigeria’s tertiary education system, adding that some universities were characterised by restiveness, unstable and disrupted school calendar

MATTHEW59: Yeah, even if it is going to be lower, it can't be lower than 70 from 76.And u will still need more 82/100. What do u think? U re from which state?

im from imo state and im sure i can get 82

MATTHEW59: A big task and challenging work ahead, u will need 95/100 in post UTME for MED& SUR admission to meet last year cut off of 76, 2much a work. U hv 2 change now...

@matthew59 shockingly, i scored 229 in my utme and i chose medicine in unilag. Do i have any chance at all due to the cut off mark being lowered or should i change institution or course??

you cannot see your result because "your result is wittheld for further screening"

MATTHEW59: It might be June/july because everyone must resume by october for new session. D VERY BEST.

how can one get past questions and answers of last years post ume ?

MATTHEW59: @ Lizyl, though the utme performance is very low but we should wait for post utme 2 know the performance. The cut offs might be lower than last yr but still on post utme performance.

@matthew59 is it true that the cut-off marks will be slightly reduced because of low performance in jamb this year? Will the cut off for med be lower?

I seriously think there was something wrong with the marking. Most of my friends are getting between 210-245 and we were expecting something like 260-270. This is unbelieveable and I still can't believe I scored 229 as jamb said. Well all I can do is pray and study harder for the post ume. And unfortunately I'm going for medicine in UNIlag of all schools. Lord help me.

This thread is great!! I am in your position as well.. I prepared very well for this exam and I was also very sure of myself that I would get nothing lower than 270 but when I saw my result I was so shocked. I don't know if jamb made errors in marking because I'm not the only one with this issue. Its just sad.

@matthew59 do you have any update on the post ume for unilag?? Subjects being tested and etc..

Pls what is the cut off mark for medicine in unizik?
