Good evening Maxwell, please one more question about the documents you submitted.
For birth certificate, I have NPA Attestation of birth and Court Age declaration, but all are photocopy/scanned copy.
I would like to know if you submitted the photocopy of the above mentioned documents or the original copy.
Am asking because I don't have the original of this document but I have them in mail.

Good morning All,
It seems getting appointment for first timer tourist visa is completely impossible at the moment for French embassy.
Some one told me that Spanish embassy is open for tourist and visiting visa right now. Please I would like to know if anyone here know about it or have seen someone that applied recently for short stay visa.
Thank you

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 8:45pm On Aug 04, 2021
Thanks for your response, but I lost the that particular passport a year later, so there's no way to get a copy of it.
HRprof:
Use frequent . Either used or not used visa it still count. Make a copy of the visa and include in your application documents.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 6:32pm On Aug 04, 2021
What if the schengen visa is unused and it was issued 6 years ago?
Which category will the person belong to; first timer or Frequent
quote author=Beverlyhills post=104427071]Frequent Travelers are applicants who have at least 1 previous visa from the schengen , US , UK and Canada.[/quote]
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 5:10pm On Aug 03, 2021
Yes!!
You are right, i was trying to remember the word (Misrepresentation)
Please i would like to ask you few questions via mail but i don't really how to do it.
megastu:
The day it will be detected then you will know its a big issue. It is called Misrepresentation and attracts a 5 year Ban from Canada, 10 years from U.K and a life ban from the U.S.

Good luck to you!
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 12:10pm On Aug 03, 2021
I was given PFL before the refusal.
HRprof:
How did you know it was the reason ? Did you request for your GCMS? Or you just assume as the Canada refusal letter does not come with such details information unless you request for your GCMS. Meanwhile , Canada only share information with US embassy and i don't know about sharing information with Europe.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 11:18am On Aug 03, 2021
that was the only reason.
Please Nairalanders, if you are applying for any kind of visa be it Visiting, Permanent resident, Family reunion etc, and you have had a visa before. kindly mention it on your application , both used and unused. Even if the stamped visa passport is expired, lost or burnt mention it. I'm talking from my little experience. With the old or missing passport number they will see it.
Nchabuomo:
Was this the only reason? Did Canada deny you a visa for not mentioning that you had a visa to another country though? Unless that visa sticker is on the passport submitted or you are applying to a country you have previously visited before how would the Canadian Embassy know you had a visa to Spanish? i.e assuming that you your details weren't flagged.

If you had a Spanish visa before then you are not a first-timer then.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Lizzer: 11:04am On Aug 03, 2021
Thank you, i will do that.
Beverlyhills:
@Lizzer, your lost passport number linked to the new one will show you had a Spanish visa in the past as its within the Schengen region.

However, you may need to call the vfs help desk by phone: 0815 018 8800 to explain your situation to them and see the solution profferred.

Good Luck..

But i will mention it in my application , because when applied for canadian visa in 2017, i didn't mention it on my application. With the lost passport number on my new passport, Canadian embassy saw the spanish visa and denied me visa for not mentioning that i had a Spanish visa long time ago.

I just hope applying as a first timer will not be a problem, because am very sure they will see that Spanish visa.

Thanks for your response.
I don't have a copy of it.

HRprof:
You mean you have permanent resident visa and didn use it till date? Lol
Anyway if you have a copy of it anywhere then add it to your visa applications but they will confirm the authenticity of it since it still fall within schenge country but if you can not provide it then no evidence of your visa prove and it means you fall for the first time travel
