Hi guys, this is very urgent. Is there a need to go along with passport photograph for a medical request at IOM Ikeja?
Also, can I get a passport snapped at IOM internally?

Yeah, you can get a medical request even after you have uploaded an upfront medical result. Was your upfront medicals from a previous application? when did you do it?

My agent don't want to give me username and password of the application he did, my question is how can I get it without his notice, also, I did upfront medical and submitted to her during my biometrics, she called last week Monday that the Ircc is demanding for my medicals, and she said she was going to send it again through web form, now I called to know if it's been updated and she said no that I should allow her do her work, I don't know how possible it is but can I still get medical request from Ircc after submitting my medicals? I think you should be a little bit patient. It took mine about 40 days to pass last year. You might wanna call them sha, if it's bothering you

To be on a safe side and avoid stories that touch cos of time and what not, I would advice you book another appointment and go for the medicals with the details IRCC generated for you. Same thing happened to me, I submitted in Feb, did upfront medical on the 26th of April. By 26th of May I got medical request. Without wasting time I booked a new medicals with the new details, now my medicals have been updated to pass. So avoid had I known, and go. Just my advise

We're in the same shoes. I did upfront medicals Nov 2021, I got a medical request days ago.
An IOM support officer told me I can't do medicals if the existing one hasn't expired. The visa officer probably has their reasons for requesting a new one since my resumption is January 2023. It expires before resumption

I did upfront medical November 2021 & got a medical request today. I thought it takes 1year before medicals expire.

Good morning guys, last year November, I did an upfront medical which is going to expire this year, November. Unfortunately my application was declined.
I reapplied for my visa and I got a medical request again while my existing medical result is still valid. I called IOM today, they said I can't do another medicals when my existing medicals hasn't expired, that I should upload the slip to IRCC.
Anyone here that has had that issue? please help.

PS: I uploaded the medical result from last here with this new application and still managed to get a medical request.

Thanks, I uploaded an upfront medical result that expires Nov, 2022 from my previous application, yet still got a medical request for my ongoing application.

Got a medical request today and the next available slot is in 27 days, Canada gave me 30 days to submit my medical result.
I wanna be on the safer side and get it done next week. Is this possible, please? it's also showing that "I have an active appointment.." whenever I try selecting Canada on IOM'S website. When I checked, there was none. Please help guys

Hi guys, my GCMS Notes just arrived but I'm concerned paticularly about the line that says "i am not satisfied that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expense". I applied for a 2 year diploma course and paid first semester school fees.
I'm thinking of having my cousin pay full tuition and adding him as a sponsor since he paid my initial school fee and sent me GIC.
Is that enough commitment? or unecessary if i use him?

I also have saved more funds since first application

See below timeline of my application:
First Application
Submitted April 30th, 2021
I found Nairaland first week of August then I got to know about Upfront medical

Upfront medical August 4th, 2021
Delay came on August 16, 2021
Reason: Personal Assets and Financial Status.

I paid Half tuition fee with 10million in my account as Self-Sponsored. I was wondering HOW and WHY refusal again…
But after dropping my delay on nairaland, I got some responses then I knew where my problem was even before I got GCMS note. So I started tackling and typing…
Lump sum.
I never stated anything finance in my SOP, talk-less of mentioning the lump sum I had 4 days before submission. Well, a lesson.

I ordered GCMS note and the result was actually correct. Lump sum.
What I did different;
1. I paid Full tuition fee
2. I explained all the lump sum I had in my LOE, even when they won’t be in my new statement of account because I had to wait till December for submission to avoid stories again.
3. I gave sources of all lump sum I had then with documents to back them up. Some equipment I owned, I brought up their receipts and their rental agreement which gave me lump sums.

Secret: Don’t rush any submission. Try to get it right.

I ensured I don’t have ANY new lump at allll.
I wrote my beautiful LOE and SOP, to me beautiful, lol.

Thank God I asked Makano to review for me.
Then He blasted me ehn. I was like, It took me 14days to come up with all this and this guy was just putting lines lines lines.
Well, I relaxed because He knows better.
We kept going back and forth but He para that I don’t want to learn that He charge for what he’s doing for me free, Sorry I had to say all this Makano, it’s just funny to talk about them now.

I pleaded with him that I will pay what ever fee, because I like how he’s getting angry at me because I needed to get it right.
I sha paid the discount He gave me because He saw how dedicated I was.

Finally We got something meaningful that I confirmed my initial beautiful LOE/SOP was rubbish.

He’s good… He like a brother, always checking Up on me via mail… General Makano

Re-applied 7th of December, 2021… Action movie started.
7th of Feb, 2022 being my birthday, Eligibility started.
29th of March, 2022 Original Passport Request.

The first one. I paid a little over N5000 (just gcms is cheaper). I had issues making payment at first, so I emailed them and was provided a link,used my gt card and that was sorted. Filled and signed the consent form,scanned it back.
