Bobomaigida: Please stick with the information you have already provided in your old application, in any case you are already acquiring a Canadian certificate, which will give more points than the Nigeria one. My Canadian diploma is only 2 years, I wouldn't be getting points for multiple certificates, where one has to be for at least 3 years. So I need to include my HND to maximise the points. |

Hi my people,
I applied for a study permit with a lower certification (OND) as my highest level of education because my certificate wasn't available at that time, and there was no solid documents to prove it (it was issues with my school). Now that I have obtained my certificate (HND) and I am preparing to apply for permanent residency (PR), is it permissible to update my application with my newly acquired certificate as my highest level of education? Do i need to explain this in my letter of explanation, or it doesn't matter? P.S I'm currently studying in Canada.
What are your opinions guys? |

Thanks. I just dropped it. How about grounded crayfish and dry fish? Should I pick "yes" in the arrivecan form? CharitoJames: Powdered milk isn’t allowed. Are you aware?

Gigdraft: Hi Immacbaby,
I would strongly advise you against booking that flight. 3 months before your enrollment date would raise the CBSA officer's suspicion.
Please do not even attempt it. Anything from 4 weeks is fine.
Love you and have a safe flight! |

bullstriker: Do you mean to inform IRCC on the change of DLI, or were you told to send your new admission letter to IRCC? If it is the former, to inform IRCC of the change of DLI, you have to use the old portal (MyCIC account). You could create a new Mycic account even if you did not use it for the application. When you log in, click ‘Students: Transfer schools. It will bring up a page where you can enter your application number, personal information and school details. From there, everything is self-explanatory.
Please note that you could be asked to submit a new application when you change DLI before obtaining your study permit. So why don’t you do it just to be safe after CBSA has issued your study permit? |

Thanks, but this is quite confusing. Are you implying that I still have to do this test even as a vaccinated traveller? Hanzat: Based on ArriveCan, Any of the following test results are valid for entry to Canada, if you have been vaccinated.
Negative rapid antigen test (RAT) result on a sample taken from a laboratory, healthcare entity, or telehealth service no earlier than the day before the scheduled departure, or
Negative molecular (e.g. PCR, NAATs, RT-LAMP) COVID-19 test result on a sample taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure, or
Positive molecular (e.g. PCR, NAATs, RT-LAMP) COVID-19 test result on a sample taken between 10 and 180 days prior to departure
If you do not have proof, you may be subject to a fine or denied entry to Canada. Certain exceptions apply |

Congrats bro! where did you do your IME medicals? If IOM, did you get a text from them upon their submission to IRCC? VeeWest: Visa timeline My own japa & PPR story. Second time applicant, First submission on 25th Nov 2021, Biometrics on 1st Dec in Uk Breakfast on 25th Jan 2022.(worst feeling ever) Ordered Gcmnotes same day. Though I knew what caused the refusal, so i worked with my close friend who went through the same process and this time we got all documents needed, including having my sponsor transfer 10m and company bank statement. Second application- Submitted on 17th of Feb Eligibility started around ending of April, wasn’t aware and had to defer admission to Jan as there wasn’t any space for Sept. Upfront medicals on 26th of April and nothing was updated Medical request from IRCC came on 25th of May, though i tried sending my upfront medical form via webform, I still booked and paid for another medicals to avoid stories that touch Another Medicals was done on the 31st of May and was updated to pass on 4th June. PPR and BVL came in on 17th June early morning Passport was submitted on 20th June in Abuja and since I dint do biometrics there had to pay N9,410 for transmission fee. Letter of Introduction and counterfoil issued and stamped and IRCC portal updated to approved on 25th of June Waiting to receive my passport from Dhl.
Stumbled on the platform when I was looking for how to go about my passport submission and decided to share my own journey.
