As it turns out Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, hasn’t shelved his plans to purchase an EPL club and has said he will consider buying another football club if Premiership club Arsenal won’t be sold to him.
Dangote, who is a fan of the club has been wanting to buy the British club for years. He says he’ll make a move only after he has completed one of the world’s biggest oil refineries in Lagos.
“By the time we’ve finished, we’ll be a $30bn company in terms of revenue,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV at the New Economy Forum in Singapore. “We’ll have an excess amount of cash to start playing around with.”

Popular singer, David Adeleke has finally broken silence on the 2019 Soundcity MVP awards during which Peruzzi was defeated.
Teniola on Tuesday last week beat Peruzzi, Odunsi and others to emerge as the best new artiste of 2019.
However, Peruzzi was not pleased with the awards as he took to twitter declaring that he worked harder than any new artiste in 2018, and also made more income than any other artiste in his category last year, 2018.

Popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, has finally released photos of her three-month-old son and confirmed that a socialite, Sholaye Jeremi, is his father.
She disclosed this in an early morning post on Instagram on Friday.
“Meet my son Jayce! And yes, Sholaye Jeremi is his dad. Unfortunately, he and I are a completely closed chapter,” her post read.
She welcomed her son in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in the U.S. on September 17, two days to her 38th birthday.
Little Jayce bears a striking resemblance to his father Jeremi, with whom his mum had a secret on-and-off affair over a three-year period.
In the post on her website, she shared how their paths crossed, and what led to their separation.
Linda, who described herself as single mum in the article, also addressed social media comments criticising her of being a hypocrite, for encouraging people to be celibate.
Linda’s latest revelation comes in the wake of allegations by the blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, that she faked her pregnancy to lure Jeremi into marrying her.
Not much is known about Jeremi except that he is believed to be an acquaintance of Nigeria’s minister of state for petroleum resources Ibe Kachikwu and Forte Oil chairman, Femi Otedola.

The lyrics to ‘One ticket’ by Nigerian Afro-pop rave of the moment, Kizz Daniel, is the most searched lyrics in Nigeria for 2018.
This is according to a 10-man Google Trends list published on Wednesday, December 12.
Google Trends is a report borne from analysis of popular search queries by language and region.
The report for Nigeria showed that ‘One Ticket’ beats the likes of Drake’s multi-award winning song ‘God’s Plan’ to clinch the topmost spot for most searched lyrics.
Kizz Daniel’s One Ticket was the first of a few other Nigerian lyrics that made it to the 2018 Google trends list.
