https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3snJ3Sg9D8 Wema Bank, one of Nigeria’s leading commercial banks, has announced the lifting of the suspension of international transactions on naira cards. Source: The Guardian In a letter addressed to its customers and obtained by The Guardian, the bank declared the end of the suspension on international transactions conducted through naira cards. Recall that many commercial banks in the country prohibited the use of naira cards for international ATM cash withdrawals, web and POS transactions, implying that cardholders cannot make cash withdrawals or payments through those channels outside the country. However, in a statement sent to its customers, Wema Bank announced that it has lifted the embargo on international transactions on naira cards, which means that customers can now conduct international transactions and make purchases globally. Customers can now enjoy seamless transactions and make international purchases using their Naira cards, including Mastercard, ALAT Mastercard, and Visa, for international spending, according to the bank. The email stated, “It’s time to enjoy seamless transactions and make purchases internationally. You can now use your Naira cards, including Mastercard, ALAT Mastercard, and Visa, for international spending.” The lifting of the ban brings an array of benefits to customers. For starters, it enables them to make international purchases, shop at online stores all over the world, and purchase from their favourite international brands. Wema Bank also stated that it has imposed a $500 monthly spending limit for international transactions to ensure that its customers manage their expenses responsibly and protect them from potential fraudulent activities. “Your Naira card gives you the convenience of making payments in foreign currencies, eliminating the need for currency conversion or carrying excess cash. It’s a hassle-free and secure way to shop and transact abroad,” it added. Is your Wema bank naira card now working for international transactions? Let us know if your bank has also resumed international spending on naira cards. mynd44, lalasticlala, nlfpmod |

thebosstrevor1:It's even more than that! The amount you see on the site shows the Naira equivalent of the price which is CBN. In reality, you'll have to pay in dollars. That's almost ₦450k in black market rate. Most of these people on nairaland forming rich guys probably don't know this! |

The major reason why most people are opting for starlink internet connection is the claim that it's faster than our other Nigerian network providers. Here's a screenshot of my MTN internet speed test, can your starlink beat it? Nlfpmod, mynd44

Now that starlink is present in Nigeria, I see a lot of people rushing to order the hardware. Currently, you can only pay for the service in dollars which is definitely going to be at black market rate. Since they're now available in Nigeria, you should be able to pay for it in the local currency which is likely going to be way more cheaper if that happens. |
It was obvious from the beginning that this programme is going to be another waste of time by the Nigeria government! |

I realised most people on Twitter still don't know how to save videos on Twitter on their phones. Some end up asking other users to share the video with them while some litter the comment section tagging video download bots. What most do not know is that they can easily and quietly save any videos they like on Twitter and other platforms quietly without a third-party app. To save video on Twitter, simply get the video URL or tweet link and head on to savefrom.net. Paste the link on the site and select the video quality you want. The video will start downloading in a moment. That's how to easily save videos on Twitter and avoid the embarrassment of having to ask someone sends it to you or tagging video bots in comments section and announcing to the whole world that you're about to download a video. You can watch the YouTube video below for visual illustration of the steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYamSLwDd1Y |

Lol, this PDP politicians are still yet to come in terms with reality. In his mind, does he really believe PDP will win this election? It's not a new thing any more. By the time they lose, their serial contestant will prepare to contest again in 2027. |
