toyinakande:
IQAS does accept statement of results. I used one and got my ECA in 13days.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 4:32pm On Apr 11, 2017
I've already sent the statement of result but I can call them and explain if you say it's a good option. But how would they know I'm the one since my document is on transit
optionese:
Is this for IQAS? I doubt they will but please call them and in the place for explanation state the reasons why you can't send your cerificate . WES however collects statement of result . When you find out from IQAS pls post their response here thanks

Good day everyone! Please can someone use statement of result in place of certificate?

Ehen!! Thank you so much... I understand now..
Thanks for the clarification
God bless
MummyJaygirls:
Since he isn't going to be working as a pharmacist dispensing drugs, you are on the right track of using iqas.

But if he gets to Canada and decides to be doing proper Pharm work then he will need to evaluate with Pebc
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 12:51am On Apr 10, 2017
I have paid o... guess i'll make the correction on the additional information box..
Thanks sis
MummyJaygirls:
If you haven't paid for the ECA, just refill the form. But if you have paid, include the correction in the box provided for additional information, if you have already sent this form, then u will need to send iqas a fax stating the mistake in date. Cheers!

Thank you! I appreciate

You should cast your net wider in terms of researching for an answer to this. I haven't read of anyone who applied under pharm sales rep with a b pharm so I may not be the best to answer your question. From the screenshot, it appears that it may fly. Find out if the noc under which he's applying requires a license in Canada.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 5:46pm On Apr 08, 2017
@vcole and @optionese
Thanks for all ur help and suggestions. I understand where u're coming from. He has a B.pharm. but can u go through this i saw on cic.. I think it's indicating on the job u're applying as. He's not applying as a pharmacist. But as a pharmaceutical sales representative which is in category B and not A.where they don't need his licence.
Please help me clarify this coz I'm more than confused now
Thank u so much for understanding

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 12:41pm On Apr 08, 2017
Thanks @optionese
I've not sent the documents. Just paid for it yesterday.should I still go on with the fax?
Is the correction at the bottom of the application form??
optionese:
Write a letter explaining the mistake and your husband should sign ,scan it and send it as a fax using hello faxm google it . Its free, also if you haven't sent your documents from your end , there is a place at the bottom of the form that you can make corrections and changes use it. When you send the fax wait for like 3 working days and call them. Be persistent when you call don't let them give you a generic answer. All the best
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 12:37pm On Apr 08, 2017
Thanks a lot @vcole
My husband is a pharmacist but it was stated that if u are applying as a retail or hospital pharmacist. But he's not applying as both. He's applying as a pharmaceutical sales representative. That's where he has experience and he has a degree in pharmacy. Since I'm not the principal applicant my evaluation is needed for points. So I can be evaluated by others not necessarily the Mcc.(as I was told by a friend.)
So I'm I on track??

vcole:
@Spatz81, I carefully read through your post. That was a very important update to the rules that you brought to the fore. It means that if an applicant receives an ITA on say April 1st and has his birthday on May 1st and submits his eAPR on May 1st or after, whenever the immigration officer begins to review his application for eligibility checks (i.e. A11.2), he stands the chance of being denied permanent residence based on not being eligible if by virtue of losing points for age, his CRS drops below the required cut off for the draw in which he was invited.
However, if he submits after his birthday and yet even with the points lost for age, his CRS still meets or surpasses the cut off for the draw, his application would be fine. Also, if he goes ahead to submit his eAPR before his birthday on May 1st, his app would be fine.
Bottom line - once you receive an ITA, endeavour to submit your eAPR before your next birthday if you know that your CRS less 5 points would make you fall below the cut off for your draw.

@bimpsy99, pls take note that "your application would not be refused" is not the same as having a successful outcome.

@esosa4real, I got my passport back siiiiiincceee in February. It only took 5 days. Don't worry about your medicals, sometimes it gets updated quickly, other times it takes a while.

@40manlappy,congrats. This has been a long time coming. I wish you a smooth sail from here on.

@markab, I am female oh. I often wonder why "thanks bro" is the default response when someone gives a reply. Is it only men that provide answers? #justsaying

@lochinny, medical doctors can only evaluate their degrees through MCC and pharmacists can only evaluate theirs through PEBC, any other evaluation done by any other evaluating agency would be declared null and void by IRCC. If your husband is the PA and his estimated crs scores WITHOUT evaluating your own degree is 459, then y'all may want to write ielts and get his own degree evaluated and get into the pool asap to take advantage of the wind of low cut off draws.

@ugoiyke79e, that eAPR form can be dicey. You may have to fill all the info again seeing as it wiped off.

Greetings to all. Congrats to all new ITA recipients. And to the hopefuls, hang in there. It'll happen soon.

P.S.
If anyone new here sent me PMs, pls kindly endeavor to ask your questions here as I would be unable to respond to the messages via email.

Good morning great people!! Please I have a problem. While filling IQAS application, I mistakenly put November 21st 2005 as the date my hubby finished school instead of 30th September 2005 that was written on the statement of result. I don't know how to correct it because IQAS can not be edited and I feel it might affect the evaluation. Please what should I do?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 11:48am On Apr 07, 2017
I'm not the principal applicant. My husband is
Gymme:
Please don't get your Medical degree assessed by any evaluating body other than Medical Council of Canada. See the link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

If you want to be the principal applicant, you will need to evaluate your degree through MCC (physiciansapply.ca) and the process/final evaluation usually takes longer than IQAS, WES etc.

U both did great

Just saw our IELTS results.

Boo LRSW 8.5, 8, 8, 7.5
Mine LRSW 8.5, 7.5, 7, 7.5

Score after calculation 472!
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 11:42am On Apr 07, 2017
Yes he's the principal applicant.
Thank u!!
boldinc:
Not sure I understand your question... Do you mean you and your husband have a score of 459 without your evaluation? If so and if he's the principal applicant, you do not need to evaluate your degree. Your score is enough to get you ITA for your family.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 10:12pm On Apr 06, 2017
Good evening everyone!! Congratulations to all that received ITA yesterday!! We aim to be like you soon
Please I need an advice. We did an online accessment and with my husband as the principal applicant.
I'm a doctor and I know that even if IQAS assess' me now I'll still be assessed by medical council in Canada. So with my IQAS assessment, hubby would have liked 459points ie with our ielts result but with my own it would be 469. Do u think I should go ahead and get assessed by IQAS and get assessed again by medical council or I should not do it?
Thanks

OK.. I've seen it. Thanks

v.cole has partly answered your question on the previous page, same page where you initially asked the questions.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 10:50pm On Apr 05, 2017
Thank you.
Blackbuddy:
If you evaluate only one degree and it's found to be equivalent to a Canadian degree, you get points for only that one degree. If you want more points, evaluate both degrees and hope the ECA states they are equivalent to Canadian degrees. Wether you evaluate 1 degree or the 2, it's the same cost.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 1:15am On Apr 05, 2017
Also please I need more clarification. My husband has 2 degrees. Would like to select the part that states 2post secondary certificates. Please is it necessary to send transcripts and certificates for the 2 degrees or to just send one and then indicate on education that he has an extra degree
If one is just evaluated and we indicate that he has a 2nd degree on education will it increase to the part of 2 post secondary certificate?
If I just evaluate want one to be evaluated, do I need to indicate in Wes form that he has 2 degrees?
Thanks

Hello everyone
You all are doing great. Thank u
I've been a silent follower here . Please I would like to know if IQAS sends verification to schools. After they receive your documents like WES. I heard WES sends verification mail to schools.
