Thank u so much!! I appreciate studyexec: There is an EOR form to be filled. You can send someone to BC office to pick it up and scan to you. Fill the EOR form and submit with the original Test Report Form and bank draft (N15k per component being remarked) - the submission can be made on your behalf. I would have found a way to send you the scanned copy I have, but I don't know if the form has been changed.....you never know. |

It was written on cic page that if u are pharmacist and want to practise with it then u must go through PEBC. He just has a pharmacy degree but not practising. So that's the reason we are not going through PEBC. esosa4real: Hi, I don't know if you have solved your husbands problem tho but be aware that as far as he is a pharmacist, his eCA must be from PEBC.
Someone on nairaland was refused for this. He tried to outsmart the system by evaluating via another body to save cost. He was refused and re-applied with PEBC ECA.
I heard it's very expenive. Even more than MCC but this cana waka sometimes it's not How fast, but how well!

Please how do I apply for remark? Must I go to BC myself? BC where I stay there is no BC office studyexec: Had the same reading score in my exam 2months ago. I have applied for EOR for the reading, and also booked for another exam. EOR is in the 4th week now and BC said it will take 8weeks (+/-). I know the chances of increased score is very slim for reading and listening, but hopefully there may be exceptions, as I have read. If you are an accompanying spouse, the result should be adequate. If you are the PA, you will surely need better scores. Also consider if you can manage with your results being frozen for up to 8weeks during EOR processing; meaning you cant use it for your EE profile. |

Already planning to start MCC but saw if hubby gets 8777 with 8 as listening we'll get up to 430. But with the current score in the pool I don't know if I should delete it and redo it or I should let it be? elfmann: Will redoing help get within 420-430? If not, you better follow MCC and PEBC way in addition. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 12:23pm On May 26, 2017 |
338.. we are rewriting ielts next month. Scores were L-7,S-6.5,W-7.5,R-6.5 for hubby and S-6.5,W-7.5,L-8,R'6.5 for mine elfmann: What is ur CRS atm? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 12:09pm On May 26, 2017 |
See, what exactly happened is that we decided to use IQAS since he wasn't applying as a pharmacist. So we now added his other degree in order to get the both evaluated and get more points. I know we could still go through pharmacy board regardless of the NOC job but that would have been a long process and would take time We are already in the pool but I realised that the score for education was 112 instead of 119 that should be given for 2 certificates. Thereby losing 7marks. That's why I'm asking for help. Don't know if I should delete the profile and start again because I found out that one of the degrees didn't enter initially. Had to update the profile and yet the scores didn't go up. 7 points isn't a joke u know... elfmann: So what's Biochemistry doing there? Run the tool and see your CRS, will u getting maximum points from ielts take u guys to say 420? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 11:46am On May 26, 2017 |
Yes it's for my husband They just evaluated it differently and wrote each degree and it's equivalence to Canadian degrees. They didn't write two certificates optionese: What was written on the ECA report |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Lochinny: 11:43am On May 26, 2017 |
I know all this but my husband isn't applying as a pharmacist as his NOC. Thought I said it that time. It was written on cic that pharmacy board is for those applying with *Pharmacist* as NOC.. Ie if the person would want to practise pharmacy in Canada I'm doing mine through MCC and it's a longer process elfmann: I remember you were told but you insisted. Both majors are B.Scs but Pharmacy is classified as a professional course, so should have higher points and should override Biochemistry. Follow what the summary is on the ECA.
If you are struggling for points..do ielts and eca. You said you are a doctor. I don't understand. |

I evaluated two degrees One in pharmacy and the other in biochemistry merrymum: I don't know what credentials you are evaluating but only a first degree BEFORE any other PG diploma/degree counts as 2 or more certificates. So if you evaluated say OND and BSC (and u maybe used ur ND to get direct entry to uni), it doesn't count as 2 or more certifications. |

Please can someone help me out Lochinny: Good morning great people! After filling EE profile, I noticed that my husband's education was rated 113 instead of 119 which is for 2 certificates and that reduced our CRS score. I've gone through the application and updated the 2nd degree which was evaluated too; still no change in the score. Please what should I do? |

Thank you so much @Ugoiyke. I'm grateful.ur explanation really helped me.. God bless u ugoiyke79e: Do well to thoroughly read through and digest d steps in Express Entry on the cic page as well as early pages of this forum. most of your queries will be thus understood.
To answer your present question, 1) yes go ahead and choose ur profession. as u havent gotten an ECA for it yet, jus answer "no" when asked if an ECA was done for it....when u get an ITA, ECA will not be requested in such a scenario. ** try and initiate the MCC path. It takes tym and money but it will be very good to do if u intend to practice medicine in any capacity in Canada.
2) For ur husband, EE requires at least 1year work eperience. Therefore, you should use his job with the number of years of experience claimed. This means that u cant use d new job..rather when u get ITA, u will mention it in the personal hx section.
**you could also take a chance and include ur current ielts scores while awaiting its remark, hoping to change it preITA or postITA(with a loe of course)
Cheers. |

Good morning everyone!! Please I have another problem.. I was asked to fill in my work and education for the EE profile.. but I didn't do any ECA because I'm a doctor and I need to go through Medical council for evaluation and I'm not the principal applicant.. should i fill it? What if I get an ITA and I'm asked to provide it? Also my husband who is the principal applicant just got a new job and he's starting in June. Should we put the new job that he is yet to start or just fill the previous one that he's ending this may? Since we are filling the form in may |

Thank u!! flaiboy: You can always edit it before you receive an ITA. If you get your ITA before the remarking is done, then you can add a letter of explanation. |

Good evening! I just opened an EE profile but while I did the eligibility check i was told that my husband wasn't eligible when I didn't put my ielts results and when I repeated the eligibility check again, this time around with my own ielts results included, I was now told that we are eligible. My question is; I want to do a remark for my ielts and I was told that I shouldn't use the ielts result until the remark is done. Can I still complete our express entry profile just with my husband's ielts (who is the principal applicant) or if I put my ielts is it possible to edit it when the result comes out since I'm not the principal applicant |

Good evening all.. Please has anyone used Iqas to evaluate their documents? My husband's ECA came out and he evaluated two certificates. Please what do they write as their evaluation. Also can we enter the pool with ielts result L7,R6.5,W7.5,S6.5 for hubby and L8,S6.5,W7.5,R6.5 for mine. Hubby is the principal applicant. But he's rewriting in June. Want to know if we can enter pool and then change it when the new result comes out |
