Today, was indeed a great day for all dog lovers/owners in Abuja. The Abuja Dog Walk was organised to promote the 2018 World Rabies Day Campaign. All Dog Lovers, Owners, Breeders, Vets, Trainers etc were invited to be part of this programme/walk.

This was to enable them show support in creating awareness on the importance of proper vaccination of dogs and a product launch of a vaccine called Primodog for the prevention & control of Parvo Viral Enteritis.

Theme of the walk: Share the message, Save a Life.

Date: Saturday, 29th September 2018

Time: 7am

Distance: 3km

Starting point: Riverplate Park Ahmadu Bello Way Wuse 2 Abuja.

Dress Code: Sport Wears

Items to come along with:

1. Dog Water Bottle/bowl
2. Dog poop plastic bag
3. Dog Treats
4. Proper leash/body harness & collar

Today is world rabies day!

It's World Rabies Day. Usually to mark the day we at KCR give talks here and take walks around the city in association with the Nigerian Veterinary Medicine Association. This year we may not be making the walk today as many have reasoned that it usually falls within the week and they can't get out of work to join.

Be that as it may, we must remember the deadly disease being marked world wide today and ensure our furry friends are all up-to date with their vaccination. Finally we should also give a thought to the other diseases ravishing our dogs in the tropics today such as the Parvo virus and dog distemper. May we learn to share how to keep our dogs safe from the dreaded diseases so they can last for us.

I think another mistake that freelancers make is not asking for enough time to deliver their project.

I suffered this myself. When I started as a freelancer, I accepted a job from one client who asked me to deliver within 2 days when the work ought to take at least 1 week to complete. This gave me alot of stress and affected the quality of the work because I wanted to keep to the deadline.

Don't accept work that the deadline is too close. If the client can't accept the completion time you give, then DONT take the work.

Meanwhile, apart from freelancing, see OTHER WAYS YOU CAN MAKE MONEY ONLINE.

1st of September 2018, was a very spectacular day in Botswana as lover of the German Shepherd Dog breed under the Umbrella of the German Shepherd Society of Botswana, organized a Dog walk/display. The main objective was to sensitize people on German Shepherd and to also Socialise and educate both owners and the dog. The event kicked off at 8:00am and ended by 12:00pm.
