RomanceRe: 7 Reasons Why People Kiss With Their Eyes Closed by loganx: 7:49am On Jan 09, 2016
People kiss with their eyes closed for a singular reason, TRUST. It's an unconscious act and if you are in doubt about your relationship, watch out for this sign. Never take anyone seriously who kisses with his or her eyes open.

The same way you have standard for your kind of husband so do guys for the kind of woman they want to marry. If you haven't met your standard, simply means you set yours above what your status can achieve. Better advice yourself and settle with the next single and decent guy that comes your way. Else, trust me, you are going to settle for the least available standard after 10 yrs.

RomanceRe: Opinion!! Why Do Handsome Men Marry Ugly Women?? by loganx: 7:47am On Oct 22, 2015
anyone who married high school or college sweetheart, married for love. anything outside that period is marriage of convenience. i had one of the most beautiful girls as my childhood love. i was committed, loyal and faithful, so was she, until she fell for the incentives of dating a working class guy when she was in 200L and I in my finals. it's was a major setback for us emotionally, even after we try to "fix" things, it just wasn't like it was before. there were serious trust issues and disconnections. i moved and never felt the same, committing to the same girl. anyway, long story short, it was time for marriage; i am good looking by the way, i just wasn't feeling that vibe/connection with the pretty ones i come across after i started working, the pretty ones feel they got the world at their feet, rude, mannerless, annoying and non committal...attitude of, "before you walk out that door, someone else gonna walk in". if you have a pretty girl or wife, and you guys didn't start dating in University days, trust me, she's in love with either your money or she just need you to have her seeds. marrying someone you meet after university education, when you start working and comfortable is all about marriage of convenience. That pretty girl you dated when you had nothing, she's the right one, that is if both of you don't F-Up that beautiful thing called love.
Conclusively, good looking guys would settle for not so good looking girls because they are well behaved. They behave like a woman and remind you of all the nurture you got from your mom. they are ready to keep a "Home". so, we tend to settle for the lesser devil. smart choice you will call it.
CrimeRe: FESTAC Robbery: Police Shifts Blame To Navy, Airforce by loganx: 2:38pm On Oct 16, 2015
our police needs training on Special Weapons And Tactics and they also need funding.
Most importantly, they need special training for Snipers squad, either in the US, China or Russia.
afterwards, get a fully ready SWAT team in each area command across the country.
Purchase and place an Helicopter with night vision and infrared for each senatorial constituency (there are about 3 in each state).
The helicopters will always be on standby to airlift SWAT in to combat zones during robbery attacks.
Snipers will be dropped off on roof tops of buildings around attack perimeter.
Snipers will provide cover for SWAT approaching attack zone
use major cities as pioneers and testing for this project.
An average fully loaded combat ready Police Helicopter cost about $7m.
And don't forget to increase their salaries and provide decent accommodation, welfare, basic and decent education for their kids, good retirement package. spend pretty decent money to get pretty decent results.
The SWAT and Helicopters will also be used in chasing Robbers on highways at a very safe altitude giving the SWAT on ground information about the robbers maneuvering.
Take away AK47 from policemen roaming about killing innocent citizens, the best a policeman could move around with is a handgun, except on a special mission to engage fully armed criminals.
I really don't understand what our government and security operatives are doing
solving problems is not rocket science, it is common sense

The stolen wealth of all the past military heads of state put together does not amount to what was looted by a single democratically SELECTED president from OBJ to GEJ. the military still had control, you cannot take anything not sanctioned by the C-in-C. the civilian governments and house of assembly members had no control, it's corruption was a brazen act, it was a competition of who stole the most during GEJ tenure.

HealthRe: Help! 5 Miscarriages In 2.5years Of Marriage. by loganx: 6:54pm On Mar 10, 2015
Dear worriedhusband,
i have been married since 1st quarter of 2012. unfortunately i had this same experience but not for this long as my wife had a miscarriage about 5 months after our wedding.
i started asking questions at any hospital we visited or from the doctors relatives/friends i have.
something that really stood out during my ordeal in questioning nature, was the fact that almost 60% of the adults i interacted with had encountered similar incidents of miscarriage. but no one could explain why...of course there were loads of medical excuses for this which i am not refuting.
However, God sent my Father-in-law to me, who explained the possible situation/solution and admitted that he suffered similar fate with my mother-in-law (my wife's mom). he was able to overcome this when an elderly relative intervened and took his then pregnant wife far away from him, and the baby stayed.
the solution to the problem as he advised was, from the 2 month of pregnancy... STAY AWAY FROM SEX, from the 6th to 8th month, you can continue having sex, for this too is encourage for smooth delivery. you see my brother, at this stage, some cervix, virginal or womb are not strong enough to handle any disturbance (trusting during sex), pls this is my theory and speculation.
i have another brother-in-law (married to my wife's sister), he had the same issues, until of course advise was given to him on how to handle this.
my brother, my advise might sound funny as it was based on elderly and non-scientific speculations , trust me, i found it priceless. it is not asking much other than avoid sex for a while to see if that will work as a solution.
As i speak to you, i am blessed with a cute prince who is almost 2 yrs old and of course by the special grace of Allah, the 2nd one is on the way.
remain blessed and good luck.

Jarus, i read your so called chat with Sanusi, he needs prove that his action would lead to Inflation, abi?
simple; call him back and ask him if he carries any coin around with him or he could ask all the employees in CBN if any of them can produce a coin from their wallet, if he gets a single coin, then he can proceed with his policy..
the fact that you are educated and brilliant doesn't mean you are intelligent...my great grandfather could explain simple economics to make profits from the harvest on his farms than the crop of self serving bigots we have in government.

PropertiesRe: Challenge Unfair Rent Hike: Lagos State Govt Urged Tenants by loganx: 7:29pm On Sep 26, 2011
basic principles of economics, provide simple and cheap housing for citizens.
cheap available mortgage for employed individuals with steady income
these are common basic steps to tackle housing issues.
a steady employed individual or married couple have no business paying rent, what they should be paying is mortgage.
all these will reduce house rent,
i see people pay up to between 600,000 to 1,000,000.00 as rent, if you buy a house on mortgage and pay 1m per yr for 20 yrs, that is 20m and the house is yours'

all these you mentioned is supposed to be carried out by the police.
all clues & evidence gathered have been handed over to the police, trust me it's a bucket-full of clues.
the police are just interested in collecting bail money and not even asking these guys questions, rather asking them to come twice every week and collecting money from them each time
these pictures are concrete connection back to the guys,
it's a very easy case to crack, if the police weren't sleeping on the case.
Like you know, i can't take laws into my own hands, but this "little miss" who's pictures we have here, might just lead us back to them 'cos
i'm banking on the possibility that she was used, which will make her call names
PoliticsRe: Help: Clues At Ibadan To Help Resolve A Robbery Case by loganx(op): 4:58pm On Aug 11, 2011
suspects are already in police investigation
suspects lives in the same compound that they robbed (burgled), not as tenants but as hangers on.
Fact, 2 of the suspects has direct link to Ibadan, ie, they travel to IBADAN often, which is a logical reason for the electronics and other stuff stolen winding up at IBADAN about 7 hours after theft. Also, one of the boys went missing immediately the items were stolen.
putting all the puzzles together with a direct link is what is left, and the picture provides that.
the ATM use drew the connection to IBADAN, and the boys go to IBADAN, plus other clues, this is about the only one that has a human face to the whole theft.
PoliticsRe: Help: Clues At Ibadan To Help Resolve A Robbery Case by loganx(op): 4:35pm On Aug 11, 2011
the cards are just part of the incident, properties were stolen at the dead of the night before they proceeded straight to IBADAN.
Lady in question might not even know what is at stake, she is just a means of tracking back the thieves, which clearly lives within the same area (compound of the apartment they bugled).
they did not succeed with the accounts, but they tried using the cards on that terminal at IBADAN
