Our very own super star, Adesua Etomi-Wellington is one of the four women on the cover of Vogue US magazine’s latest issue.

The April 2019 issue is tagged “The Global Issue” and has two covers celebrating 14 global superstars from 14 different countries.

"The Nigerian actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington can’t walk down the street in Lagos without getting mobbed, and if she’s with her husband, the actor Banky Wellington, forget it—a trip to the grocery store launches a thousand selfies. But unlike some of her cohorts on the shoot, she’s more of a third-culture kid, born in Nigeria and raised mainly in England. (She speaks in two fluent accents—Lagos and the British Midlands.) She went to school in Coventry, studied drama at University of Wolverhampton, and then got a nine-to-five job with the fashion arm of a large supermarket chain. It was then that, as she puts it, “I can’t explain it—I felt I had to go back to Nigeria.”

That was toward the end of 2012, and in the past six years or so she has become one of the biggest stars in Nollywood, Nigeria’s relatively young film industry. The Wedding Party (2016), a colorful and witty romantic comedy in which she plays the lead opposite Wellington, was the highest-grossing film in the history of Nigerian cinema, until it was eclipsed by its sequel, which also starred Etomi-Wellington. In fact, she points out, of the four films that have done best for the relatively young industry, she is in three. “I love, love, love Nollywood,” Etomi-Wellington says brightly over tea and biscuits at the shoot. “I feel like she’s my baby, and it’s my responsibility, along with a lot of other performers, to grow her.”"

Samuel Olatunji, a talented Public Relations specialist, has shared his depression story with the world.

According to Samuel also known as Big Sam, 8-years ago, he almost took his own life after things began to go wrong in his business.

”I Almost Committed Suicide


About eight years ago, I never used to get broke. The least I would have per time would be 100k (when Im broke). I moved to a bigger office and started to dream of conquering more territories. But life had other plans. Life started happening to me. All of a sudden, I started getting broke to the point of not having N1000. Business started dying, my so beautiful life began to witness the ugly side of it. I was flummoxed, scared, and tired.

I initially thought I got my planning wrong, I replanned, restrategize and read all the books I could.

Let me not forget the many days of fasting, I prayed. Perhaps I had sinned. I stayed away from sins and friends that could lead me into temptation. I worshipped and did all spiritual works, yet things were the same.

I started failing in meeting my basic obligations, started owing salary and was owing two banks. It was as if all elements of life combined to deal with me. Heaven was shut. I became lost. People that ought to understand became rumour mongers. I was down and out.

My life became a hot mess. I could not even pray anymore, my heavy heart couldn’t put words together. Everything was static. I wanted peace yet chaos was all I had.

One Sunday morning as I was preparing to go to church, I thought suicide would be a better option. Thought ending it all would be better. I will at least have some measure of peace, the peace I desperately wanted.

Somehow, I didn’t follow through with the plan to kill myself. I made some major decisions and let God play his role as God. I left the office and worked day and night. God came through as usual. I have gone on to handle PR for major events and celebrities, manage special talents and two movies I executive produced (The Ghost and The Tout (co-owned) and Seven and a Half Dates were part of top 20 box office hits of 2018). If I had killed myself. Many dreams would have died. There would be no new chapter to write.

Please don’t let life or the devil win. Keep working on your life. This is a phase of life, it will pass. Don’t commit that suicide, give yourself a second chance. Like phoenix, you will rise from your ashes. Good morning. Bigsam”

Tricyclist arrested while procuring abortion for a 14-yr-old girl he impregnated .

Samuel, a commercial tricycle rider, has been arrested by the police in Warri, Delta State, while in the process of procuring abortion for a 14-year-old girl he impregnated.

According to activist Gwamnishu, the suspect was arrested after a nurse hinted him about the development. .

The victim reportedly revealed that she was raped by Samuel, who is her neighbor, and she showed the injury she sustained while trying to escape on the said day.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect’s elder brother also had carnal knowledge of the underage girl. The police have now taken over the case.

Singer and dancer Ciara is one stunning woman.

The mom of two looked every inch breathtaking in a bikini as she vacationed with her family in Brazil.

Ciara who married Ruseel Wilson back in 2016, opened up during an interview on how they abstained from sex until they tied the knot.

In her words;

“It definitely was a huge challenge because
 I look at my husband and go, ‘Ooh!’ I’m human…we’re human!” she said. “But the cool thing about us is that we’re equally yoked. It makes a difference when you share the same views. We were able 
to be lock and step from day one.”

On ending her relationship with former fiance, Ciara in an interview said;

“I took a moment to pause and to really reflect on the journey and where I was at that moment of even looking at love again,” she tells the publication. “I think that it’s really important for [women] to know exactly what we want and be clear about it and also be patient.”

“I’m a believer in seeing it, speaking it, and writing it down,” she explains.

“I didn’t know I was going to meet my husband when I did, and that was really a blessing and I believe it was God’s timing. But I was patient and was willing to be still for as long as I needed to have the best partner I could have in my life.”

The couple who have been married for more than two yeas now have remained a favourite of millions across the globe.

They welomed their daughter Sienna in 2017 and Ciara shared the citing news via her page writing;
