Your application has been sent to the right department and i will like to inform you that any transfer applicant might take up to 10 working days to get the admission letter cos it has to pass tru some head of departments to exempt some courses for you and i know your application is transfer application so relax your mind your admission letter will be out surely next week, i do receive more than 20 applications weekly from diffrent countries and i ensured i follow up. As soon as your application is out i shall send to you and get you scholarship as well. Dont worry about names we are sending to embassy, these are names of admitted EMU students that already paid there fees and i must tell you each semester we send names many times to embassy.

As soon as student make payment to EMU and send us payment slip, we shall trace the payment and confirm it and then send the CONFIRMATION LETTER to the student. Wire transfer is not a one day JOB it might take 3 to 5days to get all traced. I personally went to the account Room yesterday to follow up your cousin payment which i found and i have sent him his CONFIRMATION LETTER today, kindly ask him to check his email.

We shall start sending names to embassy starting from 20th of DEc 2010, so all EMU prospective students that had paid can start preparing their visa documentations and proceed to embassy after the above said date, and others that are yet to pay shuld make payment as soon as possible so we can send their names asap.

I'm still expecting a resonse as per my application. I would be paying my tution within 24hrs of getting my admission letter but i don't know if I would still be able to meet up with the names the school would be sending to the embassy for the feb admission? I'm jst curious.

Hi. I submitted my application on the 23rd of november and got a text on friday 3rd Dec to come pick up on monday. Considering that I applied previously in august for a sept in take with d same documents or that the january window is not as hectic as september, could that b why it came out so fast? All i'm saying is. .its risky, BHC has seen it all with Nigerians, you are not the only person who has done/plan to do it, some get away with it and some are not say lucky. I'm not discouraging or encouraging u to do it.
The most important thing is that u are going to have the maintenance fees b4 traveling. Good luck.

Documents needed to show money available to the student
A Tier 4 (General) student must show that he/she has held the required money for a consecutive 28 day period (finishing on the date of the closing balance) ending no more than 1 month before his/her application.
Where a student is providing evidence of maintenance from a single account, we will always assess the funds available to the student from the closing balance given on the document provided as evidence. CULLED FROM tier 4 guidance

I'm sorry if i'm pushing it too hard but don't you think if they want it to be there during the application period they won't specify that the closing balance shouldn't end more than one month before one's application.?

My maintanace fee would be available on a later date and I can't wait till then so I dnt get trapped in the imminent immigration change. it would definitely be available to me before I depart cos I understand the UK is not easy at all for now,

thanks for the prompt response. d embassy requires d maintanance fee to be kept for 28days n it must not end more than one month prior to the day u apply, I dnt think they care if the money is withdrawn afterwards hence my reason to use my tution as maintanance fee, print d statement after d 28days, pay my fees,get my CAS n then apply before the one month expires. Do you think the embassy wud ask the bank if the money is still in my acct as at the time of my application? I'm jst asking to be on the safer side. thanks as i anticipate your reply.

Justwise please can u shed more light on this? I intend using my tution as my maintainance fee and after the 28days i'll print the statement, pay my fees and apply to the embassy within 2weeks or at most 3weeks. Please justwise and others shud advise please.

hw re u sure u wil get your cas on time? some sch takes 2 - 3 weeks, some days, i got mine within 3days, or so

might b worth tryin, but its a risk, which i think i might be worth it, because come april 2011, immigration law is changing, and it wud affect students,
depends on the course u intend to study, if it is below degree, u had better hurry up, if it is degree and above, then the changes might not really affect u, but bear in mind, that there wil be a shake up, come april 2011 in uk immigration law

all in all, u can give it a gamble, but make sure the statement closing date date is is not more than one month prior to the date of your submission, infact i wud suggest 2 weeks, to reduce suspision

if u want to transfer your fund via air chioce, make sure u go in the morn, like 8am, so by 12noon, the funds has been deposited in your sch account, and the sch can confirm it the next day, and start processing your cas

almost all bank in naija, ve provision for payment sch fees abroad, if u dont ve a domicillairy account,
u can work into your bank and ask

i used a reputable bureau de change and air ticket agent in ikeja lagos, called airchoice, they money got transfered within 4 hours,
am not advertising cos i dont know them personally, but i transfered about 9kpounds, when i was in naija, and bought my ticket with them, not the first time though, they re just on opebi link bridge from oregun, they sell tickets, its air choice travel agency before chicken republic or so,
they ve an office in london, that actualy does the payment, so its nt a transfer, they just collect the pounds value from u, and call thier office to credit your sch's account with your information,

other big travel agency might be doing it also,

better stil, u can also use, visa agents, like pfl, bcie and the rest, but u might ve to pay agency fee i think

Nigeria is an unequal society simply because, the North were the civil war victors and they built an unfair country around military representation; their kids joined the army or FG, while Southern kids got an education. Today, we live in a society that is democratic and the brute force of the army has been made ineffective as a force to move the country in any direction; as a result, the North is suffering massively.

It might sound funny to some, but the solution to 90% of Nigeria's problem is to massively educate Northerners.
Any other line of action is just going to further complicate matters. In the meantime, Natural order will take its cause.

I really hope that Jonathan can formulate a comprehensive programme of education for the North, post 2011, its the only way forward and I feel it is best for a Southerner to carry out that task.

from what u said, u probably dont need to be a graduate to study your course in advance diploma level, and your school was certified with your qualifcation before giving u addmisiion,

i will say, whatever is on your CAS, as the document accessing by the institution before giving u an unconditional offer, should be included,

if u havent completed your degree, it simply means, u re an undergraduate, for simplicity,


if u re sch as accessed your qualification, wit that transcript, it will be stated in your CAS,
whatever, qualifcation stated in your CAS, for your addmission, is what u shud include, if u were given an admission based on that transcript, go ahead and include it,


your CAS should state something, what exactly is there, as a means of accessing your qualification

what he means by that is you should get original transcript of you school in your hand, the school can address it to any body, BHC or whoever,
the most important thing is to have the original transcript of your degree from you school, a signed,stamped copy, schowing your name, class of degree, name of awarding institution and date of award of degree,

now most schools wouldnt give u the transcript in your hand, infact all school, so u might want to grease the elbow of whoever, is in charge, so they can give it to you,
better still, u might tell them to address it to whoever, and then ve it sent to your own post address, as if that is the organization postal addres,
the main thing is ve your original transcript submitted,

u dont submit it in enclosed envelope, BHC isnt interested in who it was address to, infact u dont need to submit it with the letter with it,

anyhow u want to do it, submit orginal copies of your transcript, not sealing them up in any envelope, not sure what inside, maybe the school even made a mistake.

the problem is this, I was supposed to have graduated in 2008 but i had 2 extra years n still I failed the same course and the university authorities have not decided whether to graduate me or not which means I am hanging in the balance.{I'm neither an undergraduate nor a graduate at least for now}
i applied for and got my transcript last year detailing my result up till june last year{I still did an extra year in sch up till june 2010} and I want to know if i can still apply to the embassy with this transcript, the UK college gave me admission for an advanced diploma course based on this transcript.
what should I fill in the visa application form? should i say I have graduated or I'm still an undergraduate? if i say i have graduated,won't I need to produce my certificate? Please I need serious clarifications on this.

I just scrolled up again and saw the extent of your concerns, if your educational sponsor has offered you admission based on your transcript only and lists just that in your CAS as the documentary evidence they used in making their decision, you need not worry, the embassy will scrutinize the things in your CAS.The only snag might be when they proceed to verify the transcript from your nigerian university

its quite a unique situation but ALL things are possible to those who believe

@lolatom.you don't need to send a copy of your transcript to the Embassy. Get your transcript, but it should be fully addressed to the BHC, submit it with your application.make sure u don't submit it enclosed in envelope.
