[I used Doc.Joel Bonaparte quote author=OnJosh1 post=64708398]Please people of GOD can anyone recommend a good Pediatrician for circumcision here in Houston? Had my baby at Oakbend. Or should I simply wait till we get to Nigeria? Baby will be 6weeks then. I shudder at the thought of the pain but I'm worried about doing it twice as I've heard not so good reports about circumcision done here. My brother's baby and my friend's baby had to be redone back home in Nigeria after first attempt here in Houston and El Paso respectively were not done properly... Not the same hospitals though.

Pls pls I appreciate your prompt response. [/quote]

Hi @Ada88 .... Yes iv had PIH with both my pregnancies and have delivered safely but having also cried just this past week because a lady I know with this same PIH/Pre eclampsia had to deliver her child at 27weeks and eventually bury same I can tell you honestly that this is a very personal journey!

Having said that here are my personal tips:
- Make sure you are seeing doctors who know whatssap... As in who know their work. If possible not only gynecologists at this point.
- Follow your doctors instructions carefully. This is not the time to mess with your drugs or with google.
- I'm currently on labetalol And Aldomet because of my range and history... check your bp frequently at home to ensure that only labetalol in the doses you are using is doing the job.
- it's time for some lifestyle changes. Cut of salt and all fast foods, yes all! Not the time for Sfc and co, they have too much salt in their food. Also start taking walks if you haven't been doing so.
- Stop worrying about the BP or about anything for that matter.Trust me the less you worry the lower your BP and vice versa.
- If manages well there's no reason you can't stay in Nigeria till 34/35 weeks... However pls inform your doctor in the US immediately you arriveof your history.
- There's a 95% chance that you will be induced. This is because typically as the weeks advance your BP does same regardless of drug use so again you know your levels and the best time to leave Naija... you shall most likely not get to 40 weeks.
- Because of point above, there's a higher chance of CS if your doctor chooses that route or if you or your baby do not respond well to inducing... keep an a open mind. And that being said pls pay for epidural oh... coz most times the tin can take longer than the average.
- All in all you will do just fine! Just take closer care of yourself and environment, watch what you eat and don't be careless with meds or with yourself generally
- And finally pray and trust God who has successfully seen millions of women with the same condition through! You will testify this year IJN, Amen.

Hope this helped... Sorry for any typos... can't go back to edit. Happy Bumping!
God bless you#

I don't think this is a big deal in my opinion. You've gone to the US before and this is what matters most, since it's a visa renewal.

thanks for the response really appreciate.....

El paso mums, please advise on accomodation will be appreciated.

Intown is not bad,you have other mamas to interact with.....used Elpaso for my first child and that was one of the things that made it fun.
