Being unnecessarily bombastic is not needed in this platform filled with illiterates and semi illiterates. Writing your posts with plain english, or preferably pidgin english is all what is needed for your readers to understand.

NOETHNICITY: I can’t speak on this matter as I am not a Kogite and didn’t vote for her in the first place. However, if those who did vote for her now choose to initiate a recall, as long as they are acting within their constitutional rights, I have no objection.
The only people with a legitimate reason to feel aggrieved are the Kogites who supported her election but oppose her recall. They have every right to challenge the process and explore lawful means to resist it.
Beyond that, if you are not a Kogite and still oppose the recall, then you are either not a true democrat or simply a hypocrite who complains only when a process doesn’t align with your narrative. Well said |

Kemetian: YOUR SO-CALLED HIGH LIVING STANDARD WAS BASED ON A LIE.
A FALSE LIFE ENABLED BY RUINOUS FUEL SUBSIDIES THAT NEARLY BANKRUPTED THE NATION.
How can you be a mono-product economy and be SUBSIDISING the product?
Where then is the money to grow your economy, or diversify away from the mono-product?
Now we have escaped the claws of subsidies and are building GENUINE WEALTH.
YOUR JOB should be brainstorming on how to capitalise on this new dispensation instead of this needless crying over spilt milk. Not true. In 2014, when Nigeria's GDP per capita peaked at $3,223, the fuel subsidy was only N1.2 trillion. By 2022, it had ballooned to N4.4 trillion, yet GDP per capita was significantly lower at around $2,163. Now, even after removing subsidies entirely, GDP per capita is projected to fall to $835 by 2025. If subsidies were the main factor distorting our economic reality, we should have seen higher GDP per capita, not lower. There is an entire report from PWC on this: https://www.pwc.com/ng/en/assets/pdf/fuel-subsidy-in-nigeria-issues-challenges-and-the-way-forward.pdf

Politics › Nigeria's Citizens 74% Poorer Than A Decade Ago by lomaxx(op): 2:26am On Feb 07, 2025 |
Nigeria's GDP per capita has plunged catastrophically from its peak of $3,223 in 2014 to a projected $835 by 2025, according to recently published data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This is an economic freefall that has wiped out 20 years of progress. This collapse means the average Nigerian is now effectively 74% poorer than they were in 2014. Without immediate and dramatic intervention, Nigeria risks setting its economic progress back by a quarter century, leaving an entire generation economically worse off than their parents. The country that once proudly claimed the title of Africa's largest economy is now witnessing one of the most dramatic collapses in living standards in recent history.
