dominique: North African FAs have promised to deal with Nigeria following our squabble with with Libya, they sure won't vote for a Nigerian especially with one of their own on contention . I honestly don't see southern African FA voting for Nigerian, forget Tinubu's hobnobning with Ramaphosa, the bad blood is still very present especially following Chidimma saga. If Lookman does not win, it's not because he's underserving but because of the beef a lot of countries have for Nigeria which might have crept into their FAs. What are you even talking about? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Was David Abioye Spiritual Prowess Being Stifled Under Oyedepo All These Years? by lomaxx: 5:23am On Nov 18, 2024 |
jesusjnr2020: It's a quite similar feeling I usually had whenever I heard Paul Enenche speaking despite hearing that Oyedepo was his mentor.
He appeared to have a different mindset from Oyedepo from the way he sounded and acted very differently apart from a few occasions.
I hardly heard him teach the antichrist prosperity gospel and its heresies about tithing as was the usual of David Oyedepo and that David Ibiyeomie )who has proven overtime to be a much worse version of David Oyedepo). Hence when I see them together I wonder how they possibly agree despite the glaring differences, however didn't allow that association to affect my opinion of Paul Enenche, because I am not one driven by personal sentiments but Truth which is based Christ's teachings.
However Paul Enenche left early to start his own ministry, which perhaps helped him not to be stifled as David Abioye, but to shone brightly and impact the worldore or less to the fullest.
So could David Abioye have also done same thing?
Going by what later happened to him (enforced retirement) despite his loyalty and unwavering service to Oyedepo ministry all those years, the answer is probably in the affirmative.
God bless. Agreed |

HeatSeeker: You over think things . You should learn to just go with the flow on some issues and stop trying to apply logic or scientific knowledge on every damn thing. You think here is very unnecessary. There is no science in what he is saying. Except maybe the part that protein-rich foods are considered acidic. |
Food › Re: by lomaxx: 3:08am On Aug 26, 2024 |
IAmHim1: and no, Balanced diet is a scam that either sends you to the hospital for treatment or to your grave
Because carbohydrate SHOULD NEVER be consumed with protein
Why?
Carbohydrates= Alkaline food
Protein= Acidic food
Guess what happens whenn you mix alkaline and Acid
It neutralizes!
Your combo of bread+ egg, rice + beans, rice + chicken, beer + chicken...all sending you ti the grave slowly
You'd think your schools and hospitals would teach you this already The classification of all carbohydrates as alkaline and all proteins as acidic is an oversimplification. Carbohydrate grains can be acidic (e.g., pasta, white bread). When you mix alkaline and acidic substances, they can neutralize each other to some extent. However, this is also another oversimplification. The body maintains a tightly regulated pH balance through various mechanisms. |

IAmHim1: Now what does science Tell us about Eba/ Fufu Digestion?
Digestion of carbohydrate BEGINS IN THE MOUTH FIRST
This means your eba and Fufu have to be thoroughly exposed to saliva(pytalin) which is found in the mouth
BUT YOU ROLL YOUR EBA AND FUFU INTO A BALL!
HOW IS THE SALIVA GOING TO WORK WHEN THE SURFACE AREA OF YOUR EBA/FUFU MOULD won't allow it to properly
still typing Salivary amylase in ptyalin is not the only amylase. Pancreatic amylase is available and more abundant, and most of the starch digestion is done by pancreatic amylase. Besides, salivary amylase has a short contact time with starchy food, so I would not expect much; and as it gets into the stomach when swallowed, it is deactivated by the acidity of gastric juices. |
