Yes Glaucoma is hereditary.
But unlike regular hereditary diseases, it makes sure the oil touches every branch on the genetic tree.

For example.
If A suffers from Glaucoma, A's first cousin will too. And if A's first cousin does, his nephew will too.
If A's first cousin's nephew gets glaucoma, then his grandchild could too.

So it is indirectly hereditary.
It can not be cured because it is caused by a damage to the eye nerves due to increased occular pressure.
It can only be managed if detected early, also note that nerve damages caused by Glaucoma are non reversible.
These nerve damages deteriorate till you eventually stop seeing evils.

Never in the history of Nigeria has there been a rise in glaucoma as we have it today.
This is because, 'Man dey see too many things these days' unlike in the past.

How can a man watch porn, ejaculate frequently with his eyes squinting each time he does.
Or walk on the streets seeing different shapes of yanshes and encountering police brutality without his eye pressure rising?

The only way to prevent Glaucoma is by resting your eyes a bit more.
Don't open your eyes too wide when you see big yansh and don't close your eyes too tight if you want to cum.
Don't also wake up at night to read your partner's WhatsApp messages because a High Blood Pressure can also trigger Glaucoma.

Most importantly, visit an eye clinic periodically for routine checks because Glaucoma can wake up one morning and remember your address.
