Alhamdulillah! My offer landed yesterday 05.34. Training starts 01/12/2013.

snazzyjay: Yea, I served in cbn and opportuned to write the test of 26th august 2012. Although, the process was marred wt some irregularities. No regrets since I ve somefin doing @ d moment.
The pay structure is ok although for ss1 n ss2 it may not be as juicy as u fink
Ss1 is 85k per month, as at 2012 that I left the bank
Ss2 is 65k per month
Every month u get domestic allowance aside ur monthly pay. For ss1 its 42k n ss2 is 26k
Yearly, u get upfront of N1.3m for ss2 and N1.9m for ss1.
Also productivity allowance which varies depending on wat ur supervising manager grade u. I hope dis satisfy ur question as regards pay package. Congrats for the inductees

The monthly pay is small but the upfront is good. With 1.9m you can start something good for the future. They also pay lunch allowance of more than 20k per month. When you add productivity and leave allowances that comes in bulk; you don become millonaire. You can also get 13th month in Dec. The most important thing is to use the money wisely.

Finetalk: Not quite true. SS or SS2 is the entry level. People with Masters or additional professional qualification are given SS1 just to recognize that. Both grades are the same and treated same way.

@finetalk thank you for the info. Pls. what is the grade for 7years experience in financial institution? I was told that,they consider relevance of an individual experience to what CBN does in placement. Be that as it may, 7 yrs experience in financial institution in not the same as 7 yrs in civil service or lecturing. Pls. help us confirm this.

Goro123: All those called for induction are for entry level. Though many were invited to undergo medical screening, experienced hire has been suspended till January 2014. Some that underwent the screening have been contacted with reasons why they haven't received their offer of appointment at this time.

Thanks @Goro123 for the info; Pls. how do you know that induction for experienced hire has been suspended until Jan. 2014? I thought they want to conclude before Jan. 2014.

@yayoxus what was the grade offered to the guy with 7yrs experience?

Pls. who know the criteria CBN used in grading?

I was told that offer has started droping. Who can confirm Pls.?

Guys open ur minds; there are many organisations that are doing better. CBN is overrated.

I have done mine and today is the last day.

Guys let us target tomorrow for another invite. Invite were dispatch on the 5/10/2013 and 12/10/2013 both days were saturdays. And the last medical invite would be concluded today 25/10/2013. So let us hope for another batch tomorrow 26/10/2013.

Guys, check ur emails, my friend whom did interview in march received a mail from CBN requesting him to send cv and credentials. The mail was sent around 4.48pm yesterday wednesday 02/10/13.

Just got an info from a friend that the CBN will soon call for medicals for those that have done the interview. According to him, in a matter of days.

The friend works with the CBN. The info was also confirmed by one of my relations who is a SA to a State Governor.

Please I will like to know from anyone if he/she has gotten the same info. Please this is only an information, if the CBN doesn't call in the next few days we shouldn't be sad as God Almighty will make the CBN to call us at the right time.

@ welgate, well done for the info but how can you allude to SA to state Governor as your confirmation? It has even reduce the cridibility of your story. You can only confirm from SA to CBN Governor for us to believe.

Since the March, 2013 interview and subsequent aptitude tests and interviews that followed most of the information as regards when applicants for the operations cadre will be called has been scanty. I was reliably told by an insider that, nobody was called for medicals; consequent upon this;I recommend that Nj4life should be banned from this forum for misleading us. Operator pls. expunge or disable his profile from this thread and deny him previledge to view, comment or make any input on this thread. Guys pls. concur.

Only two people so far; those that know anyone that received medical invite should please let the forum know. This will authenticate the two guys position.

@naija4life i don't want to doubt your story but what i know is that, CBN doesn't call for medical invitation, rather they send mail. I don't know why your own is exception.
