The govt.job will be yours & yours only, but your uncle's business is his & his only and you'll only be a caretaker there. If he's not pleased by you, he could fire you at any time & there's no job security in a business u're managing for someone. Therefore, take the govt.job where u won't be threatened by job insecurity. And u could run your uncle's biz simultaneously with your govt. Job.

Baba freight business no easy like that oo ..Take your job and u can still run the clearing and forwarding remotely. You can visit once in a while ..like twice a week and just put someone in charge ..Na govt work na ...nobody will monitor u like that ...

I have two opportunities now at the moment. the first is a job offer in the ministry of education of my state. another one is that my uncle based abroad is about to start a freight ( clearing and forwarding) business in lagos and he wants me to be in charge of the company. I have not started any because I am yet to complete my NYSC program. please, help me to make a good choice.

can I do the two together?? is the freight business lucrative enough that I can comfortably make a living from it?? or should I face the govt work and forget the business.?? please help me with ur advice.

The best advice on this thread thus far... She needs to come to terms with herself, and her past. She shouldn't attribute it to a mere human (her man). She's obviously triggered by it so she should seek counselling services. Her man is a nice guy, but she shouldn't worship him.

He just wants her to come to terms with it, and to talk about it is the best cure.

Let me start this way, many of the guys and ladys bashing you here are worst than you. I remember one of my ex who lost her virginity at age 16 and we met when she was 19, meanwhile, she has slept with over 22 guys and men, yet she's a NO PREMARITAL SEX gang and slay queen. Don't let them make you feel bad, they are even worst than you.

Back to my starting point, a man that truly loves you and knows your weaknesses will NOT want to expose you. He will find all means to protect you.

You don't want to loose him right, either you open your secret or not, he will still leaves you. I can bet that with you. So, start preparing for the worst already.

A friend just narrated her ordeal to me. She is seriously in need of advice. Let me personalise the story for proper understanding. This is her words:


I have lived a wayward life in the past, I was so sexually promiscuous. Infact, I had slept with almost 30 men.(it was that bad. I can't really resist sex advances.) I continued like that till last year when I slept with a guy but fortunately for me he discovered my weakness and he determined not to take it as advantage to himself but saw the need to change me.

In the process, I fell in love with him and we started dating. In the bid to change me, he queried my past and initially, I used to lie about it and he would discovered the truth and get angry with me and said I was lying bcus I was stil not ready to change. But all I know is dat since he came to my life, he has changed a lot of things and I love the life I am living now. (I have not slept with another man in the last 7months, infact, I detest promiscuity now)
So we continued like that till I was able to soberly tell him everything about my past(I mean all). He was pained for lying to him in the past about everytin. So, he gave me two conditions that I should pick one bfr he can forgive me.
(1.) I should inform atleast one person amongst my family members about my past life and ask the person to forgive for being a reproach to the family.


(2.) That I should speak to a religious person (a Rev. Sister) about my past.

The two conditions are so hard bcus 1, my father is a moralist and my family members trust me so much. Some of this pple I av slept with are well known to them. They include our family doctor, clargy man etc.

2. The condition two, the religion person he mentioned know most of them too and one of her family member is even among.

Please, help me. I dont want to loose him bcus he has helped me to change my ways overtime. His conditions are hard as well. Please advise me. Bashing is allowed please but advise me.
