hopefulLandlord: hopefulLandlord:Is that all?! This crush you have on me is unhealthy! If it were offline, I'd get a restraining order against you. -Lord |
pu7pl3:And one of those "only three" losses is one that kicks us out of the CdR. If we're kicked out of the UCL, it'd also be one of a few losses. You're sounding like a broken record. Which is no surprise really. Swissh:Direct that to the other camp. Once upon a time on this thread, everyone was free to have their misgivings. You could critique a lineup, form, players, a coach's tactics (or lack thereof), the front office; but come kickoff everyone bands together to give the team full support. After all is said and done, there are no brooding or groveling. Chapter is closed, everyone moves on, unto the next game. #HalaMadrid. Now, heaven forbid you question anything. That means you expect the worst for the team. You either have Perez sh*t on your nose or you're not a true Madridista. And after any positive run, some misguided elements will make it a point to raise dust. Well f*ck that! After our third UCL triumph, there was almost unanimous agreement we needed to beef things up for the next season. And when none of that occurred over the summer, the same questionable character hopefulLandlord made it seem like disagreeing with Perez decision to not overhaul made one Anti-Madrid. In his words, we were going to win the UCL. When we didn't, he crawled into his hole like the roach he is. Same last season, there was also the J Lo episode with Spanish favoritism. You would think that with hopefulLandlord's protectionism of J Lo decision making; that he somehow would veto any decision to sack J Lo. When J Lo was let go, he was AWOL while several of us conceded that it wasn't all J Lo's fault and wished him well. When the immediate good run under Solari started, guess what. The roach emerged from the shadows to troll. Then with haste returned back to his cocoon when everything fell apart in that uneventful Black Week. It's a pattern that continues even now. And he's recruited new minions like this purple whatever character. If we get sent out of the UCL by Man City, you can bet your hat the S.O.B will lose his tongue. I can't for the life of me understand what kind of vindictive m'fucker will use makeshift results to make an asinine point when things are still rocky. We almost crashed out of the UCL in the group stages, can't even give Barcelona a respectable distance in the league even with the sh*t season they're having, and we've lost our fear factor in the UCL finals stages. But trolling a section of the fan base you disagree with on principle is more important. Well if that's the BS they want to spout, I'd oblige them. I was minding my business when my name was name-dropped, that wasn't petty. Now you want to claim sophisticated when Zidane fails in his 4th Cup run in a row pushing the much-desired treble to yet another season. -Lord |
pu7pl3:Same way you and that other bozo were waiting for us to win matches so you guys can reply me... Fair weather characters! -Lord |
pu7pl3:You were saying? Counting chickens before they hatch. What we see from the floor, you no fit c if you climb Iroko. -Lord |
pu7pl3:You mean same streak that's courtesy of the bald one who he happened upon by accident? That's about the only feather in his cap. All his gambling had made us for the most part is an almost club. And I've been nitpicking Perez even while Ronaldo was here. His awful decision making is not recent. The earlier he GTFO the club, the better. That's my position. If digesting that gives you diarrhea, go to CVS. -Lord |
pu7pl3:The "errant gambles" have also won us just 2 league titles in the last 10 years. Sporting wise, Manchester United has been sh*t for a long time now, they're still one of the most valuable clubs; so pardon me if I'm not giddy about "keeping us on top of the Deloitte money league for years." RM is a big club. It has been a big club. It will remain a big club after your daddy is yanked out the Presidency. Anyone with a tinge of foresight would have prevented last year or at least assuaged it. A couple of gambles later, the players turn up, we have a change in fortunes, and you guys are making it seem like it's a genius stroke. That's until the first sign of trouble and we know all too well how easily the narrative will flip. Casemiro gets an ACL and the season has ended, regardless of Zidane's apparent "technical acuity" and Perez' "4D chess". Credit where credit is due, but I will not miss Perez when his time inevitably ends. -Lord |
FergieRaww: pu7pl3:As I said, I don't like Perez. His decision-making strikes me as errant and gambles. I would not apologize or pretend about my reservations for his leadership style. I'm firmly in the anti-Perez camp and I'd pop a bottle of champagne when he uses the exit door. -Lord |
hopefulLandlord:No go jinx things now ooo. We're entering the business end of the season. This better run will be quickly forgotten if there's no end result. Good on the players for turning up. My last post on Zidane was giving him more time. As for Perez, I gave him a rare commendation for some of his transfer business over the summer. But I certainly don't like the guy and wouldn't pretend I do. The sooner he's out, the better. #HalaMadrid -Lord |
KoiceReloaded:The poster you replied said the list was fake. And used FDJ and de Ligt positions as examples. You said he was incorrect. Now you're typing BS. The kyn bet you were willing to make would have been a loss. Rubbish! -Lord |
KoiceReloaded:That has got f*ck-all to do with the leaked list. The leaked top 10 list is fake. EOD! -Lord |
SerVik:He's free to say whatever, as long as he wins it. If he doesn't, no problem. Like Modric he won't make next year's shortlist. BTW, jabs are part and parcel of sportsmanship. I recall FDJ nail-biting jab last year after Ajax demolished Madrid n Juventus. That boy won't make heaven. -Lord |
ddippset:If the award had occurred in October like FIFA The Best, VVD would have won it. But apparently they're taking the first half of the season into account. That's why Lewandowski made top 10. VVD hasn't impressed in the back like Messi has in the front so far. I still think VVD deserves it on the back of last season, but even the oga doesn't care, so why should I. Las las, my favorite CR7 is angry, commando CR7. -Lord |
hopefulLandlord:Agree with you. We're moving forward not backwards. Madrid is not a retirement home. -Lord |
From most indications Messi would win it, even tho' the leaked list was fake. But if by any chance VVD wins it, who am I to complain. Afterall Modric is the first and only Ballon D'Or winner not to make the shortlist of the subsequent year, yet apparently he deserved it last year. Congrats to the winner, we go again next year. -Lord |
KoiceReloaded:It's fake. Check the top 10 on FP. These leaks are often fan-made to sway opinion. -Lord |
nihilistjnr:You dey mind them?! If it's Messi playing with Bernadeschi, Matuidi, Khedira, Pjanic, and their perennial enemy Higuain; instead of Griezmann, Suarez, De Jong, Arthur, and Vidal; by now we for don hear say them kidnap Barto full family. Only Valverde, them no gree us hear word. System fraud. Them no dey even know when to hide their face. Na everything dem 1 follow argue. 11 goals in 3 years; and them dey wonder why Argentines dey wish say na Ronaldo them get instead of the Catalan. -Lord |
Astark:Sorry he doesn't retire from the NT when his team needs him. Portugal need to win both matches, and they need to score lots of goals to qualify. He stepped up, YET AGAIN! Injury or no injury! Tune in on Sunday, when he joins the 100 goal club. At Messi's current speed, he'd need 10 years to smell it. -Lord |
Chrisus:Still leading his team in goals in Serie A. If Juve weren't sh*t, Higuain for dey top scorers ranking. If he score, una complain; if he didn't score, una go say common Lithuania he no fit score. -Lord |
Astark:So Messi needs 3 years to score 11 goals against those teams? Even tho' they've turned Copa America to a league with the number of times they've hosted the comp in the last few years. Shame no catch you! Or which continent are France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, England in? This is why the fraud will not leave Camp Nou. -Lord |
Neimar:You know say you no suppose open mouth ba? Ronaldo has scored more international goals this year than Messi has in the last 3 years combined. As hopefulLandlord would say, take that as you will! -Lord |
Haemophilia:Guy relax na. If na Messi or Benz dey struggle now, we CR7 fans go loud am everywhere... I've said it continually, na turn by turn. CL KO stages go reach, them go disappear. Save your strength until then. Personally, I'm happy about Benz renaissance. Dude was a sidekick for CR7 for 6+ years without throwing a tantrum. Ever. Even when we the fans called him a waste-pipe, he did what he could diligently. Even Dybala wen dey shine now, no dey put mouth for the matter. Oga dey sit down bench dey wait him chance. Abi u think say e easy to stay person shadow? Even Neymar japa! Nai mk Hazard miss 3 CLs, say e 1 win Balon D'Or with Chelsea. Na their chance to rail on CR7 now, because deep down they know say wen January reach; mata go pass garri. Let them enjoy the candy while it lasts. Ronaldo no dey reason them, early Monday momo, he take private jet enter Portugal, today he train like say e no get injury; you should learn to ignore the naysayers as well. When he left Madrid, he knew very well that this could happen. That's why he called it a challenge, not a picnic. I'm betting he'd come out on top eventually, his detractors are betting it'd overwhelm him. -Lord |

When Eder scored the winning goal in Euros, he did not condescend ba? When Guedes scored the winning goal in the Nations League, he did not condescend ba? Una go jor open mouth dey type rubbish. Na Sarri with 1 trophy wen Kepa tidy nai 1 'help off unceremoniously.' After he don play under Sir Alex, Mou, Ancelotti, Zidane, Benitez, and Allegri. Abi you know how much Juve go lose if them f*ck this deal up? - Lord |
mystical109:Guy na tap-in we dey yarn about. If e easy as una dey talk, Messi for don use am win international trophy. The same Higuain nai deliver d 2 assists when mk Juve win the last two games. Higuain and Dybala when no fit play with Messi nai dey pull consecutive masterclasses with "out-of-form"/injured Ronaldo. Like play he go use them win treble and na one of them go score winning goal. While una go still dey moan about 2014. See Bernardo when he use win Nations League, league don start he don quiet. When CR7 enter pitch e go start dey display. That's what it means to be a GOAT. He brings out the best in everyone, such that even when he's not on the pitch, they bleed all the same. -Lord |
mystical109:Goal na goal. Assist na assist. If he's able to score multiple goals with only Bernardo as the top-rated offensive player, while nursing an injury, then it proves how useless Juve has been. The interesting part is that everyone from President Agnelli to sewage workers in Turin know Sarri's Juve has been serving hot garbage since after the Inter game. It wouldn't last forever. When it ends, your kind will be forced to eat crow and all these taunts will cease until when form dips again. So I'm not disturbed about any of this. -Lord |
highness25:Don't let the narrative get to you. Sarri no get that liver. Person wen Kepa manhandle. Moreover Ronaldo no go scatter dressing room because them substitute am, na when this rubbish wen dem dey play continue till middle of season, na then body go tell Sarri. Start better players, he dey form Gaddafi! -Lord |
kronos1:No, it's just this age of quick reactions. Everyone wants to chip in something and want to be the first to state/support a growing opinion. Anytime he has a dip in form or doesn't score multiple goals, they want to be the first to point out that he's declining. When he gets back in form, they'd suspend formalities. That's how barely 3 weeks ago, everyone was betting Zidane would be sacked before December. Now, them don scatter like roaches. Ditto with Pocch. It's the same way Chelsea and Leicester are doing well now. If they enter a slump, you'd start hearing IGG, fluke, and Lampi/Rodgers would become scapegoats. -Lord |
gurunlocker:And what is your point? If tap in easy, Messi for don win International trophy! It's Juventus midfield that's the issue. Sarri started Matuidi, Bernadeschi, Pjanic, and Bentacur yesterday. Compare that midfield to Madrid, Barcelona, City, Liverpool, Bayern, even Tottenham and Chelsea. If they're not average, how did Milan that are just a few points shy of relegation overrun the midfield? Sarri put Costa for Bernadeschi, Rabiot for Matuidi; and Juventus had more quality chances in the last 20 minutes than in the first 70. Unfortunately, Costa and Ramsey are pieces of glass; you cannot bet your season on them. This one is not even create chance let me score. They're not even completing passes. Even to put in decent crosses or set piece na war. And if Ronaldo takes the ball to his usual left, the only person in the box is Higuain, if Higuain is not in the match, the box will be empty; every other player will just freeze. No body will make runs or sneak between the lines to receive a pass; them go just position for back; when they receive the ball; back or sideway pass. At least in Barca, it's #PassToMessi; in Juve currently, it's #PassToTheOpposition. At least you know this stint is temporary. Don't worry when he wins another trophy with tap-in or he scores multiple goals against LUX and LIT later this week you can resume your wailing. We CR7 fans no send una. Last match he was substituted, he sat on the bench and joined the team to jump off their seats when Costa scored the magical goal. But you guys focused on his interaction with Sarri. This time he was substituted and just left the pitch/stadium with virtually no interaction, una still find something to talk about. As if them dey score goal from bench?! Why is he not humble, why does he have a huge ego? Leave am like that for us, e follow wetin mk we like am. -Lord |
mystical109:If you can't use your eyes, that's not my fault. What is he supposed to do on the bench? He has to fly into Portugal today for the must-win qualifiers. Last last, na una way anytime his form dips. He's finished, he's done, he should hang his boot, he's declined, there's no way back for him... In the end, he shows up time and time again. All of a sudden, the GOAT who was apparently having a renaissance at the start of the season playing like he did in his Man U years is now playing "rubbish" because of the average players who started the match. Good thing your ticket entered. Fanboy no dey for money matter. -Lord |
eTECTIV:Matuidi, Pjanic, Bernadeschi, Bentacur. If you're a sporting director, how many of them would you buy in your team currently? The coach had Costa, Ramsey, Rabiot, Can on the bench; and started those misfits. -Lord |
ronalmagic10:Id*ot! He asked to be substituted.
-Lord |
Aturitoroman:Portugal's squad list for the last 2 qualification games... Goalkeepers | Beto (Goztepe), José Sá (Olympiacos) and Rui Patrício (Wolverhampton);Dude will most likely be flying out of Turin tomorrow morning. Both games are must-wins. -Lord |
hopefulLandlord:Why fear dey catch you? Nobody go beat you! Astark:They treat him like a demi-god. Every goal he scores get a SUIII by everyone on the field, including opposition fans. The bottom line is that he'd have to adapt his playing style again to be able to score for fun. No one in Juventus' entire midfield will enter the first 11 of any of the top 5 teams in Europe currently. That's their limitation and they're adapting to a new playing style. As for the substitution, it was a precaution. He's started all but 2 games this season and played full 90. He's been playing with a knee injury in the last few games. Sarri needs him for the Milan Derby tonight. Portugal also needs him for the last stretch of the qualifiers later this week. That's why he was taken off when Sarri noticed a wobbly run (you don't have to believe me, check out Sarri's post-match press conference). As for his ego or respect. Ramsey apologized for poaching the goal in a post-match interview and the players have nothing but mad respect for him. Everyone wants to prove something, which is what happened when he was here and during Euro 2016. Dude will just be tiding over and the other players would bleed for him; and you Catalan folks will fume about another Eder or Bale magic. Juve has been getting results by sheer grinta and individual brilliance. When he inevitably turns the volume up, and the team gets its sh*t together; all this murmuring will end like those who were mocking Lampard and dissing VVD at the start of the season. I respect him far more for getting out of his comfort zone. Dealing with the obvious slump confidently, putting his head down, and working to stay on the summit. He did it at Man U. Did it here. I have no doubt he'll do it at Juve. Miremoses1:Klopp is building a legacy. I hope at some point in the future, I see his scuffled face in the box at the Bernabeu. -Lord |
