[s]He doesn't give a shit about anything that happens to Madrid so long his boyfriend called something like Christian Ronald does well wherever he is. I could bet my left but he's watched much more Rubentus matches in the past 1 and half season than he's watched his supposed club. I'm pretty certain he'd support Rubentus against Madrid in a UCL final so his lover can win another UCL + another balon d'Or

All these matches we've been winning is like a stake driven to his heart, now that we've lost a game he's very relieved and can't wait for us to lose more[/s]
hopefulLandlord:

Lmao dude what do you mean "waiting for us to win"? since this season winning is majorly what we have been doing, we have lost just thrice now through out the season
So what in the hell are you yapping about?

You are the pretty petty character, secretly praying for your club to lose so you can claim it as a proven point, it's not just petty it's dumb tbh and right now you look like the biggest clown in a circus on your own
And one of those "only three" losses is one that kicks us out of the CdR.

If we're kicked out of the UCL, it'd also be one of a few losses.

You're sounding like a broken record. Which is no surprise really.

Swissh:
Won't you prefer your club to win matches and be proven wrong than lose matches and be right.
Direct that to the other camp.

Once upon a time on this thread, everyone was free to have their misgivings. You could critique a lineup, form, players, a coach's tactics (or lack thereof), the front office; but come kickoff everyone bands together to give the team full support. After all is said and done, there are no brooding or groveling. Chapter is closed, everyone moves on, unto the next game. #HalaMadrid.

Now, heaven forbid you question anything. That means you expect the worst for the team. You either have Perez sh*t on your nose or you're not a true Madridista. And after any positive run, some misguided elements will make it a point to raise dust.

Well f*ck that!

After our third UCL triumph, there was almost unanimous agreement we needed to beef things up for the next season. And when none of that occurred over the summer, the same questionable character hopefulLandlord made it seem like disagreeing with Perez decision to not overhaul made one Anti-Madrid. In his words, we were going to win the UCL. When we didn't, he crawled into his hole like the roach he is.

Same last season, there was also the J Lo episode with Spanish favoritism. You would think that with hopefulLandlord's protectionism of J Lo decision making; that he somehow would veto any decision to sack J Lo. When J Lo was let go, he was AWOL while several of us conceded that it wasn't all J Lo's fault and wished him well.

When the immediate good run under Solari started, guess what. The roach emerged from the shadows to troll. Then with haste returned back to his cocoon when everything fell apart in that uneventful Black Week.

It's a pattern that continues even now. And he's recruited new minions like this purple whatever character.

If we get sent out of the UCL by Man City, you can bet your hat the S.O.B will lose his tongue.

I can't for the life of me understand what kind of vindictive m'fucker will use makeshift results to make an asinine point when things are still rocky. We almost crashed out of the UCL in the group stages, can't even give Barcelona a respectable distance in the league even with the sh*t season they're having, and we've lost our fear factor in the UCL finals stages.

But trolling a section of the fan base you disagree with on principle is more important.

Well if that's the BS they want to spout, I'd oblige them.

I was minding my business when my name was name-dropped, that wasn't petty. Now you want to claim sophisticated when Zidane fails in his 4th Cup run in a row pushing the much-desired treble to yet another season.

if ands or buts...please spare me...don't pretend like you wouldn't have still found more faults to nitpick in whatever approach Perez would have taken after Ronaldo left, even if he got Mbappe you and your myopia would still make it seem like it's all a gamble..well if gambling is how Perez has successfully run this club then sign me up to be a gambler
You mean same streak that's courtesy of the bald one who he happened upon by accident?

That's about the only feather in his cap. All his gambling had made us for the most part is an almost club.

And I've been nitpicking Perez even while Ronaldo was here. His awful decision making is not recent.

Your opinion is yours tho and I have no intention of antagonising you for it as long as you try to keep it on the downlow
The "errant gambles" have also won us just 2 league titles in the last 10 years.

Sporting wise, Manchester United has been sh*t for a long time now, they're still one of the most valuable clubs; so pardon me if I'm not giddy about "keeping us on top of the Deloitte money league for years."

RM is a big club. It has been a big club. It will remain a big club after your daddy is yanked out the Presidency.

Anyone with a tinge of foresight would have prevented last year or at least assuaged it. A couple of gambles later, the players turn up, we have a change in fortunes, and you guys are making it seem like it's a genius stroke.

That's until the first sign of trouble and we know all too well how easily the narrative will flip. Casemiro gets an ACL and the season has ended, regardless of Zidane's apparent "technical acuity" and Perez' "4D chess".

Credit where credit is due, but I will not miss Perez when his time inevitably ends.

[s]This is just a reminder that Zidane and Perez were getting criticised here right and left for the summer transfer dealings and a woeful preseason highlight of which was the 7-3 loss to Atletico Madrid. some Madrid fan (I presume) here even awarded this season's Laliga title to Atletico Madrid after a lackluster start to the season from us. Mr Lordadam even said Zidane was not a tactical coach at all; dunno if he still holds this opinion but I'm here to talk about only 3 of our transfer dealings he/they were heavily criticised for and how it's been playing out so far.

1. We sold Navas and got Areola on loan. This drew the ire of most Madridistas here as they felt Navas was treated unfairly. the poor to "just there" form of Courtois last season didn't help matters at all

So far all parties involved in that transfer has been happy. Real Madrid so far has the least goal conceded in the top 5 European leagues. Navas has the starting spot he so desire.

2. Marcos Llorente was sold due to his wanting more play time which the coach can't guarantee and many Madridistas here wanted to crucify Zidane/Perez/both for that saying he's a very good player, we shouldn't have sold him and we'd regret selling him to our crosstown rivals. many even argued he should be ahead of Casimiro in the pecking order

So far Madrid are the biggest winners from the deal. Casimiro has been a rock in defense and a combination of Kroos Valverde Modric helps mitigate the effects of not having a proper DM when Casimiro is unavailable or rested while Llorente, who went to Atletico in search of playtime, has barely featured for them

3. Dani Ceballos was loaned to Arsenal and lots of criticism were thrown at Zidane and Perez yet again by Madridistas as they felt he should be here slugging it out with Kroos/Modric for starting spot. this came to a head when Ceballos played his first 2 matches for Arsenal and was fantastic.

So far Madrid are the biggest winners here, Ceballos at arsenal has turned to a forgotten man. meanwhile, Modric and Kroos seem to have recovered the form that made thinking people label them one of the greatest football midfield duos ever. add in the meteoric rise of Federico Valverde and it'd make sense to assume Ceballos may not play for this club again especially with Ødegaard doing so well at sociedad

Could it be Zidane and Perez know what they're doing? could it be that the president and coach of the most successful club in world football know more about what's good for the club than some guy that lives in Enugu and reads the news about the club on the internet?[/s]
No go jinx things now ooo.

We're entering the business end of the season.

This better run will be quickly forgotten if there's no end result.

Good on the players for turning up. My last post on Zidane was giving him more time. As for Perez, I gave him a rare commendation for some of his transfer business over the summer. But I certainly don't like the guy and wouldn't pretend I do. The sooner he's out, the better.

I always thought that VDK had it locked down based on the voting patterns of the journalists at the FIFA awards in September.

Even though I think Mane deserves it more than VDK.
If the award had occurred in October like FIFA The Best, VVD would have won it.

But apparently they're taking the first half of the season into account. That's why Lewandowski made top 10.

VVD hasn't impressed in the back like Messi has in the front so far.

Real Madrid have finally begun to look good in her transition to life without Ronaldo so Ronaldo coming back would be a massive step back for this great club. don't get me wrong, Ronaldo is one of the greatest players to have ever played for this club but that Ronaldo is gone and isn't coming back again. The Ronaldo at Rubentus isn't that Ronaldo; he's gotten much slower, lethargic, uninterested and weaker. We sold him at the right time having squeezed almost all the good left in him and even got around €110M for our troubles. I'd prefer him moving to UEFAlona at this point than to us

The problem with you guys is that you are always biased..... In the last 5 seasons, Ronaldo has always play shit at the beginning of the season till like February, then he will start scoring brace, hattrick and then we will start hearing "Best in the world", then boom, UCL is here....

Unless you are biased, you will agree to this.

You call juventus players average players? I'm sure you don't know what you are saying. I don't think any team has the squad Juventus has in Europe, not even Barcelona or Madrid.

My friend just stay inside the box, raise his hand for square play or tap in... Don't worry, he will soon be in form.
And what is your point?

If tap in easy, Messi for don win International trophy!

It's Juventus midfield that's the issue.

Sarri started Matuidi, Bernadeschi, Pjanic, and Bentacur yesterday. Compare that midfield to Madrid, Barcelona, City, Liverpool, Bayern, even Tottenham and Chelsea. If they're not average, how did Milan that are just a few points shy of relegation overrun the midfield?

Sarri put Costa for Bernadeschi, Rabiot for Matuidi; and Juventus had more quality chances in the last 20 minutes than in the first 70.

Unfortunately, Costa and Ramsey are pieces of glass; you cannot bet your season on them.

This one is not even create chance let me score. They're not even completing passes. Even to put in decent crosses or set piece na war. And if Ronaldo takes the ball to his usual left, the only person in the box is Higuain, if Higuain is not in the match, the box will be empty; every other player will just freeze. No body will make runs or sneak between the lines to receive a pass; them go just position for back; when they receive the ball; back or sideway pass.

At least in Barca, it's #PassToMessi; in Juve currently, it's #PassToTheOpposition.

At least you know this stint is temporary. Don't worry when he wins another trophy with tap-in or he scores multiple goals against LUX and LIT later this week you can resume your wailing. We CR7 fans no send una.

Last match he was substituted, he sat on the bench and joined the team to jump off their seats when Costa scored the magical goal. But you guys focused on his interaction with Sarri. This time he was substituted and just left the pitch/stadium with virtually no interaction, una still find something to talk about. As if them dey score goal from bench?!

Why is he not humble, why does he have a huge ego? Leave am like that for us, e follow wetin mk we like am.

I just posted a stat. how you interpret it is yours and yours alone smiley
Why fear dey catch you?

Nobody go beat you!

Astark:
he thought Italians will treat him like a demi God, he wanted to prove a point he can play in different league.

He's now worst seria a free kick taker ever

Even lukaku now outscoring him

He's now been substituted

See what big ego can cause
They treat him like a demi-god.

Every goal he scores get a SUIII by everyone on the field, including opposition fans.

The bottom line is that he'd have to adapt his playing style again to be able to score for fun. No one in Juventus' entire midfield will enter the first 11 of any of the top 5 teams in Europe currently. That's their limitation and they're adapting to a new playing style.

As for the substitution, it was a precaution. He's started all but 2 games this season and played full 90. He's been playing with a knee injury in the last few games. Sarri needs him for the Milan Derby tonight. Portugal also needs him for the last stretch of the qualifiers later this week. That's why he was taken off when Sarri noticed a wobbly run (you don't have to believe me, check out Sarri's post-match press conference).

As for his ego or respect. Ramsey apologized for poaching the goal in a post-match interview and the players have nothing but mad respect for him.

Everyone wants to prove something, which is what happened when he was here and during Euro 2016. Dude will just be tiding over and the other players would bleed for him; and you Catalan folks will fume about another Eder or Bale magic. Juve has been getting results by sheer grinta and individual brilliance. When he inevitably turns the volume up, and the team gets its sh*t together; all this murmuring will end like those who were mocking Lampard and dissing VVD at the start of the season.

I respect him far more for getting out of his comfort zone. Dealing with the obvious slump confidently, putting his head down, and working to stay on the summit. He did it at Man U. Did it here. I have no doubt he'll do it at Juve.

Will Liverpool ever lose a game at home again? Klopp has turned Anfield to a %**king fortress
Klopp is building a legacy. I hope at some point in the future, I see his scuffled face in the box at the Bernabeu.
