Hmm.....network is not a small sumtin ere at Obubra camp Cross River....been trying to connect to the internet to no avail.
Let me just give a recap.....normal parade practice from 6.30am to 8.15am so we cud get ready for swearing in.
10.10am Swearing in time. Just the normal procedure;attention,remove headcap,up,up.....so help me God.....replace headcap,up,up....shun.
The SSG was around to represent the governor of cross river sen liyel imoke.
Less i forget i met Alice earlier today......wud talk abt dat later.
One interesting tin happened......did i tell u 70% of corpers at obubra are NDIGBO (igbo kwenu)!! Back to d story TUNJI my namesake we rocked and made it a OPC tin,even started intmidating the ndigbo populace but i noticed sumtin they lyked us probably they felt we were funny or d normal ndigbo tinking of seein we yoruba pipz as touts. I lyked d attention and i dnt care abt wat they felt bt i know we rocked.....the perfect tag team.
1+8,2+7,3+6,4+5...yeah you guessed ryt 9....PLATOON 9. Guess who was also in platoon 9.....my namesake. We then started campaigning to our fellow yoruba corpers abt avin a yoruba platoon leader and not an ibo platoon leader cud ethnicity fued be in me or i was just avin the fun of it cos ofcourse dat wudnt be cos of i had one in mind Alice.
My team.....i had to use dat cos wen we got seperated during the evening parade and i must say dat was the most boring 15mins eva since i met my namesake. We practically made jokes abt everytin we saw skinny legs,fat babes, slim babes,tall babes,creme babes,noncreme babes,pimpled faced babes,soldiers,manowar guys i mean we put anything we saw to amuse our fellow platooners.
Fud Fud Fud....had to get d card signed cos my favourite was d course meal EBA....OH MY EBA but sumfin caught my attention i saw the ladies were much on the queue even for eba i tot...i mean with the creme babes (as dr. Meeky wud say) i guess ladies loved it or they just had no option.
Left the evening parade late around 7pm,went to for prayers,had my bathe............................................ ....

I am really sorry for not updating the house as early as I should have.

So far,camp has been really stressful,with lots of registrations and drilling. I'm yet to complete my registration because the queues on every point is so annoying,with as little number as one staff,attending to hundreds running to one thousand CORPS MEMBERS.

Ikare-Akoko camp in Ondo state,may not be too fine,but I think having FUN in camp depends solely on any corps member.
If you are not the social type,no amount of liveliness in camp can bring you out of your shadows,unless you freely mingle amongst your peers,and channeling your mind on what you will be offering to the camp,and not just what you stand to gain.

Unfortunately for me,I wasn't able to get any post in my platoon(10) due to the heavy competition for posts by corps members. I wasn't ready for any clowning, because that was what I pictured it to be,as most of the corps members coming out looks too un-serious for me(I'm not trying to belittle or underestimate anybody)...They say; FIRST IMPRESSION MATTERS.
I had the privilege of joining the dance group,which my first skill really TRILLED my platoon assistant Leader(fish number one ...na joke ooo )

Well,to round it up for now,camp has been fun all the way,regardless the stress. I will not fail to mention that one the MAMMY charging boys Damaged my BB torch battery with a fake charger(I will advise you use your charger always,theirs are mostly fake),which I had to buy an Almost Dead battery for N1500 just to keep up with the outside world,as we all here are almost in a dungeon with a mighty MOUNTAIN facing us.

Skateboard: Ebonyi camp has been great so far. The food is good too, everyone (including the 'big boys and big girls') queues with their coolers to collect food. I got a good accommodation, don't know about the guys that came late.

Today was fun. After the Swearing-in I told this cool-headed soldier to have a picture with me. He agreed and everyone else joined in. Who wouldn't wanna snap with a soldier? Lol.. A different level.

We were given a couple of forms to fill today so that we get fully registered as a corper.

It's been a great experience so far in Ebonyi camp. But I don dark wella now after all the crazy drills by the soldiers in the hot sun.

Why will God send u to Borno if He have bad intensions for you? instead of thinking of redeploying, i will advice you think on why God is sending you there. Na so my hausa room mates go dey sing; Chai, doroputi, kai , doro tasi. Now, our room is called DORO room.. i rep platoon 5, The heart of Gold. The only platoon with a female commandant in Black Gold camp here in Kaduna . Wait o,, they just asked us to come with our food permits to collect our transport allowance. But this hausa people think say i be aboki or wetin? cos i black? they wan dey speak hausa to me. . Met a Facebook friend , she was like Ojestas! is this you? She was expecting to see a goliath. lol. U would even think i m 12 years old. No thanks to childish face . See queue. Mehnnnnnn. I am coming....

On my way back from mami while i was walking towards a dark part i head an angelic voice say "hello" . I just ignored and continue walking until i head the voice again then i knew it was definately me since i was alone then i looked back and saw an angelic face with diamond glowing eyes staring at me.... We exchanged pleaseantries and not forgetting to compliment her beauty,after some mins of chit chat and answering camp related questions then i knew i finally got one creamy babe to myself.

As we continued walking and talking, i watch her smile and giggle every second which got me fully jazzed up. Just as we approached the light i deeped my hands into my pocket to get my phone so i request for her contact, i raised my head up to see the reflection of light on her milky skin with a big smile on my face my eyes saw the unthinkable.
