Mrs.Chima:

Pay attention DODO,

I did not say there is a written rule to take a vow if you are unmarried.  I said IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO WHAT MARRIED PEOPLE DO THEN YOU SHOULD take the vows too.  Nothing about rules, BUT SINCE YOU WANT TO BRING RULES IN the discussion.  Unmarried people shouldn't be bleeping.

Remember you BROUGHT RULE in it.

nope ur statement did not imply the above,

besides no one mentioned bleeping, u did,

so i would say that you brought the rule in.

Abeg, when is the dvd of your win over Barcelona at the Emirates gonna be released? A win in which you conceded an away goal that puts you on the brink of elimination.
Wilshere dominated the midfield? ROTFLMAO. . . Ball possession was 66%-34% in favour of Barca. In which part of your dreams did Wilshere dominate the midfield? I can count the number of times the kid even touched the ball. Wilshere dominated a midfield that had Xavi and Sergio? What insult!!

Did you guys see the game at all? You were simply lucky. Y'all think Messi will forever spurn sitters?

true, we were lucky but u need some luck in these sort of games.

just as barca were lucky against chelsea a few seasons back.

well, lets hope injuries to both sides don't affect the balance of the return leg so we can have a good game.

Mrs.Chima:

The comment is applied to ANYBODY regardless if you are married or not.  If unmarried people can do what married people do then they need to take the vows too.

well according to your own views that is,

there is no written rule to take the vows if you r unmarried.

every opinion counts just as yours

Mrs.Chima:

Now with all that being said-----WHY ARE YOU GUYS EVEN entertaining the mere thought of being PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE to the very woman that you vowed to love, cherish, PROTECT, and honor UNTIL DEATH DO YOU PART?

well the above only applies to married folks not unmarried folks.

unmarried folks can do what they like provided they know what they are doing,
Romance / Re: Is It Right To Hit A Woman For Any Reason? by lordimpaq(m): 12:31pm On Feb 19, 2011
is it right, yes and no depending on the circumstances

for example, if the woman has a weapon and you have to defend yourself, what happens, would we go with the 'for any reason' or we make exceptions.

it would be foolish to say do not hit a woman for any reason because there are scenarios that would warrant being hit.

has any one ever considered female assassins weilding a knife, or a gun, well i presume 'for any reason' do not defend your self.

well in some cases to defend yourself would mean to hit back so you don't get killed,

on the other hand, you should not hit a woman even if she hits (slaps but not punches) you. if the slaps comes to punches then defend yourself and excercise restraint, but if she's a professional boxer, men!!! defend yourself by hitting back,

so the question is it right is not just right question.

Again, what happened during the period when Arsenal won nothing for 17 years? You are not a true fan is winning is the only thing that matters to you - that is the fact of the matter. Either that or you are a post 1998 fan alone. Arsenal is way more than the past 12 years alone/.

I won't deny, i'm a post 97 fan. and i disagree with the statement of me not being a fan if winning is the only thing that matters. I would not be a fan if i fail to accept the fact that losing may form the bridge to success. and again there is no such thing as a true fan, you are either one or NOT.

To look at the lack of trophies in isolation and not examine mitigating circumstances such as the stadium move and the Highbury developments is unrealistic. Couple to this the massive influx of cash by Chelski and that explains the lack of trophies to an extent.

No, to examine the mitigating circumstances as a factor for lack of trophies is in actual fact a justification; which shouldn't be. they r all excuses.

I am not justifying our lack of trophies - simply pointing out clearly mitigating circumstances involved, coupled of course with mistakes by the manager and players as well.

Well you just did with the above statement which in turn defines the justification as migitating circumstances and mistakes by both players and managers, we don't need excuses, we just need luck

I disagree - what will be devastating for Wenger is going into the season without doing the necessary things - reinforcing defence and the GK positions. If he fails to do the obvious and we come up short, then he will be in for tremendous criticism.

well he always does the obvious, dats why he's always criticized, he makes some funny decisions.

If, however, he fails to win because the other teams are simply better, fans will be content with a side that truly challenges for the trophy.

No, fans will never be content because we inconsistently challenge for the trophy, that statement above is quite sentimental,

If trophies kept players, Cashley wouldn’t have left in 2006, we had recently won the FA cup when he got tapped up by Chelski. Utd had just won the CL yet CR was seeking to leave for Real and so on.

Players leave clubs for reasons best known to them, some for winning trophies and some for other reasons, but wat i'm trying to say is that 90% of the time trophies keep BEST players

Let’s get things straight - only those that support the club solely for trophies will leave if we fail to win. The fact is, there is no birthright to winning trophies - all you can do is prepare to challenge. Once you’ve done that, the vagaries of a season affect all teams.

Then we are on the same side, why haven't i left, because i'm a fan NOT a true fan.

5 years is not too long to develop a footballing culture that will last. It takes belief to achieve.

word,

it takes belief to achieve with consistency.

I know it's early days yet, but Utd look good for the title. . . I foresee diminishing returns setting in for Chelski who haven't renewed their squad sufficiently, while the other pretenders flatter to deceive.

i want to believe that Arsenal are one of the pretenders,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by lordimpaq(m): 7:41am On Aug 10, 2010
@debosky

well, dk has some point u know, well dats my own opinion.

Wat matters for the fans is for Arsenal to win trophies irrespective of how they play, playing consistent footie without winning anything is nothing.

If We do not win anything this season, the faith we fans have in Wenger would start to fade in such a rapid manner that he wouldn't know wat hit him.

In addition to that players would want to leave and also we might eventually lose fabregas,

like i said, my opinion,
