A House of Representatives Member representing Mashi/Dutsi federal constituency Katsina, Sani Bello has been kidnapped. Police in Katsina confirmed that Bello was abducted alongside his aide at Goburawa village, Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna State on his way to the farm. The incident was also confirmed by a twitter user Hadi Sirika, from same constituency as Sani Bello.

An accident occur this morning following an attack by armed robbers on the Ipetu Ijesa-Erin Oke segment of the Akure-Ilesa road in Ondo state.


FRSC officials and policemen responded quickly to assist the victims.

The final journey of Nigeria football legend, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi will begin in Benin City, Edo State today.


On Wednesday, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed that the final rites would now be confined to Edo and Delta States.

Keshi, one of only two men to have won the Africa Cup of Nations as player and as coach, died in Benin City on Wednesday, June 8 at the age of 54.


Family sources confirmed that the remains of the legend will be interred at his hometown of Ilah in Delta State on Friday.

Some Armed bandits reportedly attacked a corpers lodge in Bori, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State.
This was before an Independent National Electoral Commission Office in the same area was gutted by fire on July22.


"On the 10th of July 2016, the Corpers lodge in Bori the capital of Khana LGA of Rivers state was attacked by about 15 armed robbers by 4 am. 4 Corpers were present whose names are Duru Humphrey (pictured), Aroh ifeanyi, Ebenezer Benson and Onyekachi Christian. They were disposed of their valuables including money and gadgets.


The robbers used machete to inflict injuries on the innocent corps members before leaving the area. Up till know the government is yet to react to this and even the hospital bills were payed by the victimized corps members."
