Well,I stay at sango and work in the island.I leave house 4;30am,yet I'll c traffic.I wonder if lagosians ever sleep..besides,the havoc danfo drivers causes on lagos road is overwhelming.they tends to pick passengers at every corner of the road.I just expect. Them to start knocking of passengers various doors to pick them!

u can go for the o4 Honda crv give u d 4wd feel with low fuel consumption cos it's a 2.4l suv with also a nice handling.but the choice is urs to make.

100k can't maintain a car, I disagree with this, a car isn't necessarily be seen as a luxury, but as a means of making life easier. If you spend close to #500 a day for transport come on for a week its #2500 even that I can use for close to a week on a V6 3.0L, I magine if the op was driving a corolla with 1.6L engine or 1.8L engine it will make a lot of sense.

How much does it cost to service a car in a year theoretically
Engine oil 12K x 3
Filter let's say 2K x 3
Brakepads 24k for a year all legs
Miscellaneous 20k
Total for a year 86,000
And you would have earned 1.2m in a year remove the maintenance from it u still have 1.1m to spend

1. If you have replaced your transmission fluid before, then it simply means the fluid you used isn't the recommended one and because that fluid cannot hold the temperature of the transmission it starts to boil reason for the leakage, I will advice you get the recommended ATF (dextron VI since it replaced dextron III).

2. The transmission in that car is one solid one and may not give way if abused, your car may reverse or move but the RPM will reach 3000, if that is your case then the transmission is still ok, solution to this is find a competent mecho that will check your transmission and give appropriate remedy.

3. If the ATF fluid is black, u check the dip stick and smells of carbon (burning smell) then that ATF used is bad. The colour on the dip stick should be dark pink in colour and have something close to ammonia smell.

It is possible that your ATF leaked to the point that your transmission ran dry and that would most definitely ruin it.

I would advise you allow a technician examine and scan your transmission to know the extent of damage done. with that he would be able to advise you on getting another transmission or rebuilding your faulty one.

Hi guys,
My toyota sienna 99 refused to move when I select D,but it will reverse,that was few hours ago.but right now,it will move forwrd and refuse to reverse.and I just discovered gear oil had being leaking all this while,had to pour another atf,but yet,it stil won't reverse.

Plz help,could it be the gear is damaged or need minor adjustment and repair.

I saw the people gathered around the deceased at Ojota this morning. It's a pity he committed suicide. Yes, it is suicidal to cross the highway where govt had made provision for a pedestrian bridge.

Even while the victim lay dead on the median, I could count about 10 'sick' Nigerians who had the presence of mind to cross the highway right at the scene of the accident.

Now, the family may be required by the state to pay a fine before the corpse would be released to them ( I stand to be corrected here)
Please my fellow Nigerians, always use the pedestrian bridge. You asked for it and now you got it...use it to your advantage.
